liegt sehr Zentral. Nur einige Meter bis in die Stadt. Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut ausgeschildert und zu Fuß zu erreichen. Sauberkeit und Service im Hotel ist super.

the bed was hard. the location was fantasic. didnt like having to use the card for the lift.

Was in the middle of town n very close to the arena which was great for us. Was friendly, clean n comfortable.

Very good unobtrusive service.

The hotel itself is modern, clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. Having to park the car in the multi-level public carpark opposite would prove awkward for a longer stay requiring more luggage.

Just stayed at the IBIS. Bit of a nightmare getting to the hotel, but blame that on my sat nav. FLETCHERGATE carpark is opposite and the hotel does parking offers there for £10. Really central, great for shopping, sightseeing and bars. Nottingham was a great day out.Hotel was clean and bright and room did the basics well. For the price we paid for 2 […] of us it was good value, but if paying more then the beds were small and not that comfortable, and its all a bit basic! Mehr

Stayed here overnight , Travelled from Norwich to see Steps at the Capital F,M Arena. Arrived at hotel , greeted by very friendly staff , helped with the operation of the lift , room lovely, location perfect, what more did we need . will definately use this hotel again when we come back , x

Hotel is fine though parking opposite in the public car park is a bit steep for a provincial town, even with the discount afforded by being a resident of the hotel it was expensive. Didn't use the bar or restaurant

The hotel is located very centrally. The rooms are adequate and functional rather than luxurious, but the overall value is exceptional. A pub just down the street serves excellent breakfasts.

The shower compartment is big and clean. One of the lights came off and the sink's drainage wasn't good, but I got a quick response for fixing both, just within ten minutes. The male receptionist was nice with smiling, but the female's not. Pillows not comfortable. Overall it was alright for a short stay and will be one of my choice next time.

Brilliant location close to train station and in the middle of the city centre, very clean and highly recommended

Ibis is a budget hotel and for a budget hotel this one ticks all the boxes. The room was clean and large, from the fifth floor there was an amazing view of the city, staff is really polite and helpful and the best bit is that the location is great - in the centre, close to the shops and walking distance from the station. Just perfect

THIS IS THE WORST HOTEL IN TERMS OF SERVICE THAT I HAVE EVER STAYED IN. MY PARTNER AND TWO OTHER GUESTS ORDERED A CHICKEN SALAD. THE FOOD WAS PREPARED BY A MEMBER OF STAFF THAT WAS RUNNING BETWEEN BOTH RECEPTION AND THE BAR. THE FOOD WAS WAS WARMED UP IN A MICROWAVE BEHIND THE BAR AND WAS BROUGHT TO THE TABLE INCOMPLETE, MISSING SOME OF THE ITEMS OF […] FOOD DECRIBED IN THE MENU. WHEN THIS WAS POINTED OUT, THE MALE MEMBER OF STAFF CAME OVER TO THE TABLE AND PROCEEDED TO SPRINKLE CHEESE OVER THE DISH THERE AND THEN WITH NO APOLOGIES. WHEN ASKED WHERE THE CROUTONS WERE HE REPLIED - "THERE AREN'T ANY" WHEN THE LADIE NEXT TO US POINTED OUT (QUITE RIGHTLY SO) THAT SHE WAS NOT PREPARED TO PAY FULL PRICE FOR AN INCOMPLETE MEAL, THE WAITER WENT OFF TO SPEAK WITH THE ELUSIVE MANAGER AND UPON HIS RETURN OFFERED THE MEAL HALF PRICE - HE THEN PICKED UP THE MEAL AND TRIED TO TAKE IT AWAY! NEEDLESS TO SAY AFTER ONLY ONE MOUTHFUL, HALF PRICE STILL WOULDN'T DO AND THE CUSTOMER DEMAND HE PUT THE MEAL DOWN SO THAT SHE COULD FINISH WHAT SHE HAD. PARKING - BEWARE - I MADE A POINT OF ENQUIRING ABOUT THE CAR PARK TARIFF WHICH SHOULD BE DICOUNTED FOR GUESTS AT THE HOTEL (MULTI STOREY OPPOSITE) RECEPTION STAFF DIDN'T SEEM TO KNOW THE PROCEEDURE BUT SAID IT WOULD BE HALF PRICE. WHEN WE PAYED THE NEXT MORNING THE MACHINE CHARGED US FULL PRICE (£16) WHEN WE WENT TO THE CAR PARK OFFICE THEY REFUSED TO GIVE US A REFUND, STATING THE HOTEL SHOULD HAVE TOLD US THAT WE HAD TO VALIDATE THE TICKET AND PAY FOR THE PARKING AT THE CAR PARK OFFICE - NOT AT THE MACHINE - WE WERE TOLD TO GO BACK AND SPEAK TO THE HOTEL AS THEY WERE NOW RESPONSIBLE FO THE REFUND. THE MANAGER WAS INCREDIBLY RUDE AND REFUSED TO REFUND TELLING US WE WERE ALREADY TOLD ABOUT THIS. I SAID WE WERE NOT, EVEN THOUGH I HAD ASKED THE MALE MEMBER OF STAFF STOOD NEXT TO HIM AT THAT TIME - WITHOUT EVEN ASKING HIS EMPLOYEE - HE SPOKE ON HIS BEHALF AND SAID "OF COURSE HE TOLD YOU" UNBELIEVABLE, HOW DID HE KNOW, HE WASN'T THERE! Clean, modern room with contemporary finish and furnishings. Superb bathroom with very large, power shower. A considerably better room than we've experienced at three times this price.

This hotel cannot be beaten for the price. Great location. Clean and comfortable rooms that are a good size. We've stayed here before and no doubt if we find ourselves in Nottingham again, we'll stay here again.

This hotel (Ibis Nottingham) was absolutely excellent in every way. Although it was 5 years old we thought it was brand new. The whole place was bright and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.There is a good choice of breakfast either full or continental at a very reasonable price.To complete the picture the hotel is ideally situated in the centre […] of town and on the main tram route.We cant wait to go there again. Almost everything is good about this hotel, except the TV and radio. These are like a throwback to the 1970s with a very restricted choice. While I do not mind whether or not Sky Sports or subscription film channels are available, I think that they should at least offer every Freeview channel available in the locality. In this case, that would be all […] free channels. There are something like 12 channels available. The radio choice is even worse, with just three stations available, Radio 1, Radio 2 and BBC Five Live. I would expect as a minimum all the stations available on Freeview, plus any national station not carries on Freeview and any local station. Unfortunately, in my experience, this is a problem that is shared by all the hotels in the Ibis chain. It's not a deal breaker for me but it is irritating. In all other respects, I rate the Ibis Nottingham and the chain as a whole as excellent. Mehr

Brilliant value for a centrally located hotel in Nottingham. Clean room, not as small as I expected given other comments I had read. And the road was quiet at night which other visitors had not all experiences (though we were staying mid-week). But it's so centrally located you would expect some nighlife noise. The car park opposite was full when we […] arrived though we did arrive late morning on a busy shopping day close to Christmas so no surprise really. Car parking at the nearest place we found was very pricey for 24 hours so did add to the price a bit but that would be the same for any hotel in the area that did not have its own car park and most wouldn't. We booked breakfast when we arrived - it was a good price but it was fairly basic so I probably wouldn't do so again. But I would definitely stay there again. Mehr

Just what I needed, 5 minutes from capital FM arena for concert, plenty of nearby shops for a snack, car park opposite (Fletcher gate) Hotel offers discount on parking (Car park entrance before hotel). Best shower I've had in a hotel. No complaints at all. ****

Having paid a very small amount for my stay at the Ibis, I expected a typical budget hotel. My mind was completely blown by how amazing it actually was. My room, which was for just me and had one double bed, was enormous, and would have easily fit two people but for one person really felt like a palace. The room was clean, new, bright, well-furnished, […] etc. The bathroom was clean and well-equipped and spacious. The location was great--really close to the Nottingham Train Station, which was perfect since I arrived in the evening and it was my first time in Nottingham. It was also really close to the library and the centre of town, so when I wanted to explore the next day, it was great as well. The staff was super helpful and friendly. I didn't end up trying the restaurant there, though the food looked good (I went for the one pound Tesco sandwiches). I paid a 9 pound fee for 24 hour Internet access, which would have been nice to have included, but was not bad since I really needed to use it. The next day, I needed to check out and checkout time was noon, but I wasn't meeting a friend until 5pm and therefore thought I needed to lug my bags everywhere. Instead, when I checked out, the friendly staff asked me if I wanted them to hold my luggage, and I got to check it into a luggage room for five hours. Not bad. The staff also helped me with all of my various questions, regarding where to buy groceries, how to figure out the buses, how to get to the library, etc. I honestly couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay, and kind of wished I had stayed longer. Visiting my eldest daughter at uni - I booked to stay at the Ibis solely because of the price. Pleasantly surprised to see that it was near to everywhere and only a short 10 min walk from the train station. Nottingham Contemporary Arts Centre is practically opposite - free and fun. Worth a look see. Room was very basic but very clean. Teen and I were […] bemused by the 'Ship cabin-like' bathroom but everything worked so no worries. Receptionists were disappointingly clueless about the surrounding area and local cafes but not a deal breaker. Worth noting that we missed the weekend rush by arriving on a sunday so no noise to complain about as other reviews may have done. All in all it does what it says on the 'tin'! First ever visit to Nottingham. Wasn't sure where to stay close to the Arena. The Ibis was ideal. I will stay again on my next concert visit.

warm welcome from receptionist, spotless room,decent breakfast, 10 minute walk from station, better value than airport hotels, highly recommend and will definately use again

Nice hotel staff helpful,rooms clean and decent for the price. Not too great a breakfast could do with more choice and better quality,Saff very efficient and friendly I would recommend this hotel

Perfectly ok for one or two nights if staying in Nottingham - central as well, so in walking distance of railway station, castle, centre of town etc etc. Thought the breakfast was a bit pricey at 7.50 per person, especially considering what we'd paid for the room.

Good value for money, well located, staff efficient, management excellent as they considered a family crisis and adapted stay accordingly, without adding to the stress at the time. I would strongly recommend it, particularly for the last reason. .

The hotel is very good value and close to lots of bars and shops.. Very reasonably priced and exceptionally clean. Perfect for 1 night stays

This is an economy hotel and it delivers all the basics - only thing missing was a hair dryer, other wise everything there. Staff very friendly and the whole hotel is set up to serve - they have a 24 hour food service. If you are looking for somewhere providing a room to sleep in then go for thsi hotel. Its clean funcional and basic, the toilet / shower facility was new and very clean. Its modern and cheap and does the job perfectly. dont bother with £7.50 for breakfast, theres plenty of places to eat less than 5 minutes walk away in the city centre. will stay here […] again next time in nottingham. Good room on the 4th floor so very little noise apart from the church clock. Only small issue were the lack of channels on the TV. Good staff nice and clean and parking opposite at a reduced rate

We arrived and it was in a very convienent location with the tram right next the the hotel and the hotel basically 5 mins walk from the city center. The surrondings of the hotel isn't bad and the lobby is actually quite nice and new. However, once we arrived in our rooms we found the rooms to be quite dirty actually and the table was especially sticky. […] We asked one of the housekeeping staff if they could clean up the table a bit and her answer was "sorry, there is nothing I can do." We then had to call reception before someone was sent up to clean up the table. The beds was small but that was expected from ibis and the toliet was actually the nicest bit of our room - it had that space like look and feel to it. However, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone because of 2 major issues: 1) It was not clean. Except for the table, the carpet, walls was also quite dirty and the window had blobs of dirt stuck to it. There was a few beatles (or other beatle like insect) walking around and I woke up with a dead one on my bed too. 2) Staff was no all that friendly: The housekeeping lady telling me that there was nothing she could have done with the table. Staff not properly cleaned and one of the receptionist was not too friendly too - when I complained about the cleaniness at the end of stay, all she said was maybe the housekeeping lady did not understand you, I'll talk to them. Nothing specific about being sorry for the bad stay or how they will improve in the future. However, if you insist on staying - at least the location is good and you can get the tram right outside the hotel. But don't expect the usual clean but simple Ibis style of hotel. Mehr

I chose this hotel for its location in relation to a business meeting. I didn't it expect it to be quite so nice. The room was immaculate, the staff knowledgable and helpful, and I had a lovely view as the hotel sits atop a hill. Breakfast was fine and the location was safe and near to shopping, dining, and even a late night mini-grocery store. Its […] not 5 star in its ammenities (don 't expect marble bathrooms, antique desks, and down comforters), but it offers a very reasonable rate with a high quality bed, and comfortable room. Very clean economy hotel. We were a little worried when a lively stag party was put in the rooms around us but the hotel staff quickly moved us to another room on the floor above with grace and no fuss at all. Breakfast buffet is good value with healthy (and not so healthy) options. Pleasant views over Nottingham. Would stay here again.

Spent one night, best IBIS I've stayed in. Hotel was clean, modern, great staff, quiet. Definately would recommend for a budget hotel in Nottingham.

I stayed two nights here recently. On the first occasion I had a room on the 2nd floor at the back of the hotel. It was very quiet and had a pleasant outlook onto a terrace garden, and the roof tops beyond. The breakfast was good value at £5 - with a variety of fresh fruits, cereals, croissants, etc.. On the second occasion my room was at the front […] and on the 5th floor. The room standard was as good, but (not surprisingly) I found the front much more noisy. Also, it looked into offices and generally lacked the nice outlook of the other room. On both occasions I found there was very little internal noise; maybe I was just lucky with my "neighbours" or soundproofing may be better than in modern hotel buildings. Mehr
