Für den Preis auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. Freundlicher Empfang, sauberes Zimmer, was will man mehr. Die Lage ist ganz gut, kurzer Weg zum Strand. Man sollte Corpus Christi nur nicht außerhalb der Saison besuchen.

Unser Aufenthalt im Microtel war entspannt und geprägt durch den sehr positiven Eindruck den das Hotel bei uns hinterließ. Die Zimmer waren sauber, der Aussenpoolbereich war sehr gut und in der Lobby gab es zwei Internet PC´s für die Gäste. Das Frühstück war okay und so können wir die Location jedem empfehlen.
Lage
Sun Suites Of Corpus Christi liegt in Corpus Christi in der Nähe von: La Palmera Mall, Einkaufszentrum und Sunrise Mall. Zu den weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten der Umgebung gehören: Corpus Christi Botanical Gardens and Nature Center und Corpus Christi Marina.

"Perfect!"
For a 2 star hotel I give it 5 stars. Room was nice and clean, no complaints. Cold water didn't work in the shower (much better than hot not working), but when I told the manager he had the cartridge changed immediately, fixing the problem. Great staff and service. I'll be staying there every time I'm in the area.

Reasonably priced but neighbors are noisy. Difficult to sleep.

The room smelled like mold (we had to go but candles and frebreeze The TV was so small ad out dated we watched tv on our laptop None of the channels worked and the remote cut out 2 hrs in Front desk people where cool though
"not too bad.."
was looking for a hotel on a last minute basis during spring break, too bad i couldnt get it closer to port aransas because i just wanted to go fishing, but it was the closest i could get without breaking my wallet. it was reasonably priced for what we got, i liked the fact they had a small kitchen so we could have cooked something if we had wanted […] to. i would stay again if i wanted to stay in corpus christi again.. but then again.. im just not that big of a fan on corpus christi.. "Sun Suites-cheap stay you get what you pay for"
We have stayed here many times, and the quality of the hotel has gone down. Had we not been on a tight budget I would have changed hotels. The staff at the front office was nice, but the maintenance and housekeeping were not. Dirty bedding, cockroaches, and no pots and pans. Not to mention the loud tenants and the phone that didnt work. Well the Dark Black Hair that was on my bath towel really brought this rating and experience down, my friend took a pic and posted on his facebook page, and I posted one on mine, at least I had an interesting story for the Holidays.

"Not bad for my first Hotel"
Being this was my first hotel stay, and the fact that I booked it online, site unseen, I didn't expect much. However, this hotel was far better than I'd figured, and the price was fair. I've worked in house keeping at a resort, and cleaned both older rooms and brand new ones. That said, this room was obviously somewhat older and had seen some use. Nevertheless, […] it was clean and comfortable, and the only evidence of wear was to the bathtub drain. Not a real inconvinience. The range was a nice touch, though I can't see myself booking a hotel in a neighboring state, then bringing along my pots and pans. But it was there if I wanted it. The road ways leading to the hotel were not the best, but I am unfamiliar with Corpus Christi, as it was my first visit. There were plenty of businesses within walking distance of said hotel, which is added convinience. Overall, my wife and I enjoyed the stay. The sole gripe we had was with a drunken neighbor, who ran his truck at our window for 3 hours. Not really the hotel's fault, I guess. Mehr

The stay for the money was great, other than someone leaving the refridgerator open a little causing water to accumalate on floor and there was no remote for the tv. I would stay again

Good location and neighborhood but didn't like the fact that u can hear everything from next door and they wouldn't go in to pick trash or make the bed…didn't like it at all.

The best and most satisfying experience about my stay at Sun Suites was the courteous and very polite attention I received from the Desk Clerk. Her name is Clarissa and she went out of her way to accommodate my needs in finding a room close to the elevator on the second floor. I got a two full size bed they gave me one bed the blankets had stains I had no hot water
When we complained about the frig not working they didnt fix it, The coffee pot was dirty when we arrived, no dish rag, towel or soap to clean the diahes with. we had one bath towel and one wash rag per person for a 5 day stay.We didnt feel we really got any response on our complaints.

"SunSuites Corpus Christi on Oakhurst"
Positives: location to where we wanted to be, we had 2 rooms paid in advance but did not have any so they gave us an extra room to split people which was good, and we only slept there. Negatives: No pool, rooms had a smell of insecticide, one room had roaches in their fridge, no room service during week so had to get towels ourselves, and one had a […] broken phone. Mehr

Kitchen and chairs had not been cleaned in quite a while. Other than this roomwas ok for the price. No major complaints. Was unable to get a ground floor room or a room close to others in our party.

When we pulled up, the hotel looked decent enough, so we thre our bags in and went to see the sights. When we returned after dark, we came back to roaches of all sizes that seemed to invade us at one time. Double digits of baby roaches in the bathroom. 2 big ones in the kitchenette, one on the bed, and two on the walls and ceiling. After that, we refused […] to stay. We felt as if things we crawling on us. Luckily, I had booked through hotels.com, so they got our hotel refunded to us right away. "Creepy"
I stayed at the Sun Suites last weekend and when I first went into the room I was impressed. it had a kitchenette with newer appliances. Then later on at night I started hearing "creepy" things. The water in the bathroom sounded like it was constantly running, and the bathroom door wouldnt stay closed so it creaked the entire night. I was disgusted […] about the fact the post all these "rules" yet my neighbors were breaking them and no one would do a thing about it. I very much enjoyed my stay for 2 nights at this accomadation. The price was great and it was clean and quite. The staff was very accomodating, and the manager was so friendly!

For the price it is good. The beds were clean as was the bathroom. There were M&M's on the floor and crumbs in the kitchen chairs. If they would do some upgrading every year it would keep this motel up tp par. We have stayed there the last three years and have seen a decline each time we have come back. Also we asked to have our rooms close to each […] other and they put us on opposite side of the motel. location was good, close to everything. i got this one, because i wanted the kitchenette, but the refridgerator wasn't working, there's a limit on a towel. i coulda got a better room for the same price. no swimming pool.

the shower curtain looked like it had never been washed or replaced. there were dark brown stains all over it and although you could tell it was once white it was now turning yellow. the cabinets were falling off and the stove top was also dirty

ths hotel should not be called sun suites. i stay at the one in dallas and plano. all very good. this one sucked and had roaches... i should have went somewhere else!

This is an extended stay hotel... not bad on weekend rates.... The only thing that bothered me was the P-tac air conditioning unit in combination with high winds on the 3rd floor.... because the A/C fan only runs when the cooling is on, I was awoken several times in the night from loud noises similar to tornadoes... Maybe its just me.... But other hotels […] A/C unit fans run constantly and cycle the compressor when needed... Not as alarming in the middle of the night... We found that the location was not right for us, though it was convenient to all sorts of shopping from big box retailers to grocery stores. We wanted to be closer to the downtown activities, so this was not a good choice for us. It was nice to have a full size coffee maker and fridge, though.

"dirty smelly"
carpet is extrememly dirty. nonsmoking room stunk like smoke. no cooking utensils. beds hard and uncomfortable. only 1 kitchen chair.
"Outstanding"
I definitively recomend this hotel because it is clean, is very easy to get from and to the highway, there's privacy, and the room is equiped with everything you might need... And most important is very economic. So , for the price I paid, i'm very happy to have choosen you. Thank you again.

"Sun Hotel- not what you'd expect- or maybe it is.."
There was a bag of pills in the top drawer where the phone book should have been. The desk clerk had the cleaning lady come in to make our bed to make up for our trouble.... no one even apologized!

"Decent basics for the price - I will stay again"
For the price you receive basics, plenty of room and pleasant office staff. The bedding needs to be updated - holes in the blankets and bedspreads. Pillows very comfortable. On this stay I was on the 3rd floor, having A/C in the elevator would help in the summer months. There was an issue with my stay however the Regional Manager called me personally […] and it has been resolved - that's a testiment to customer satisfaction! :o) Mehr

Not horrible, but not nice. Not bad enough to change rooms or complain, but would have liked a little more cleaning.
