Would be nice to have a kettle/coffee/tea in the rooms. A hotel taxi service would be a great addition. I suppose a lift to the second floor is out of the question?! The breakfast would be much improved with fruit. Staff generally friendly, helpful and pleasant. The city is quite beautiful and the Chateau should be promoting its proximity.

An excellent welcome and hospitality. Overall great levels of service. The walk into town at 1 hour, took a little longer than expected.

Excellent hotel to spend a stop over in. Beautiful setting next to the lake and lots of old world charm. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We did not expect cooking facilities but this was useful as we could not find any restaurants closeby.

Cool room. Great breeze coming off the lake. Short easy drive to the city (10 minutes in a car). Pretty unique. Warnings: Shower was broken, scalding hot water, also went all over the floor, Breakfast isn't free. Other than these two things, it was great.

Hotel excellent ,the only downside the bed was too hard.

We enjoyed our stay in Bourge and the Lake so close to the Chateau was a great bonus, a place to stretch your legs. Well recommended. Only one small point just for us, the beds were hard. Have already recommended this place to friends.

The hotel Château De Lazenay - Résidence Hôtel De Charme was very chic. It was rated as a 2 star hotel but could easily have been hu=igher. The furnishings were very French and the room was very large and clean. Very basic but comfortable. It even had a small cooking area with fridge but no utensils apart from a couple of pans - but useful if you needed […] it. Bathroom was lovely but shower head needed fixing as when the shower was switched on water sprayed everywhere - literally!! We spent quite a while soaking it all up with towels so not the best, but when we mentioned it to the staff the following day they were pretty good. Though you could open large windows in the room to get air in because the hotel was by a large lake the were trillions of mosquitoes - pretty massive they were as well so take mossy killer else you'll have to keep the windows shut and will literally melt away in your sleep as it's SO hot - trust me we know!!!! No air con or fans, which was a shame as if they had one of these it would have been a much pleasanter stay. Breakfast was lovely but you do have to pay extra. We payed 8 euros each and it was pretty good. All in all I would definitley say that it was a beautiful place to stay and the staff were very friendly and helpful. 8 out of 10 Mehr

Bourges is almost exactly halfway betwenn Calais and the Languedoc Coast so Chateau de Lazenay is ideally located for a stop-over. This is a small chateau that has been converted into a hotel offering comfortable rooms with basic cooking facilities. The staff are very helpful and the rooms are clean and well designed. Note that the hotel does not […] have a full restaurant although there is a very good one within a short drive. We have stayed at Chateau de Lazenay twice in the last three years and would not hesitate to stay there again in the future. Mehr

Contrairement aux informations sur le site, la chambre ne donnait pas sur le lac, mais sur l'entrée avec vue sur une ancienne demeure à moitié effondrée. Pas de table de travail dans la chambre. Manifestement, les informations sont générales et pas spécifiques à chaque chambre. La personne à l'accueil n'a pû nopus renseigner des restaurants ouverts […] le dimanche soir. A Borges, tout est fermé sauf une brasserie Kanterbrau à éviter absolument!. Pour le reste, l'hôtel est impeccable, silencieux et le petit déjeuner très correct. Mehr

Petit hôtel de charme, situé proche de la ville dans un cadre enchanteur. Le directeur fait tout son possible pour donner aux clients l'impression qu'ils sont "reçus" comme des hôtes : fiche de journée avec météo, dicton, evènements locaux, recette de cuisine locale...Bref, aucun décalage entre le cadre (aristocratique avec humour !) et l'accueil offert. […] A recommander sans réserves. Notre chambre n'avait pas vue sur le lac, mais nous y avons passé une nuit donc pas de problème. Petit déjeuner très bien. Accueil parfait. A l'occasion j'y retournerai. Proche du Centre Ville en voiture.

Een hotel dat zeer hoog scoort inzake comfort, locatie, service en vriendelijkheid. Zeer rustig gelegen met zicht op een meer en dit op nauwelijks 3 km van het centrum van Bourges. Een ideale etappeplaats voor wie naar het zuiden rijdt in twee dagen. Ook perfect gelegen voor wie Bourges en de streek wat langer wil bezoeken. Het enige minpunt is de samenstelling […] van het ontbijt: alleen zoete dingen, geen brood, kaas of wat vlees. Een ontbijt dat totaal ongeschikt is voor mensen met diabetes of voor wie niet van suiker houdt. Bij ons tweede verblijf hebben we dan ook geen ontbijt meer genomen ... Mehr

rapport qualité/prix correct; notre chambre, en rez de chaussée, sentait l'égout; nous avons dû aérer et dormir salle de bain fermée et fenêtre ouverte.Lorsque j'ai signalé le fait le lendemain matin, je n'ai pas eu l'impression d'intéresser la personne à l'accueil.

cette hotel à beaucoup de charme , très bonne acceuil , bon situation avec lac au pied de l'hotel , mais le nettoyage général de l'hotel est médiocre , toiles d'araignées dans la chambre un peu partout , idem dans la salle des petits déjeuners, vitres salles , dommage !!!!

pas du tout satisfait car j'étais logé au second étage sans ascenceur, sous les toits, avec environ 32 degrés dans la chambre sans climatisation. cet hotel m'a été recommandé par vos soins et la prochaine fois je resterai sur ma première idée.

Séjour des plus agréables, calme et douillet. Un voyage hors du temps... C'est devenu une étape obligée dans nos traversées de la France!

excellent accueil et conseils avisés pour la soirée;

Sur les photos l'hôtel ressemble à un château, il n'en est rien, c'est une grosse bâtisse décorée et meublée de manière cheap (moquette, plastiques). Il n'est pas possible d'arriver après 22h et il n'y a pas de dîner possible sur place... A quoi bon arriver le soir alors? Le propriétaire est des plus désagréables

Veel te kleine kamer. Zeer warm. Er is 1 klein raampje. Dit raampje is van buiten nog eens verlicht s'avonds waardoor de ongedierte zo binnen kan vliegen daarom kon het raam niet open. De kitchenette slaat nergens op zeggen en schrijven 2 borden 2 kopjes 2 mesjes en een plankje was er maar meer niet. de ventilatie stond altijd aan lawaaierig het werkte […] amper. slechte kussens op het bed. En de vloerbedekking zag er ook niet al te schoon uit. Ik moest eerst 4 spinnen ddod maken voordat ik naar bed kon. Er hing overal spinrag enz. Nee als ik het moet gaan vergelijken is mijn schuur thuis toch iets netter, En nu komt het het ontbijt: stuk stokbrood en een croissant, boter, 1 potje jam, melk en sap, nog een danontje en dat had je het wel gehad. Zeer vriendelijke en charmante ontvangst en uitleg. Goede kamers met koelkast en keuken, alhoewel het extra derde bed minder comfortabel was.
