Vagabond Inn Hemet - Hemet

Funktionierendes WLan. Sauber. Die Zimmer sind etwas zu klein für meinen Geschmack.

Das Vagabound Inn liegt an der Hauptstrasse am Rande von Hemet. Ein einfaches aber sehr sauberes Hotel mit funktierendem WIFI. Ideal zum Uebernachten auf der Durchreise. Grosser Flachbildschirm und Kühlschrank sind der einzige Komfort. Frühstück in der Lobby ist im Preis inbegriffen und für amerikanische Verhältnisse gut.

Vagabond Motel in Hemet is at the East end of town. Most food establishments are at the center or west end. Older hotel, so walls are thin. We could hear upstairs as well as next door neighbors. Be sure to be the first to get a shower....hot water is for about 4 rooms and runs out early! Hotel only has 1 room with double beds. We requested 2 rooms and […] they could not accomodate both parties with 2 beds in the room. Limited breakfast items. No decaf coffee packets available in the room; had to get coffee from the lobby. Parking is close and no curbs to go up for people who are disabled...but be sure to request a room on bottom floor - no elevators. Mehr

Ok. The stairs are narrow if you are upstairs and the internet was very spotty, it kept dropping. Good deal if you are just spending the night.

The hotel staff was very friendly and this did the trick for a cheap place to stay for a quick sleep on a road trip. However, the place has seen better days. The room was run down and not very comfortable and the walls were paper thin. While checking in the front desk clerk attempted to charge an additional fee due to my party having more people in it than originally booked. As I pulled up the confirmation email to prove my original booking he attempted to compromise by not charging additional fees but calling it even by leaving a tip for the staff. Scummy.

Definitely east of downtown Hemet. Room had an unusally arrangement/layout, but was adequate. Carpeting was dirity. Contential breakfast was o.k. Room was resonable priced which was our reason for choosing it. One or two nights o.k. but wouldn't want to stay there long term.

The hotel was okay for a one nite stay. But, the best part was the comfort of the bed, that was the saving grace for the hotel. The hotel could stand a facelift, towel racks in bathroom would be nice, and new towels would work for me.

This room was okay, the price was great. The problem is that the people in the next room talked until around 1:00am. We could hear nearly every word spoken. At 2:00am, people checked into the room above us, & it sounded as though the ceiling was about to fall in on us. If you want to sleep all night, don't come here.

I read the other reviews and decided to risk it since I needed a cheap room for two nights while my daughter played softball. I was pleasantly surprised and have already booked my next reservation there for her next tourney.

This is just a room to stay in if you are in the area and have nothing else. The room had been freshly painted as in "yesterday" and smelled like it. Carpet should have been replaced at the same time or at least cleaned. For the price these days in many nicer hotels I would not book this again.

What a pleasure to stay in, lovely and clean. The owners were so much help with routes for our on going journey to San Francisco.

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The owners obviously care about their property and have some very modern amenities and tasteful furnishings. I would definitely stay at this hotel again for business or pleasure but not for a family vacation.

We were very happy with our stay at the Vagabond the people there were very nice and the room was very clean and stocked with what we needed. We would definately stay there again.

A little run-down. Breakfast not even worth looking at. A few bugs in room. Old TV.

The staff was very nice and willing to help! This is probable the only reason I am recommending this hotel. It is not in the best condition and the area is not the best. It is old, you can tell....While in our rooms we had no problems and I felt comfortable. I would use this hotel again because of location and price. Loved the staff!

I booked this hotel 3 weeks in advance via Hotels.com after reading the good reviews. My confirmation from Hotels.com indicated a non-smoking room. When we arrived at the hotel (7:30pm) the only room left was a smoking room. I inspected the room to see if it was tolerable and it was not even close. I asked them how they could have given my room away […] and they stated that Hotels.com had requested a smoking room. I pulled up my confirmation on my iphone and showed the clerk. hotels.com later refunded my money but had to search for another hotel. Mehr

Free wireless Internet was a no- go. Actually they had free connect to wireless router but this router didn't connect to the Internet. Breakfast was a disappointment - coffee was yucky ( not even drinkable after only 4 hrs of sleep ), cereal stale, not much for other options ( waffle maker not turned on in time for scheduled breakfast). The name does not do the Hotel justice. It's not big but very comfortable, rooms are clean and staff are excellent

Reasonable place, clean, close to decent restaurants including a good mexi restaurant. Rooms are very clean. I am self employed and appreciate a quiet working persons hotel. Management does not allow noise.

The hotel staff went above and beyond to make our room filled with flowers and champagne when they found out it was our wedding night. The location is not ghetto or run down. And the hotel felt safe and quite. For the cheapest hotel in town I will always be staying here whenever I return to town.

When we arrived, power was out to half of the hotel. He put us in a room he thought was OK, only to tell us ten minutes later that he would need to shut down power there to while he fixed a fuse. He said it would take ten minutes max. An hour later, still no power, all this at 11:30 pm! He finally moved us in to a room w/ two full beds, instead of the […] queen we booked. That was comfy...NOT! Overall, not the cleanest place, I appreciated his efforts, but still did not do any wonders for me, or the early appointment I had the next morning. Everything was clean, my room was ready, it was quiet and the staff was very helpful with everything I asked for. And all for a fraction of the cost of some of the bigger names.

Most impressed by the very friendly and prompt service. I had to check in very late, but my room was held and the manager met me with a smile. I really appreciated coffee being available all day long, as I was working out of my room, and the waffles included with the continental breakfast were a nice surprise. Rooms were clean and large, and the TV […] was of a superior quality and size. Great value for the price. Only downside, not many late night food choices in immediate vacinity. But refrigerator and microwave in room made up for that. Mehr

It's an older place, but for the price it was okay. Clean for the most part. Tub/shower was painted over and pealing a bit. For the price I would stay there again.

I haven't been to Hemet in about 10 years and I only go for work. I picked this hotel because it was closest to my work site. Although Hemet has grown since the last 10 years, its still a hole of a city. With that being said, I didnt have high expectations about the Vagabond Inn. It was still a perfect place to stay at. It was close and convenient […] for what I was there fore. The Hotel manager Tony was always right on top of everything and extremely courteous. I had everything I needed. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the hotel just isn't as new as it could be. Regardless, I recommend you stay at this place. Although its kinda east of everything else, its still in a quieter and nicer neighborhood (which isn't saying much about Hemet). Go ahead, try this place out, you won't be disappointed. Mehr

Tony met all of our expectations and then some. He and his wife and staff were excellent and very congenial. I highly recommend this motel. 5 stars

The shower walls are peeling and the alarm clock doesn't work. The continental breakfast is the worst I have ever had. It is also restricted to the check-in area and limited to two tiny tables each with two chairs. Yhis is strictly a mom and pop operation. I must say both mom and pop were pleasant and accomodating.
