The hotel was clean and in a good location. The first room had a toilet that wouldn't flush, so they moved us to another room. The second room was next to the outer stairs and was very noisy when kids ran up and down. Also there was no tv remote and the tub didn't drain well. Overall though, i would recommend this hotel. Nice - for the price. Needed a quick place to stay and this was perfect. The water drained a little slow in the bathroom shower, but the beds where nice and the location great.

The front desk is very nice and helpful, but the hotel is very old and dirty. The carpet in the room is very filthy and dirty. The room smell really bad, damp and old. On the bed had a big cockroach died on that and we did not see that, not until in the morning because the light in the room was not bright enough. Very disappointed. There are very few hotel options in Statesboro, GA - and I have no comparison data from the other local hotels. PROS: Close to the University. Friendly and professional staff. CONS: Room smelled musty. The lamps/lights in the room didn't work. There was a doorbell-like button outside of my room (and my room only) that when pressed would sound the […] FIRE ALARM inside my room. VERY VERY LOUD - and very strange. Fortunately no one walked by my room and decided to press it or I would have died in my sleep. All that being said - I will stay there again. The price and practicallity of the place out weigh the lack of creature comforts. However, I stayed there by myself. The room was clean. The only complaint that I have is the carpet was soiled and I could hear my neighbors when they opened and closed their front door. There was plenty of parking. I enjoyed my stay overall. The air conditioner worked great! The staff was nice and friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

The Bulloch County Prisoner Transport sheriff car was parked in the lot and was very disconcerting. We left after one night, even though we paid for 2 nights. It was completely unappealing, and the price was outrageous for the low quality of the room.

My family stayed in this Quality Inn simply because of reputation but the service was terrible. First our toilet stopped up and when we called to have it fixed they said they would send someone up to our room. Several hours later no one came so we went to the desk and their remark was they need to find the plunger and gave us a room key to go to a nother […] room to use the restroom. We were on the top floor and the room we got to go use the restroom when we need to was on the bottom floor. Second, we went to check out and no one was at the desk. We waited for 20 minutes then left to go to the restroom and when we came back there was still no one at the desk so we could check out. Our room door was open when we went to it, the lights and tv were on. I called the front desk, he stated that maybe the maid left it on. I went to lock my door and the lock was extremly loose. There was only one towel, when I went to get another one, I got a very small towel. The bed skirt looked like someone threw up on it. The hotel staff was pleasent, the rooms were old but clean, quiet with a good location to the college. Don't plan on eating breakfast there. Food items were not maintained and no one was there to assist.

The hotel room was clean and comfortable, it looked like it had been recently refurbished. The exterior of the hotel is rather dated. Check in was smooth, staff was friendly. The free breakfast buffet was just OK, not a lot to choose from - but was easier than finding something off site. people were nice. beds were fine. fancy toilet was broken. left lid off so could flush. continental breaksfast was average. workout room could not be used because it smelled like strong cat pee.
