Beverly Hills Inn - Atlanta

Nice old hotel with lots of character. Nice well maintained older building with lots of charm. The room was large and had a huge walk in closet. The closet was great for putting all of our suitcases etc out of sight but will easy access. The hotel has 4 floors and no elevator. Not a problem for me but a deal breaker for some. The only real problem I […] had with the hotel is that they expired our hotel key before check out time. Check out time is noon. My key should work till noon. We took a few things down to the car at 11 am and found ourselves locked out when we returned to get the rest of our belongings out of the room. I described this quaint hotel to a relative as "shabby European chic, with better plumbing." We had a room with a queen bed and a view of the back parking lot. VERY dated! Need a serious full restoration ASAP! The pictures advertised of the rooms is only one room in the entire hotel and obviously the nicest one by far! A bed and breakfast is usally a fresh cooked breakfast every morning but all that is offered is cereal and bagels from a bag! The room was like walking into a 1928 studio apartment and you could […] definately tell the age by the furniture, paint, bathroom and smell! The people were nice but that does not make the stay in a dump any better! The room was not the cleanest and the walls and ceiling are in a serous need of repair and paint! The location is not too bad but the parking is awful and the street has cars lining both sides all the way down so that only one car may pass through at one time and make leaving the Inn difficult due to the inability to see oncoming traffic from both directions! Bed was aweful! Matress was very old & could feel every spring. Got no sleep. Would have been perfect otherwise.

I felt so at home. I loved my room. It had an english feel to it with its antique furniture.Good shower. Great bed with lots of pillows and soft sheets. Very helpful and friendly staff! Publix and pizza right around the corner. Very Clean! Reminds me of Europe.

Spacious, comfortable room. Great location. Ample, free parking. A wonderful B&B / pensione. Fellini's pizza at the top of the block is an unexpected treat!

This vintage hotel had a great atmosphere! Given a large room with a king sized bed, kitchen, cable TV, internet and french doors that led out to a balcony. Continental breakfast in the morning and good maid service. A true gem located in a great area of Buckhead.

The rates were very reasonable. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Rooms are very large. The hair dryer caused the lights to dim and did not blow very hard. The location is very good, but the parking is tight (but free), so I am not complaining.

I really like the old feel to the building and the room. I also liked how when in the room you felt like you werent even in the city. Great Staff and Owner everyone was very nice. If I ever come back to Atlanta for Business I will be staying here

Very relaxed atmosphere. Building has a lot of character. Staff is very pleasent.

Nice comfy rooms in wondefully located in Buckhead. Would not call it a B&B since the food was bagels,cereal and apples. I would and probably will be staying here again.

My overall experience was excellent, the on-site staff was extremely friendly and was there to assist you in any way. I loved the ambience. The only thing I think the Mgmt can improve on is the outside grounds. There is some clean-up that needs to be done. There were old screen from the windows behind the exterior stairwell and it was overgrown, the […] stairwells were really dirty and covered with cobwebs. A couple of days of clean-up and the place would be prefect. Remember this house is from a historical period so you are going to here others walking around above you however other than that I did not hear a thing. I recently booked the Beverly Hills Inn for one night and was traveling on my own. I found the front desk person to be very helpful (he even carried my bags for me), my room was spotless, and the location is in a beautiful area among other well-kept historic homes right off Peachtree drive and only one block from an excellent pizza place. I loved the […] charm and eclectic atmosphere of this Inn and am happy I stayed there, wish I could have stayed longer but had to fly home the next day. My wife and I stayed for 7 days. The place had the feel of an old European Inn or Bed and Breakfast. The owner and staff could not have been nicer or more helpful, The location was great, a very sweet neighborhood. Walking distance to restaurants, a grocery and drug store, and a book shop on Peachtree. Motels in the same area were 30-40 percent higher […] than the rate we paid. The rooms were spacious, very comfortable and clean. Morning coffee on a wrought iron patio outside our room. So what is the catch? If you are used to high end, generic motels-- this place may not fit the bill, But we found it really charming and a nice break from the sterile feel of many motel chains. This hotel was very different from any hotel I been to.I felt safe ,this was the first hotel I went sleep in I love this history of it the rooms are huge and beautiful.I felt like I was home in my own room.The people were nice and helpful and I enjoyed my stay I didn't want to leave.

I did not get it... I think the idea of this boutique hotel was to bring guests back about 50 years. Instead, the hotel felt run down and low end. Wonderful hotel. We would have enjoyed our stay alot more if we had understood what we was going to. Very high end area of Atlanta, your room is full of 1930's/40's furniture and lithographs that are from the same period. The rooms are clean and the staff want to please you. Simple breakfast is provided, one soda machine (which didn't work when I was there), no ice machines or a frig in your room. Prepare for those things and you will have a very rare treat of a motel room. Just up the road is a grocery store, a drug store and several resturants, Johnny's pizza delivers there as well as a Joe's southwestern less than a block away. The wireless internet is very strong. Great experience in a vintage hotel. No paranormal activity experienced - all though there were lots of lady bugs that came in from open balcony window.

This Inn will be our place to stay whenever in Atlanta. The building was built in 1929 and so shows some signs of age but the rooms are clean and comfortable. Each suite has a different theme, we have stayed in two rooms here. The rooms are large with kitchenettes, breakfast table, desk, sitting area and balcony. Great little friendly hotel, got greeted like one of the family! Cleaning staff super friendly too. Furniture in the hotel is a bit outdated but it did not bother me, but if modern looking is your thing then this is not for you. This may not be a place for everyone, BUT if you want a charming, heart-warming place that is "off the beaten path" then I recommend. The Innkeepers were all so friendly and helpful. As as someone who travels a lot, it was nice to stay in some place different than your average hotel. It's an older building, but well maintained. The balconies are adorable […] & most importantly-- it's clean and in a safe, nice neighborhood that is very convenient (within walking distance) to everything I needed; restaurants, shops, grocery store, etc. If & when I return, I look forward to staying there again. I felt I was robbed at the beginning. The advertisement of the hotel was a lie. Upon coming to the place it was not what was mentioned (false advertisement). The room was not clean, the area was spooky, TV was not working, people were not friendly type. Did not know what was going on. No breakfast, wake up call. Not recommended by me.

As long as you understand that this hotel is much more like an inn, you'll enjoy it's simplicity. My room had an incredibly comfortable bed, and a cute little sitting area. I was glad to have free WiFi in my room, but I only had access to one outlet to charge my computer and phone - and it was in the bathroom. We really enjoyed our stay at the Beverly Hills Inn....its a very charming, older building, lots of unique furniture and pretty antiques. Our room and bed were very comfortable, service was great....we would stay here again!

Located a half block from Peachtree Road NE in Buckhead, the Beverly Hills Inn was originally a home for widows (war widows I assume) Built 70+ years ago, it is furnished with nice antiques and has the original hardwood floors. The suites have 2 bedrooms and are very spacious and quite. Rooms are clean, bathrooms functional and my suite had a kitchette […] and walk-in closet. The king bed was comfortable. Continental breakfast is served from 7:15 with newspapers and the morning news on the TV. The staff is accomodating and friendly but not intrusive. I stayed on the top (3rd) floor so I can't tell you if a "heavy foot" could be heard through the ceiling. It is more of a bed and breakfast than hotel. The neighborhood is safe for walking around. It is convenient to downtown, shopping and restaurants. It is good for business or leisure travel, a night or long weekend. If you want something different, I recommend trying it out. Mehr

This older building was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking in the back of the hotel was a blessing. Breakfast was bagels, English muffins, cream cheese, orange juice, coffee and cereal, with some sweet rolls.

Hotel is very old, will benefit from a face lift but otherwise clean and conveniently located. Rooms are big, staff is nice and breakfast is good.

It was like a bed and breakfast, it is old but cool. Can't beat the local . People were very nice. Things to know... 4 stories no elevator, I was on 3rd floor, no problem for me but . Pluming is old too so be patient and Enjoy.

We stayed in this hotel due to its proximity to the restaurant and bar we were planning on going to. It was so nice to be able to walk back from the bar (Fado Irish Pub) in a city that is so spread out. Had a beautiful suite on the second floor! Tastefully decorated; and luxurious ! The staff was excellent and catered to my every whim! The only drawback was being in an older inn there were not as many electrical outlets as one might need; and in my suite the one in the bath did not work. Very comparable rates to the surrounding hotels in the area and The Beverly Hills is very centrally located to all of Buckhead and Atlanta! Stayed here during my husbands eye surgery. Convenient location, great staff, comfortable accommodations. We will definitely stay there again.

Was perfect for our girls' night away. The owners were over the top friendly and the hotel is located in a great area. Highly recommend!

My wife and I were traveling cross country and need some place to stop in the middle. I found this nice little B&B just outside of the main strip of Atlanta's downtown. My wife and I love B & B's. We recently went to Atlanta for the Chic Fil A Bowl and didn't want to have stay in a regular hotel. The Beverly Hills Inn was perfect for our weekend get away. It has a rich history and the rooms were classic. I had even called ahead and requested a bottle of wine and there it sat when we arrived to our room. The Buckhead […] area of Atlanta is great with shopping and dining all around. I would recommend this B & B to all who enjoy history and culture. Thanks Beverly Hills Inn for a great time. The rooms are a little dated with some of the fixtures, but they were spacious and the owner and management were very nice and accommodating. I will book the same place every time i go back to atlanta!!!!

The hotel, built in 1929, is all suites, very clean, very quiet. Beds are very comfortable. "modern amenities" are mostly lacking. There is no pool, hot tub, exercise room or elevator. They have free wifi, but remember to bring a long extension cord with multiple sockets if you plan to use or recharge personal electronic devices because the few wall […] plugs are not conveniently placed. We selected BHI primarily because it is close to Piedmont Hospital and we needed a place to sleep while a family member was a patient there. BHI beat all the alternatives hands down, costs less, and delivered much more than expected. We highly recommend it to anyone with business in Buckhead. Mehr

This place is in a great location. The property is clean, and well managed. The rooms are a little funky, but hey, the price was right, the shower was great, good towels and an interesting assortment of guests. I definately would recommend this property.
