"Günstiges Hotel an der Freemont Street"Bewertet von einem Hotels.com Gast am 29. Apr. 2012
Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer mit toller Aussicht, ruhig und doch sehr zentral gelegen. Das Hotel war sauber und ordentlich, leider wurde bei unseren 2 Übernachtungen nach der ersten Nacht wohl vergessen unser Zimmer zu reinigen, ok gibt schlimmeres, man kann ja die Handtücher auch 2x benutzen und da man in Vegas eh erst spät zurück ins Zimmer kommt, gehts halt mal in ein ungemachtes Bett. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel wird zur Zeit umgebaut, wir haben davon aber nichts mitbekommen, das Zimmer war schön ruhig. Da man direkt in der Freemont Street wohnt, kann man, sofern man nicht auf den Vegas Strip möchte, sein Auto stehen lassen und auch mal ein paar Drinks mehr zu sich nehmen. Die Freemont Street hat sich noch ein wenig den ursprünglichen Charme und Charakter von Vegas erhalten, es gibt hier sogar noch einige Casinos, wo man noch mit Münzen in den Slotmachines spielen kann. Wer mehr als nur 1-2 Nächte in Vegas verbringt, sollte sich diesen Teil der Stadt unbedingt auch mal anschauen, es lohnt sich. Wir würden beim nächsten Vegas Aufenthalt in diesem Hote auf jeden Fall wieder übernachten

DAs Hotel hatte Top-Zimmer und kostenlose Parkplätze. Wir waren unter der Woche dort. An den Wochenenden geht hier die Post ab. Die Swimming-Pools waren auch spitze, nur die Musik war uns persönlich zu laut. Auch im Casino und in der Lobby war es zu stark heruntergekühlt und einfach laut.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Das Hotel wurde vollständig renoviert; alles sehr sauber, freundliches Personal; wir hatten auch das Frühstück gebucht, gute Auswahl und ausreichend, leider muss man auch als Hotelgast nach 8:30 Uhr auf einen freien Tisch etwas warten; bis zum Strip sind es nur ein paar Autominuten; wir können das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

Die Zimmer im Hotel sind ausgesprochen schön - sehr großzügig mit durch Stufen separiertem Schlaf- und Wohnberich. Die Einrichtung ist auf sehr hohem Niveau, genau so wie man es in einem 5 Sterne Hotel erwarten darf. Das Personal am Check In ausgesprochen freundlich. Im Zimmer ist auch ein kleiner Arbeitsplatz eingerichtet mit Drucker und Fax. Für den […] Internetzugang im Zimmer muss man jedoch sein eigenes Laptop dabei haben. Alternativ gibt es leider nur die Möglichkeit, in der Lobby oder im Businesscenter des Hotels für wirklich teures Geld ins Internet zu kommen - das hat mich dann doch sehr gestört, da in anderen Hotels in den USA ein kostenloser Internetzugang mit ebenso kostenlosem Drucker in der Lobby mittlerweile üblich sind. Das Angebot des Casinos und der Geschäfte sind zahlreich, was allerdings auch ggf. den Nachteil hat, dass die Wege im Hotel sehr lang sind. Für meine fast 80-jährige Mutter waren diese Wege zum Teil doch zu lang, zumal man auch gerne Gefahr läuft, sich zu verirren. Mein Rat ist es daher, weder mit zu jungen noch mit zu alten Gästen dort zu residieren. Ansonsten jedoch kann man das Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen - und die dort gastierende Blue Man Group ist auch auf jeden Fall sehr sehenswert! Mehr

My wife booked The Palazzo for my 70th birthday. We had never stayed at this hotel, but would go back at anytime. The hotel is immaculate and the help is outstanding. Our room was one of the nicest we have ever stayed in.

Stay was great. We slept in the first morning and it was comfortable. No turn down service though. Been to Vegas a few times, definitely a 4 star hotel, but not 5 star. Best hotel I have stayed in Vegas, but have stayed in better around the world. Overall, really good, the Bella suit is perfect for 3 guys. No complaints, happy in the end. Go to Tao […] in the veniecian, it rocked!!! Cut was pretty good too. The one thing that was very nice is they limited the smoking areas in the casino. I'm a smoker, hate smoking inside and really appreciated this. Would totally return. I have yet to truely see a 5 star in Vegas and this came close. Good job Plazzo!!! Mehr

My stay at Palazzo was awesome! The staff were all very nice and helpful from early check in to late check out. Concierge was very nice with accommodations to night clubs. "Below average experience"
I've been to Vegas at least 30 times. I've stayed almost everywhere. This by far was the most underwhelming experience I've had. Thankfully it's attached to the Venetian which offers great restaurants, and shopping, and it's near one of my personal favs The Wynn. Anyway, if you're looking for good service, luxury top end style and decor, great pool […] scene, etc... I suggest you look elsewhere. Mehr

I travel to Las Vegas for conventions at least once per year and have stayed at pretty much all of the hotels on the strip, I would say the Palazzo is the very best hotel I have stayed at. The room was huge and the view is outstanding. Every conveience is covered, from toiletries you may need to a printer/ fax machine in the room. Check in was a breeze […] and the staff was extremely friendly and always addresses you by your name. The location could not have been better since the Sands Convention Center was connected to the hotel, I never even had to leave the building unless I wanted to. Mehr

So much space in the room. The lay out is great and so comfortable. Only problem is it's Vegas and when do you really spend that much time in the room. Our get a way was a romantic one, so spending more time in the room worked really nice. First time staying at the Palazzo, wouldn't hesitate to come back again!

This hotel is very beautiful....My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are amazing and the hotel staff was very friendly. We will visit this hotel again!!!!
"Amazing suites"
The Palazzo is definitely one of the nicest, classiest hotels in Vegas. We got a free upgrade to an amazing 1,200 sq ft suite, though the standard 600 sq ft suites are also incredible. We'll be back!

"The Palazzo-very nice"
The hotel was wonderful... the group I was with kind of hotel hopped... so out of the 3... The Palazzo was the most elegant... The Planet Rock was a good party place and The Paris was just ok...

Excellent service throughout hotel, very helpful staff and great choice of upscale dining. One of the newer hotels maintained to the highest quality. Large upscale suite rooms. Would stay again.

"The Palazzo at Vegas"
We stayed over the weekend because of my husbands b'day, and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The room, the bed, the bathroom, the casino, the shopping mall at the hotel and across the street, the bars, the restaurants and most of all LAVO! Everyone there was nice to us. It make us feel special. We will be back for sure!!

The rooms were very spacious, modern and comfortable. The pictures on line do not do the rooms justice. The only complaints I have are no coffee pots in the room and the mini bar is weight sensitive so if you move anything, you are charged. There are mini bar items out in the open so if you have young children be careful they do not grab an item or […] you'll be charged. The strip view is very limited. You can see Trump, Treasure Island and the Mirage and the mountains. You will not see a lit up view of the Strip...you may want to save your money. The restaurants in The Palazzo and the neighboring Venitian are excellent. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. Mehr

I had to wait over an hour before my room was ready and then only got my room after calling to complain. For a top hotel charging top prices I expect more.
