Für den Preis auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. Freundlicher Empfang, sauberes Zimmer, was will man mehr. Die Lage ist ganz gut, kurzer Weg zum Strand. Man sollte Corpus Christi nur nicht außerhalb der Saison besuchen.

Unser Aufenthalt im Microtel war entspannt und geprägt durch den sehr positiven Eindruck den das Hotel bei uns hinterließ. Die Zimmer waren sauber, der Aussenpoolbereich war sehr gut und in der Lobby gab es zwei Internet PC´s für die Gäste. Das Frühstück war okay und so können wir die Location jedem empfehlen.

"Close to Beach!!"
The location was nice. The smell of the room could have been better. It smelled like someone cooked fish and left a scent

Room was clean. Staff was courteous and professional. You just have to walk across a parking lot to get to the beach, which we were fine with. It was also nice that there was a fridge and stove in the room. In the evening, there was a Tiki Bar with live music at the hotel across the street. The definition of a "clean" hotel room at the Texas coast can be quite subjective, so I try to keep my expectations low, but this one was definitely cleaner than most. "Across the road from the beach with a great price."
Our stay was for 3 nights, including the weekend. Even though we weren't directly on the beach, we saved so much money & only had to walk across the road to the beach. Our room was clean & the hotel staff was always available. I can't believe that we had a complete kitchenette for the price we paid, what a bargain!! "Great Location For A Great Price"
If you want to save money and don't mind walking accross the street (literally) to get to the beach then stay here. The hotel accross the street was twice as much as this property so I was happy to save the money for a little bit of exercise. Staff was very nice and the room was clean. They are good at what they do.
"Cool Rooms - Hot Public Areas"
Our room was clean and comfortable. Our big complaint was that all the public areas were hot and uncomfortable - the halls, the breakfast area, and the elevators. I'm guessing that the manager was such a cheapskate that he turned off all the A/C in the public areas when he was on duty (which was most of the time). We did notice that when he was away […] all the public areas were nice and cool. When we checked in on a Friday evening the manager was the only one working and he was on the phone. We waited almost 10 minutes before he finally excused himself from the conversation to check us in. "Great hotel!"
We chose this hotel for the amenities and the price... good choice. Room was clean, breakfast was great, and the location was awesome! It's a few minute drive back into town to the mall and restaurants, but it was well worth it. Our view of the ocean was awesome and the neighborhood was quiet.
"a comfortable stay in a great Gulf shore location"
OUr room was spotless and the furnishings comfortable and pleasant. The complementary breakfast was more than adequate. But the best thing is the location: a short drive to Padre Island National Seashore, a shorter drive (or long beach walk) to Bob Hall Pier, and a half block walk to a lovely beach. And really bargain prices!!

Went for a quick 5 day monday-Friday getaway. Hotel was on N Padre Island and enough away from the traffic but close to things to do and see. The beach was just across the street and totally accessable from the hotel. Our room was quiet and clean. Everything was in good working order. Breakfast was ok but no meat such as sausage bisquits or fruit. Could […] have been better. Loved the walk-in shower as compared to the small tub showers that are usually in hotels. Breakfast was good. Hotel was 20 minutes away from Texas A & M. Good, quiet location. 1 computer for use in lab. Was not the "suite" I thought it would be. The bed, kitchen were all in one normal sized room. From the pictures, I thought the bed would be separate from the living area (wanted to put our baby in an area away from the main bed). Excellent location with gulf beach across the street. The rooms and common areas were clean and no discernable odor of any kind. Rooms were well appointed and updated. It was an excellent value. All staff provided meticulous service.

The hotel is a quiet, secluded, enjoyable place on the "Txan Riviera"--North Padre Island, Corpus Christi, TX. I enjoyed my stay there for a few nights due to its cleseness to the ocean and combed beach shared with Holidays Inn across from Wyndham. The hotel is very well maintained and has complimentary breakfast. This place is far far from downtown, almost 20 miles. If you want to be close to the city then this is definitely not the place. Great location if you like being out a little ways. Close to ocean, nice places to walk and ride bikes. This motel has great rates if you can plan ahead.

This is one of the nicest hotels on the island. Its a short drive into Corpus. We loved the bed, so comfortable and the whole place was very quiet. "Close to fishing pier and beaches"
The staff were very friendly and courteous. We enjoyed a full breakfast with eggs and sausage and even received a free room upgrade. The bed was clean and comforable as was the room temperature. "Disappointed"
I was disappointed to find that the advertised pool was the next door hotel's pool. the lobby door was very small and you had to navigate around tight corrners with your bags. There are no restaurants in walking distance of the hotel.

"Hawthorn Suites Padre Island"
Overall, the room was pretty good. The only drawbacks were a funny smell in the room and the a/c was loud. Also, the breakfast room was very very small and we had a hard time getting a table. Other than those minor items, it was a good stay.

"Great place to stay if you love the beach"
The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, etc was great to help save money and not eat out so much. The hotel is in a great location if you love to spend most of your time at the beach. It was a great stay for my family and I overall and I would stay here again and also I would recommend this hotel.

The quality of the property seems to have dropped over the last 2 months. Little things in the rooms and hallways are not cleaned. I stay there weekly and I've noticed the maintenance is dropping. The morning coffee is usually just colored water without much taste, the computer for consumers in the lobby is so slow I spent 20 minutes and could not log […] into to the internet. This week the OJ machine didn't work. They offer tea in the morning but usually don't have hot water to go with it. Mehr

The hotel was acceptable and worth what we paid but it definately wasn't the best kept hotel compared to all the other hotels in close situation. It is very close to the beach which is great. The continental breakfast isn't the greatest but it was sufficient. The business office isn't an office at all and you have no privacy while on the computer. The […] halls of the hotel smell bad and are very hot and muggy. The elevator takes forever to opperate. friendly staff, check-in was fast, and accurate. Room was one Queen bed, full kitchen, terrific view of ocean.Pool/hot-tub used next door, and across the street, Holiday Inn, beach side bar. hotel was within easy drive of city. Bed comfortable, no noise from other guests, shower hot water. only thing we noticed, one chair had some water marks on it, […] and a little paint on some of the walls was needed. Breakfast was standard for that kind of hotel. We would stay here again, and recommend it to anyone going to N. Padre Island. We give it 4 1/2 stars out of five Mehr
