My husband and I stayed at the Prince Resort over New Year's Weekend, and were greatly pleased with the entire stay. We have visited there many times, and will continue to make the Prince Resort our first choice. The hotel is clean, modern, and service is excellent. positives: very nice room w/ great views (18th floor), nice pool with lazy river. Comfortable room with good ammenities. negatives: we found parking for this resort to be rather annoying and we felt there are not enough elevators, especially if you are located in a room on one of the upper floors (which we were, 18th floor). You waste allot of time […] "waiting" for the elevator. lastly, we felt that it was a little pricey. But overall I would probably recommend it and stay there again, especially if we could find a better rate. Mehr

arrived at hotel 4:30, there was no where to park for registration. Had to circle several times finally went to building 2 and parked, walked across street to check in. Employee at the facility was driving around parking garage literally flying without regard that small children were present. After we checked in, we could not find a luggage cart. The […] same employee on the golf cart said we would have to go across street to find cart. After we got to the room, in the bathroom, there was black hair on floor. I called staff to report, they came to clean. As we were leaving, the a/c was at 77, we turned down to 70 and left. We came back about 2 hrs later, it was still at 77. We called to report they sent maintenance up to repair. Never did get cooler, so they did give us another room. The other room was better. As far as housekeeping, they never once vacuumed the floors or cleaned bathroom floor. I deliberately left white string on floor, it was never removed. I kept the room cleaned, towels picked up and swept the floor to remove crumbs that were never vacuumed up. This is the second year that we have stayed at this resort and will be my last. Never once did anyone ask if everything was ok or if we needed anything or if that room was any better. Mehr

Loved this place. Would recommend this place to anyone. Great Location! Room very clean. Felt safe in the parking deck. Great Place.

Great for us to be right on the beach and the pier for fishing. Staff is very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that the living room carpet needed replaced; otherwise, rooms were neat, clean and well-kept. Plan to stay there next year.

Easy to make reservations. Needed peace and quiet so resort was perfect for us. Comfortable, clean and quiet. Only go to the beach in the offseason-Prince maintains its standards for those of us who don't appreciate the hordes! Two sliding glass doors-one in the living room, one in the master bedroom. Ample patio for comfortable sitting. Watched sunrises […] without getting out of bed!! Great location for our needs. Will plan to return! Mehr

It was awesome. It was more than I expected. The view was wonderful. I loved the full size kitchen and the washer/dryer made it so convenient. We will surely come back to this hotel.

The room itself was nice. It was slightly smaller than expected, but it was clean and spacious enough for one night. The view from our balcony was beautiful. The pull out couch was really a two seater, and the bed was very small (somewhere between a twin and a double sized bed). Luckily we were putting children there so it was sufficient. They would […] have been uncomfortable if we were planning to stay at this location for the full week though. The hotel itself was very dirty. The hallways were disgusting. The elevators and parking garage were dingy. The ocean front building seemed to be better maintained than the building across the street where we were located. Mehr

The hotel, once you find the unmarked lobby on the second floor, is okay for a couple getaway. I would not bring my kids. The pools were very small, though the beach wasn't very crowded. The hotel isn't in walking distance to anything. Our room was nice, and had a great view. I recomend a corner room on the second tower. Although, we loved the hotel, it was a distance away from the main attractions. We had to give ourselves time to get wherever we wanted to go, when we left the hotel. We still had fun, and considered it an adventure. The beach is secluded and the hotels are spaced out just enough where the beach wasn't crowded. We loved it.

Its less crowded then myrtle beach but totally relaxing . The room was huge and more then we expected . I ordered rose pedals for our bedroom and it was beautiful. cant wait to go again. We live in NJ and for what we paid we would have been 5 or 6 blocks off the beach on the Jersey coast

The hotel was nicely decorated and has two good restaurants on site. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay again in the future. The only negative thing was that we were lacking a shower curtain but a quick call to the front desk and they brought one right up. The location is within walking distance to several restaurants but have to […] drive atleast fifteen minutes if you want to see attractions. Mehr

Our rooms were across the street above the parking deck - the directions we received from the front desk was that we were across the street - we found our parking but had no idea how to get to the hotel - we asked a guest getting off the elevator who informed us the elevator from the parking deck also took us to our room. My only complaint.

Staff was very friendly

We enjoyed our stay. It was directly in front of Cherry Grove Pier. Loved the pools and hot tub.

We enjoyed the view from our room and everything was very very clean and ready for us. ONLY one night people were checking in after midnight and were VERY LOUD but other than that we had a great time. Thank you for the professional way of serving us as elderly people.

We recentlly stayed at the prince resort in cherry grove nc. When we booked our room we went thinking that we had an oceanfront room instead we were put at the second hotel behind the 1st where our ocean view was blocked with a lazy river and kiddie pool right outside our window - you could see the ocean- almost if you stood on your tiptoes are looked […] through the railing surrounding the pool.Then to top it off the master bedroom faced the interior hallway leading to the pool where bright lights were on ALL night and the curtains weren't big enough to fully cover the windows - our room was so bright in the middle of the night I could have read a book.Appliances were broken and some strange sticky stuff was on our wall. When asked about changing rooms we were told that they were full however the hotel appeared to be 1/2 empty. For the price we paid could have stayed somewhere eles much nicer - Mehr

I have visited Myrtle Beach a number of times before, but this time was the exception. I had such a great time. The resort was fantastic. It was like a small apartment. I loved everything about it. We were VERY happy with our stay at the Prince Resort. Spacious room overlooking the Cherry Grove Pier was a perfect getaway with a perfect view! The room was a great size and had extras that were a wonderful surprise! We loved the kitchen complete with a hidden apartment sized washer/dryer and the deep garden tub. They didn't seem to be very helpful when suggesting a place to eat. We were very surprised to find that the pier restaurant was closed at 7:45pm on a Saturday. We assumed it was because it was windy and raining thus causing a low amount of customers. The hotel's restaurant was closed on Sunday which was disappointing. I was very satisfied with my stay at the Prince Resort. Everyone was nice and the room was very nice, and it was a good location. I would recommend this resort to anyone.

Hotel was exactly as pictured on website. It exceeded my expectations. I booked a 2BR/2BA Oceanview suite. When I checked in I was given a 3BR suite at no extra charge. Hotel had a heated lazy river, which was great for the kids because the weather was cool as well as 2 hot tubs. All rooms were extremely clean and quiet. No smoking was a plus. It was […] nice to walk in a room or walk down the hall and not smell cigarettes. Hotel located in a quiet area of town but just minutes from everything. We stayed across the street from the ocean but the whole building has an unobstructed view of the ocean because there is nothing but a sand parking lot for the pier between the building we stayed in and the beach. The Cherry Grove Pier is right across the street. Hotel did not tolerate people running up and down the hallway being loud so that was a plus. There rules stated that quiet hours were from 11pm - 7am and were strictly enforced. Security guards constantly walking around parking deck so felt safe knowing that someone was watching my vehicle.
