Gutes Kettenhotel, normale, saubere Zimmer, relativ großer Pool, Lage verkehrsgünstig, recht ruhig und nah an Mystic Seaport, Restaurants in der Nähe . Für amerikanische Verhältnisse reichhaltiges Frühstück. Fazit: für preisbewusste Reisende sehr zu empfehlen.

The room was clean and comfortable. The only negative comment that I can make was the quality of the sheets used on the bed. They seemed a little rough.

This was our first visit to Foxwoods. The MGM Grand was a beautiful hotel with all of the ammenities you could ever want. The area was under construction so there were a few construction areas but those could be easily overlooked. "Our first stay at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods"
This was our first stay at the MGM. I am handicapped but when I requested a handicapped room I was told there were none. When we got into the room, I was extremely pleasantly surprised to find there was a roll in shower with a built in marble seat. It was wonderful. We ordered in room breakfast both days and it was wonderful. The breakfast was delicious. We […] didn't really care for the rest of the food services in the hotel. We went over to the Foxwood eateries at meal times. We did love the slot machines at the MGM Grand. I played Alice in Wonderland and walked away with over a hundred dollars in earnings. So much fun. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and courteous. My party made a few calls to the front desk for various needs, and were given quick feedback each time. I'm sure they were sick of us, but we couldn't tell. Thank you! We definitely, plan to return next month. This time, we're going to try our hand in gambling!

"MGM stay with kids"
We recently stayed at the MGM for 3 nights due to a power outage in northern CT. The hotel was nice, and I recognize a Casino is not a typical place to take kids, however given the circumstances with the power outages, there were a number of families staying at the hotel. I felt the hotel could have done more to accomodate the families. 1. The pool […] remained over 21 at the MGM grand. We were told we could use another pool, however the pool attendant was overly stringent. She would not allow my wife and three small kids to even use the changing rooms and she did not feel like welcome at the pool. 2. Some of the restrurants were over 21. On a Tues/Wed night, the restrurants at 5:30 pm are empty. Go ahead and open them up to allow kids. Mehr

"MGM Grand at Foxwoods"
Seemingly driving through the backwoods in Kentucky, the MGM hotel suddenly rises out of the trees like the Sphinx from the desert. Driving in, there are no signs directing you to the hotel, so if you don't know where you're going, you'll get no help from street signs, either on 1-95 or Route 2. The hotel itself was impressive, with comfortable rooms […] and a terrific bathroom. The casino allows smoking and it looked -- and smelled -- like downtown L.A. in the 70's. We were there for the entertainment and the theater was spacious with good sight lines, though our seats may have been in New Hampshire. The restaurants were pricey, so bring lots of cash -- or your casino winnings -- if you want to have a steak. Mehr
"needs better beds and TV's"
The bed had a BIG dent in it, when you lay in it you just are in a slant. Need new beds and the chair in the room was rock hard. And the TV was awful. I know when I travel I like to try and feel like I am at home in a hotel and this place was not great. for the amount of money I wasted on this room It was very disappointing. And the view out the window […] was ridiculous, out of the thousands of rooms you have with good views you give me a crap view of the roof. Come on people! Mehr

Great services including free valet parking and luggage service. Not too long wait to check in. Very luxurious rooms - marble bathrooms, enormous shower, phone in the bathroom, flat screen TV's, quiet AC, very comfortable bedding. The only marginal things I can think of is the casino is enormous and hard to navigate for a first time visitor. It was […] almost a 20 minute walk inside of the building to the poker room. Also there is absolutely nothing in the neighborhood besides the hotel and casino. Both of those aren't the Hotel's fault though. The hotel was very clean, and well maintained. The staff at Check In and in the Theater could use a class on "How to be Friendly " to their customers. They were quite rude if you asked them a question. Other members of the staff were quite helpful and pleasant. "Hard to get to from RI"
Very much enjoyed this hotel after we finally got in it. Hard to follow all the signs and there did not appear to be one for the MGM. Apparently we came up on the "wrong"side of hotel. Good bed (Sealy) and pillows. Pool is on level with lobby but you have to trip trap through the casino area to get to it. Good choice of evening restaurants and bars. […] We did mild gambling and stayed in the MGM to do that although there is a lot available in the other hotels and the main casino area. Generally a good time. Mehr

"Beds too soft, Not enough Elevators"
The beds were very comfortable, however I woke up with a really stiff back the next morning. Here I am 3 days later still with back pain. On the day of check out we waited 10 minutes for an elevator because each one that opened was full with other people checking out. We decided to take the stairs, which led us to an emergency exit only on a roof. […] So we had to walk all the way back up! Very frustrating. Mehr

"MGM, "Was It Grand"?"
The MGM Grand was a really great hotel. The Casino did not provide sufficient ventilation when it came to dealing with smokers. While areas were cordoned off for non-smoking guests I felt that it was not sufficient to off-set the smoking smell that permeated the whole floor. I did go to Cedars in Foxwoods to offset the bad experience.
My wife and I attended the Paul Simon concert this past Sunday. We decided to stay over rather than drive back home at night. The only negative which will preclude us from returning to this hotel is the fact that the cigarette smell and smoke effected our throats. We had been in Las Vegas at the Venetian/Pallazzo and played in the casino without having […] any issue with the air quaility. Evidently their HVAC and return air systems are substantially better to handle smoke et al. The casino smells from cigarettes and that should be an issue that you as owners should address. Mehr

OMG the cigarette smoking is bad enough but why do they allow cigars?? I Know it goes with the gambling but the little tiny non smoking section isn't worth it and I think if you stayed too long you'd get cancer. Otherwise it would be awesome

Room was large and comfortable. Elevator system was fast with little wait when button was pushed. Easy access to all casinos.

Service was great except @check in time the guy wasn't that great he didn't give us option like the other front desk agent were doing to other customer and when we told him that what were our options he aswer bk "not many" and then he goes n said hold up,, we have a few option n we told him well i don't think that was necessary, we r not suippos2 tell […] hin how to do his job and after that he didn't even said enjoy the hotel or a good bye,,, But Beside that customer service everywhere was excellent,, and in our room the sheets were rip from the corners n the mini bar was totally warm every single drink was warm. we had a great time!!! "The MGM Grand at Foxwood , Noisy rooms"
We could hear every door slam, toilet flush, conversation, and any other noise around in our room. We were there on a Saturday night so the table minimums were high and the tables were all extremely crowded. The one thing we did like was the shuttle that ran back and forth to the other casino, it was convenient because we ate at the Mexican restaurant […] in Foxwoods. We live only 1 hour away from Atlantic City and we would recommend there a million times over than Foxwoods. Mehr
