Courtyard By Marriott Cancun - Cancún

Ich habe das Hotel ausgewählt, weil es in Flughafennähe ist und bereits ab 5 Uhr morgens einen kostenlosen Transfer (der 5 Minuten dauert) zum Flughafen anbietet. Der Service war umwerfend und das Zimmer hätte ich dann doch am liebsten nicht so früh wieder verlassen. Der Transfer hat reibungslos geklappt. Da die Taxifahrer am Flughafen horrende Preise […] für den Transfer von gerade mal 2,5 km verlangen (zwischen 200 und 350 mexikanische Pesos) ist man mit dem Transfer eine große Sorge los. Mehr

Wenn man spät ankommt oder früh abreist, ideales Hotel. Guter Komfort, Frühstücksbuffet, Swimmingpool, sehr gut eingerichtet. Für diesen Zweck sehr zu empfhelen.Einziger Minuspunkt: Leider hat der Airport Busshuttle des Hotesl nicht geklappt. Haben dann einfach ein Taxi genommen.

Unser Flug nach Hause ging sehr früh morgens. Deswegen haben wir ein Hotel in der Nähe des Airports genommen. Fast zu schade, um nur eine Nacht zu bleiben. Das Hotel bietet noch mal ein richtiges Wohlgefühl, bevor man wieder nach Hause 'muss'. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Sie geben sich extrem Mühe, dass die Gäste zufrieden sind. When exiting the elevator on to the fourth floor I immediately noticed dehumidifiers lining the hallways. Upon entering the room there was a distinct musty, mildewy odor and damp feel to the room. I am suspicious that since this was the top floor of the hotel that there may have been a flood or perhaps the roof had a leaked. I was concerned that there […] may have been mold present in the room and that I may have been subjecting myself and my travel companion to unhealthy environmental conditions. Obviously the hotel was aware of this situation due to the plethora of dehumidifiers seen. I expect better from a Marriott property. Mehr

Standard Courtyard Marriott. Nothing special, nothing lacking. Breakfast was much better than expected, but would recommend not pre-paying.

This Marriott is located near the Cancun Airport, with excellent shuttle service to and from the airport. The food in the restaurant is good, and the service is excellent.

This was a very nice place to relax after arriving late in Cancun. It's very close to the airport, with free shuttle service. The hotel is very nice - very nice lobby, and beautiful patio and pool area. Eating outside on the patio is a very relaxing experience. The only negative is that the rooms smell kind of musty. I'm guessing they have a slight […] mold problem due to the high humidity in Cancun. But, I saw humidifiers in the hall, so I know they're working on it. The beds are VERY comfortable, and the staff were all exceptionally helpful. They even helped me find my retainer (which I had lost at the pool)! Marriott Courtyard Cancun is an attractive hotel with a friendly, helpful staff but they have a mildew issue. When we opened the door to our room the stench of mildew was strong. The A/C in our room on the 7th floor barely made a difference and we couldn't keep the window open after dusk because of the mosquitos. It's a nice hotel otherwise especially […] since there aren't many hotels in close proximity to the airport which was what we needed to get to our early morning flight. We slept one night in this hotel , because it is close to the airport . It is a good hotel but i lost two necklaces and one watch in the room. It was a shame that let such bad experience as the end of our trip in Mexico.

Great if you have an early flight. There is a 5am shuttle.

We stayed here before we went onto our All Inclusive destination. It was a great hotel and near the airport. I do recommend it.

Outstanding service, superb staff. loking forward to my next visit.

spacious rooms, helpful staff, good restaurant, quiet grounds

We stayed just one night because this was close to the airport. The restaurant was fine and the room was clean enough. However, despite the AC being turned to frigid, it smelled horrible -- very musty and airless. We had to sleep with the window open, which got a little noisy in the morning, and of course made it more humid, but it was better than not […] being able to breathe the stifling room air. Bed and pillows were extremely firm (fine if that is your preference). They use a two-sided cotton duvet, which is nice. Coverlet inside was very warm, which would have been fine with the AC going. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Overall, it served it's purpose. Mehr

We stayed here for one night since we did not want to drive to Merida immediately after landing. The hotel has a free shuttle to/from the airport so they picked us up withing 5 mins of calling them. The rooms are clean, they serve good breakfast, and the staff is very friendly.

this hotel is great because it is very close to the airport. I would only stay here for the ease of getting to the airport, not to vacation in cancun.

This hotel was close to the airport. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the hotel gardens were beautiful. I would definitely say that this hotel was a great value. I would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable temperpedic like beds, decent restaurant - bar with several outdoor tables, very nice pool area. Adequate business center - 6 PCs and a few reading chairs. Good idea to call the van to get picked up - they pick up at #26 terminal 3 - don't know about location at terminal 2.

I found this hotel to be extremely nice. The quality of the rooms, cleanliness and prompt staff were outstanding.

its a good hotel for travellers, because its five minutes drive, from the airport, and you won'r pay a taxi, they have a free shuttle every 30 minutes. If you check in late, you might have a problem finding something to eat, cause the only restaurat in the hotel closes at 11:00 pm, and there's nothing outside except the highway. the bed and pillows […] were very comfortable. The best thing was it was close to Airport. The staff were always around with a smile and kept the entire hotel clean. The food was absolutely gross, didn't matter eggs & bacon, pasta, caeser salad... as well as very expensive. We skipped lunch one day because we didn't want to eat there, dinner came around was so terrible we ate our yoguart from the […] morning buffet instead. I did write a kind note - which the manager kindly thanked me for and refunded the price of the meal. They are in the middle of no where so unless you catch a taxi at 250+paso's you can't do any shopping, or eat anywhere else. The music in the courtyard stays on 24/7 though the courtyard closes at 10pm - and sounds like depressing funeral music! The gym consists of 4 machines in a very small little room. Courtyard was small so no where to walk - the only thing to do was swim or take a nap in the many hammocks hung around pool area. this Hotel was good for a 1 night stay for airport convenience. Mehr

not inb convenient area unless you have car, don't mind expensive taxis or take local bus (we did the latter and it was fine)...Nice helpful, freidnly staff and food in restaurant expensive but very good. Wish they had breakfast inluded...nice itness facility as well. Very convenient to airport and reliable shuttle service.

Staff were super friendly and helpful, rooms spacious, clean and very comfortable...restaurant a little pricey and breakfast ot included but food was geat! If do not have car and need to get aout not he best location as nothing is in neighborhood..we took local bus which was fine to take care of some business, as taxis are expensive. Courtyard By Marriott Cancun is close to the airport and convenient for an overnight stay if you're flying in late.

Very nice hotel with good swimming pool, restaurant, laundry and free shuttle to the airport for that last night with an early next day flight. More than we expected.

We stayed here the first night because it was near the airport and did not want a long drive after a long flight. The pool was great the dinner and breakfast was great too. It was a short stay but just right. Staff was friendly and bi-lingual. Sat in the hot tob and looked at the stars.... It felt good.

This is a great deal and a really nice hotel. After spending a week at Mexico's beaches, it was really nice to stay at such a nice hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

Marriott is veryconvenient if you are needing hotel accom near the airport. Good food in restaurant and very good customer service. Free shuttle to and from airport

My stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Cancun was only an overnight stay while in transit. The hotel is close to the airport and has free shuttle service. I have stayed here before while in transit. The nightly rates are low, the shuttle service spares me the exorbitant taxi fares charged for this short ride, and the hotel restaurant has fabulous food. […] The business office has four computers that guests can use free of charge. First morning shuttle is at 5:00AM which gets you to the airport in time for early flights. Hotel is A+ for comfort and service. Mehr

Very comfortable and clean hotel. Excellent restaurant. Free airport shuttle (only about 7 minutes from airport). Multi-Lingual staff is very polite. I've stayed here no less than 5 times and highly recommend. However, this is not a hotel for those that want the beach and things to do within walking distance.

We chose this hotel as we had an early morning flight out. The hotel is overall very new, nice, and quiet. The food is good, but small and overpriced at the restruant onsite. Nothing really in walking distance so a taxi is needed to do anything so plan accordingly.

Great place for a quick stop over as it is close to the airport. Free shuttle but make sure you book or call for pick-up.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The shuttle that ran to the airport every 10-15 minutes was great. The service in the restaurant was terrible. We waited to be seated for about 15 mins as waiters hurried past us without acknowledgement. Once we finally got seated nobody came to take our order for about 40 mins. We ordered very simplerals and […] didn't receive them for about another hour (We could sew our meals sitting on the service counter after about 30 mins but there were no warming elements on so the food sat there fetting cold). During that time not one waiter came past our table as they were trying to sort our all the errors on the bills for the tables around us. The table next to us had to send their meals back 3 times because they were not correct. The food is extremely overpriced and it cost MN$380 for a bottle of water that would usually cost approx MN$100. Mehr

Really convenient, quiet, good food, excellent value.

This time my trip didn't start off as well as I was expecting. The pick-up van is still a problem. There needs to be a sign or some way for you to know where to go for the van WITHOUT having to negotiate the sea of taxi and tour hawkers out front. It's really unwelcoming and jarring. Also, we waited almost 20 minutes for the van. At check in, there […] was a problem with rooms not being ready, but they gave us a decent room. It was little smelly and the ac wasn't very good (loud and didn't cool), but it was only for a night. Again, the food wasn't good. I ordered nachos and the cheese was a cheese sauce!!!! REALLY????? Not even REAL cheese. I thought that was pathetic. The Sunday buffet was fine. Nothing special. The television was on and was tuned to an EXTREMELY gory movie for anybody eating ( slit throats, lots of swords, etc). Was this necessary? By the time I was able to get someone's attention, the movie was over. Service is ok. If there's a soccer game on the tv, it's really bad as the staff stands around and watches it, so it's a little difficult to get anyone's attention. Everybody's really friendly and nice. I would still recommend this if you have an early flight out as it's so close to the airport. As the headquarters for my trip, I wouldn't recommend it. Mehr

This is a fine hotel for an overnight stay when you have an early flight out or are arriving late. The staff is friendly and the hotel is conveniently near the airport. Getting to the hotel is another adventure unless you have the direct number for the hotel to arrange for the shuttle to come and get you. YOU NEED A CALLING CARD TO MAKE THIS CALL or […] a cell phone with an international plan!!!!!! Calling cards purchased in the US will NOT work. Our hotel room was pretty plain, but fine. No bells and whistles. The pool was great and so was the whirlpool. There's a laundry room which is great for washing and drying swimsuits if necessary. The restaurant was fine, not spectacular and the food was average (as you might expect). This hotel fit our needs and if I needed to be close to the airport, I would DEFINITELY stay here again. Mehr

Very good hotel, very clean and well located close to entertainment centers, Golf Camps, city of Cancun and the airport.

The hotel has a complimentary shuttle to the airport. The general area of the hotel is not great, but the hotel itself is very new and feels completely safe. The room was clean and neat. Our only complaint was that it had a slightly mildewy scent. Overall, a great value.
