Das Hotel ist echt sauber und komfortabel eingerrichtet. Die Zimmer verfügen über einen Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle. Die Lage ist ziemlich gut da Restaurants und Supermärkte in der Nähe sind. Der Service ist gut und freundlich. Und bis zum Okanagon Lake sind es mit dem Auto knappe 10 Minuten. Man kann also sagen, dass man eine Unterkunft zu einem fairen Preis bekommt!

Man fährt weit, bis man dort ist. Dann ist man aber in einem tollen Hotel mit sehr schönen Zimmern. Lediglich ein paar bezahlbare Restaurants in der Nähe fehlen. Mag aber im Winter beim Skifahren anders sein.

gepflegtes Hotel mit direkt angrenzender gemütlicher Gastronomie. Komfortable Zimmereinrichtung, allerdings keine Minibar. Direkt am Highway 97, aber absolut gute Schallisolierung und leistungsfähige Klimaanlage. Guter schlafkomfort auch für den empfindlichen Rücken. 1 deutscher TV-Sender verfügbar. Großer indoor/outdoor Pool, Whirlpool und Fitnessraum vorhanden. Alles sehr sauber und ordentlich.

We enjoyed the room; it was clean, comfy and bright. Unfortunately the hotel does not provide robes for guests for the pool/hot tub or free ice. We tried to use the coffee maker on the morning that we were checking out (didn't use it the day before) only to find that it did not work. When we told the front desk that we had a long drive home and would […] like coffee before we go he said he'd tell housekeeping. When no coffee maker arrived after 45 mins we left our room to check out. Housekeeping was making their rounds and asked if we were checking out and when we said yes they said sorry about the coffee maker not working.....no mention that they were even going to replace it. "Just far enough from the city, so quiet"
We just stayed one night, but enjoyed a cozy room that was very quiet. It was off season, we only saw one other couple in one of the hot tubs. Nice widy country road up to it as well.

"Lake Okanagan Resort - Nice staff; peaceful place"
In a nutshell, this place is your no-frills getaway. Take it for what it is: a peaceful hangout by the lake to swim, go boating, play tennis or golf. If you're accustomed to 5 star amenities, this is not the place. Regardless, the rooms were clean, had creature comforts (kitchenette, small living room, private balcony), and the views of the lake were […] fantastic. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Free WiFi was a nice bonus. Location is ~20 km from downtown Kelowna, so get accustomed to driving if you need to head into town for stuff. The suite was very home-like and comforting. "Its gone down hill"
I have stayed at Lake Okanagan Resort many times over the past 20 years, and I have never known it to be this poorly maintained. The room smelled like mould. We put the couch cushions outside to be aired out. (that helped a bit) the shower curtain was discusting, mouldy dirty etc. The room had not been vacuumed after the last visitor. The dishes were […] put back into the cupboard dirty. I would rate this resort a "2" not a "3" as Hotel.com suggests. Sad that they have let things slip so much as it is one of the most beautiful locations in the Okanagan. Mehr
"Lake Okanagan Resort Off Season"
Late October stay 2 nights in 1 bedroom. Road to resort windy and narrow - scary at times. Don't tackle after dark the first time. Resort is built into side of hill so not handicap friendly to get around. Location and views are great. Renovations under way. Food service is limited off season. Rooms older but comfortable. "Okanagan Resort Hotel"
The twenty minute drive to the resort is on a road which was very windy and scary, especially after dark. To access the lake and the pools you had to climb many stairs or slopes as the resort sits on the side of the mountain. If we had known that it was so difficult to get to the pool or lake, we would have stayed somewhere else. Our room was comfortable, […] but the room service was below par. "Good place for families not much to do tho"
We moved after the first night, too many moths in the corridor (not joking) the room tho was clean and comfortable, in fact it was everything they said, we did upgrade to an amazing room with not too much of a veiw but some. "Nice resort to stay at."
Very nice room, quiet and clean, bed was probably one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on. Didn't have much of a view from our deck but if you want to view resort and lake it was easy and convenient to get out and walk around.
"Not as advertised"
The hotel was not as advertised. The rooms were quite old and in need of remodeling. The web indicated something quite a bit newer. In addition, there were several features listed which were not in place at the facility. The pool areas were good and well kept and the beach was good.

"Construction over our room"
Constuction over our room starting at 9:00, very noisy. Lower level of the hotel with very difficult access (stairs on construction). Looks like a hotel from the 70's that claims for renovations NOW. Very disappointed...
"Lake Okakagan Resort"
We arrived on a Sunday, the room we were assigned had a lake view so we asked for an upgrade to lake front and were accomodated for an extra low cost, we had a grat evening, we dined at the restaurant, the food was great, then enjoyed a glass of wine while relaxing on the balcony overlooking the lake, there are some upgrades going on at present so there […] was some construction equipment on the lake shore but for the price, we just looked past it, it was quiet and comfortable, the hotel could use a few updates and I understand those are in the works, all in all, we would definitely stay there again, thanks. "Good for the price"
We stayed in the older part of the hotel. It has been updated but you can still tell it's older. Good prices though. Cleanliness of bathroom on so so but the room was comfortable. We had to move after first night though as they were doing the roof in the morning on the building our first room was in. Second room was also older but updated and in the […] lakeside 1 building. It's showing it's age. Beautiful area but needs a total makeover. I appreciate rustic but it's time to put some money into this place.

"Scary Access"
If you plan to stay at the resort and not really travel then this is a lovely location .. the road to access it is rather terrifying after dark.

"Stunning location"
Driving to this resort from the highway is an experience that is not easily forgotten, give yourself plenty of time and enjoy the views but go slow. When you arrive the views are stunning the room was really large and very clean. My daughter was thrilled with the elephant folded towel on the bed a nice touch in a reasonably priced hotel. We stayed in […] the low season and where pleasantly surprised how well we were looked after. The onsite restaurant is really good and reasonably priced with awesome views over the lake. There is an outdoor pool and hot tub, great relaxation after a hard travel and a nice start to the day as well. We were sorry that we were only here for one night, we had deer at the door well within 6 feet of it. Really a hidden gem that we shall defiantely return to. Highly recommded. Mehr

"Outdated, overpriced"
Dont stay here. We really aren't high maintenance clients, but this place is seriously overpriced and outdated. Do yourselves a favour, don't stay here.
"Horrible Service"
I was very disappointed with my stay at Lake Okanagan Resort. The facility has a lot of potential and seems that it was a nice resort when it was first built, but it is very run down now. The whole facility not only needs paint and other improvements, but the hotel service/management was very inadequate. My husband and I complained the first day that […] we were there about a couple bats that had made a home in our stairwell. We were told they would not hurt us and to basically deal with it. The next day, the bats moved to right outside of our door, and my husband chased them away. They continued to return, with one actually taking up residence inside of our doorwell. We requested to be moved then, and we were given quite a bit of hassle. They first sent the maintenance man to talk us out of it, and when we kept demanding to be moved, they finally did move us. However, they moved us to a more expensive room and required that we pay the difference. I was quite upset with most everything about this hotel. Mehr
