Wir hatten ein Superior Zimmer gebucht, das leider schimmlig und sehr dunkel war. Nachdem wir uns beschwert hatten worden wir nicht sehr freundlich behandelt. Zu der Zeit war das Hotel nicht ausgebucht, das man uns gleich ein anderes besseres Zimmer zu einem kleinen Aufpreis hätte anbieten können. Dieses Hotel haben wir für den Beginn unserer Bali Rundreise bereits von zu Hause aus gebucht, da wir uns nach dem ziemlich langen Flug aus Europa, die mühsame Suche nach einem Hotel vor Ort ersparen wollten. Die Lage ist günstig da nicht direkt im sehr lauten Trubel von Kuta gelegen, jedoch auch nicht zu weit entfernt vom öffentlichen Starand und den […] umliegenden Restaurants und Geschäften. Reges Treiben herrscht rundum das Hotel. Also für absolute Ruhesuchende wäre es nicht unbedingt zu empfehlen, da dieses Haus doch sehr hellhörig ist. Der erste Eindruck unserer Unterkunft war positiv. Sauberer Eingangsbereich, großes Zimmer. Wir bekamen ein Zimmer. Deluxe natürlich **Sterne nach balinesischen Vorstellungen. Großes Bad, Klimaanlage, TV u. Blick auf den Pool im Innenhof. Das Frühstück war für diesen Preis passabel. Kleines Frühstückbuffet mit Früchten, Nudeln, Müsli, Nasi- od. Bami Goreng, Toast, Omlette nach eigenem Wunsch im Preis inbegriffen. Der Kafee ist aber auf Bali ein eigenes Thema. Wir empfehlen eine Dose löslichen Kaffee mitzunehmen und eine Tasse heisses Wasser zu bestellen. Derzeit ist der neue Hoteltrakt gerade fertiggestellt worden - die Baufeuchtigkeit steckt noch in den Mauern und alles riecht sehr muffig und modrig - die Feuchtigkeit kriecht schnell in alle Sachen und die Kleidung wird entschprechend "klamm". Das Hotel ist günstig und zentral gelegen. Der Altbau ist ein wenig vernachlässigt, allerdings sauber und der große Garten ist ordentlich gepflegt. Die Hotelangestellte sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend, der Pool macht einen sauberen Eindruck, ich habe ihn allerdings nicht benutzt. We were booked into delux room first night aircon turned off we weren't happy old section of hotel if aircon had worked would have been happy with room. Next morning the minute we said about fixing aircon they upgraded us to the new section separate bath and shower great for short ppl not to have to climb out of bath view of one of the two pools lovely […] music played at pools during day makes for more fun breakfast good each day they cook your eggs the way you like and the rest is self serve. Paid for an upgrade to the more modern building as the old part is well past it's use by date, staff were all pleasant and helpful, but happy hour cocktails appeared to have minimal alcohol content,overall reasonable value for money.

The staff dont understand english. The grounds are extremely run down and outdated. Pool water was warm. Need more variety in breakfast. there is always staff or locals hanging around and you dont know who is who.

The gardens around the hotel are awesome but the staff could have been a bit friendlier, the pools where a bit dirty but not so bad you wouldnt swim. The room was pretty good but the bathroon needed to be cleaned better and the shower wasnt that great. On the other hand its in a great location, you can rent bikes right from the front door of the hotel […] from a man named bob marley (youll know him if you see him) for a good price and the bars in the hotel ( both bars have the swim up stools in the pool) had the cheapest prices for drinks that i found in the whole area. The room was great, we stayed in a deluxe suite. The hotel has to pools which are open all the time. The guests are asked to not congregate in the new pool which has rooms facing it but no one enforces this. We were so tired and it was new years so we did not care. The shower did not have a bottom lip to hold the water in so we made a mess each time […] however this is a common problem in most hotels in Bali in general. The service was disorganized. There was several staff at the front desk but people did not really communicate. We were running late for the airport and no one seemed to know what to do. They claim that they have a shuttle service to the airport but we ended up approaching one of the drivers and had to agree to a higher cost just so we would not miss our flight. Stayed from 26/12-1/1/13, room was clean and all that is needed given the hotels close proximity to everything in the area. Great spot, close to everything in legian and kuta, I stayed in the new part it can get very nosiey so if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs. Breakfast is good but they did not let us know until we saw someone else order more things from the kitchen that is included ie pancakes, eggs, sausages ect.... I stayed here with 2 girlfriends for a few ngihts and we just wanted to shop and party! The Champlung was cheap and central. It was close to the shops and to the clubs! We had such a good time here! The staff were friendly and very helpful! We will definetly be staying here again!

Had an absolute wonderful time at the Champlung Mas... met alot of lovely travellers there, great location , 24 hr pool bar was fun.. breakfast was average but adequate we ordered omellettes most mornings which were made to order and nice. Both pools have cloudy water & lots of dirt in them. I would not put my head under water for safety reasons. The general upkeep & maintenance is dreadful at this hotel. I would not stay there again.

I stayed there for 2weeks with my friends to enjoy surfing in bali. Location is very near to kuta beach, only 5 minutes on foot. Pool is so clean that we can enjoy sunbath.

To start off we arranged for airport pick up. This turned out to be a no show on their behalf. This was our third time at this hotel, but unfortunately they have replaced the comfortable old villa type lodgings with a concrete monstosity that resembles a modern day ghetto. Continuous noise from the adjoing new building greeted us daily at 8am and continued […] until 5pm. To make things a little more uncomfortable, the bar area played music from mid morning to 11:00pm loud enough to be heard all over the complex and penetrate the windows of our room giving us no peace at all. The pool remains open all night to cater for late night to early morning party goers. The first 10 rooms on each side closer to the bar area are definitely not for people who like a little peace and quiet. Checked into the old side of the hotel it was dirty and had not been cleaned ,bed sheets had to be changed 3 times each set was dirty(blood stains and dirt). Paid for two single beds and they put us into a double and wanted us to pay to upgrade to what we had already paid for. Eventually they changed us over to the new side of the hotel we had to carry […] all our stuff to the 3 floor.Stay was alright until my phone went "missing" from the hotel lobby,staff were rude and unhelpful specially the hotel manager. After room service they would bring in stained dirty towels as if they were new. In a great location to the beach, eateries and markets. Currently the new hotel section is undergoing extensions and older side refurbishment. This makes it a little noisy during the day but bearable. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The old pool and bar area still remain a favourite with guests. Would certainly stay again.

This is a lovely place to stay, the staff are extremely helpful and very nice, the quality of the room was great but we noticed there was no wi fi in the rooms as the internet had said but all you had to do was step outside the doors and it was available, we also didnt have a hair dryer in our room. There were a few males hanging around the hotel hassling […] us to go on tours with them but after telling them a few times that they were harassing us they soon left us alone. The hotel is a great place to stay and meet fellow Aussie friends. I had read reviews prior to travelling with quite a few people complaining about noise from near by construction but honestly it was no where near as bad as they all made out to say. It was a disspointment since the picture of the room did not match with the reality. I believe we were given rooms that were not the same as in the picture or then the picture was at least 10 years old. The floors were a bit dirty (due to the cleaning mop) though the room was cleaned daily. But the staff was very helpful and friendly and the pool areas […] were nice. Also, the rest of the hotel seemed to be ok . The only problem was that we were not sold what was in the pics and what we believed we bought (i.e. the rooms were not as nice/clean/new as was in the pictures). I can recommend the hotel if you get situated around the main pool area where the rooms are nicer (we were situated at the back of the hotel area). Mehr

I was pleasantly suprised by this hotel. The room I stayed in (on the 4th floor) was very clean, and well maintained. Bathroom, bed, and everything looked new. The swimmingpool was nice and clean, and the breakfast buffest was basic but good. The hotel is expanding/renovating but this didn't create any inconvenience. The location is great, It is located […] about 5 minutes walk from both Legian street and the beach.The hotel felt very safe, security was visible on the ground floor (as with many hotels in Kuta), and they helped you set up the inroom safe upon arrival. Needs to fix a few things so, main problem is all rooms have balcony's and the doors are not very good fitting, so there are gabs in between, enough space to let mosquitoes in. This hotel is a less expensive hotel, however that is not to say the quality or comfort has been sacrifised. the cheapest rooms are not modern whatsoever, so for the minor price difference in room upgrades I strongly recommend doing so.
