Als Vorübernachtung für eine Kreuzfahrt völlig o.K. zumal das Hotel den kostenlosen Busshuttle stellt. Falls man zu Fuß Richtung Las Olaz Blv. geht, sollte man schon darauf achten, wer in der Umgebung rumläuft ( im Dunkeln besser mit dem Taxi fahren), da einige Obdachlose rumhängen.Aber das ist ja in Deutschland auch nicht anders. Frühstück für amerikanische Verhältnisse o. K.

Stilgemäßes Art-Deco-Hotel für einen Aufenthalt mitten drin in Miami Beach. Sehr schönes Ambiente in der Lobby. Zwar ist das Personal viel Kommen und Gehen von Gästen gewöhnt, trotzdem noch positive, freundliche Routine.

In dieser Preiskategorie sicher eines der besten Hotels. Saubere und moderne Zimmer. Gutes Frühstück, sehr nettes Personal. Einzig negativ ist die Poolanlage. Mobiliar verbraucht und lädt nicht zum planschen ein. Pool ist auch sehr klein. Habe keine Gäste gesehen die sich dort aufgehalten haben. Aber ansonst sehr zu empfehlen da in kurzer entfernung(3min. Fußweg) Supermärkte, Restaurants und andere Geschäfte vorhanden. Von 6 Hotels in dieser Preisklasse die wir in Florida besuchtt haben, eindeutig das beste Hotel.

Hervorragende Lage ein Block vom Ocean Drive und dem wunderbaren Strand entfernt. Äußerst freundlicher Service. Die Standardzimmer sind klein aber sehr zweckmäßig und nett im Art Deco Stil eingerichtet. Das Hotel verfügt über einen Pool auf der Dachterrasse. Es werden kostenlos Liegen und Handtücher am Strand zur Verfügung gestellt. Sehr zu empfehlen für Gäste die direkt in der Nähe des Art Deco Viertels übernachten möchten.

Best Western Oceanfront Suites befindet sich in Strandnähe in Surfside, Miami Beach, in der Nähe der folgenden Sehenswürdigkeiten: Bal Harbour Mall, Haulover Park Marina und Oleta River State Park. Zu den weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten der Region gehört Folgendes: Miami Beach Convention Center.

Jeden Morgen wird den Gästen ein kostenloses Frühstück serviert. Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen, renovierte Zimmer habe ich keine gefunden und ich habe mich umgesehen. Pool beheizt ist im Winter von Dezember bis April eine tolle Sache. Frühstück ok ganz einfach nicht geniessbar. Lage tip top Puplix Supermart 1 Minute zu Fuss. Beach gleich um die Ecke. Bitte daraf achten das was man gebucht hat auch zu bekommen.

sehr schöne und saubere Anlage, saubere und sehr gut ausgestattete Zimmer (ca. 45 m2 großes Appartment mit Wohnzimmer, Küche, Bad, Flur mit Wandschrank und Schlafzimmer), 2 Pools (einer davon beheizt), amerikan. Frühstücksbüffet, direkte Strandlage. Personal ok. In unmittelbarer Umgebung gibt es einen großen Supermarkt (Publix) und weitere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. […] Gute Umgebung für Leute, die Ruhe suchen. super schöne Lage direkt am km langen Sandstrand von Miami Beach. Zimmer sind sehr komfortabel mit voll ausgestatteter Küche, Wohn- und Schlafzimmer, kleinem Badezimmer. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Angenehm ist auch dass Frühstück und Parken inklusive sind. Wir würden wieder dort buchen.
"Strandhotel in Surfside"
Das Hotel liegt direkt am schönen Strand von Surfside. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants sind in unmittelbarer Nähe zu Fuß erreichbar. Parkplätze sind kostenlos! Es empfiehlt sich mit der Buslinie 120 nach Miami oder Miami Beach zu fahren (1. gleich schnell, 2. kostet nur $2 und Kinder sind frei, 3. Parkplatz in Miami kostet $6 pro Stunde, 4. Miami […] Beach ist abends nur ein einziger Stau). Der Bus hält direkt vor dem Hotel. Frühstück ist leider nur das typische "american free breakfast", wie es bei allen Hotelketten "Free" angeboten wird. Außer dem Kaffee im Styroporbecher kann ich diesem "american way of Frühstück" nichts abgewinnen. Zimmer und Pool sind sauber. Ausstattung ist alt aber gebrauchstauglich...Was man eben so für 2,5 Sterne in USA erwarten kann. Strand ist auch sauber und wird mehrmals am Tag gereinigt und es gibt freie Liegen. Den Sonnenschirm haben wir uns bei CVS Pharmacy gekauft. Polizei ist sehr präsent mit Streifenwagen, Hubschrauber und Booten. Man kann sich also sicher fühlen. Wir waren drei Tage in dem Hotel und würden bei der nächsten Durchreise bestimmt wieder dort buchen. Mehr
Leider kann man dieses Gebäude nicht wirklich als Hotel bezeichnen. Ein Motel würde es da eher treffen. Alles alt und abgenutzt. Der Teppich im Zimmer 455 ist total verdreckt und klebrig gewesen. Uralte Ausstattung. Da konnte auch der relative neue Flachbildfernseher im Schlafzimmer nichts gutmachen. Sehr wenig Fernsehprogramme. Das Zimmer befindet […] sich direkt an der Straße. Sehr laut. Die Klimaanlage kann man nur nach langem probieren benutzen, da schon sämtliche Beschriftungen abgenutzt sind. Das Bad ist sehr klein. Die Fenster in allen Zimmern stammen noch aus den siebziger Jahren. Am Tag der Anreise mussten wir ca. 15 Mücken im Zimmer jagen. Silberfische sind auch keine Seltenheit. Einen Parkplatz am Abend zu finden ist schwer möglich, teilweise hat man keine Chance. Insgesamt kann ich dieses "Hotel" nicht empfehlen. Ich bin auch beruflich viel unterwegs und schlafe sehr oft in Hotels. So etwas ist mir schon lange nicht mehr vorgekommen. Mehr
"Einfach, aber super sauber............"
Ein einfaches Hotel in schöner Lage mit direktem Zugang zum Strand. Die Zimmer waren sehr geräumig und sehr sauber (!!) Das Frühstück ist sehr einfach (nur Plastikgeschirr). Wenn man keine hohen Ansprüche stellt, ist das Hotel sehr zu empfehlen.

was ok, when we went into the room it was not cleaned 100%. floor was not vacumed and papers and trash where on the floor. We called and they sent someone up right away to clean. Overall it was a good stay, thanks.

Run down, most electrical outlets wouldn't even hold plug. Bed was good enough, but everything else needed updating. Location was nice, restaurant's only one block away.

this hotel was a perfect experience. we loved being right on the beach and having so many stores and shops close by. the room was spacious and having a full kitchen with dishes helped budget our vacation. we will be using this hotel again in the near future.

We booked at the last minute and were not disappointed. Clean, simple hotel with free car parking! Roooms are huge with part or full kitchen. Ours had been refurbished - so ask for one that has been. We booked an ocean front terrace room - great to sip our coffee whilst watching all those healthy people jogging along the beach in the mornings!! "really impressed and happy"
Room was big and super clean, full size fridge and stove with cupboards too. Beds were comfy, shower clean and full walk in closet with hangables on both sides. The safe was too small to fit our laptops tho. We paid for ocean view and glad we did because some regular rooms (not poolside view rooms) faced parking lot. The hotel is old and could use updating but the location on the beach and hte free parking are convenient. It is a little pricey, considering hte age of the hotel but you are paying for the beachfront location. Not my favorite hotel but satisfactory.

Hotel was great location - management excellent at providing places to eat and visit, especially if you are new to the area. Great kitchen facilities if you preferred to make some of your own meals. Publix couple of blocks away to purchase food items. Close to excellent malls for shopping some very high end. "Little gem among big hotels"
We really enjoyed staying at Best Western Oceanfront in Surfside. The open spaces and greenery between units was well maintained and allowed all units a view of the ocean. Kitchen was ancient and pipes not covered was surprising, but overall a lovely place to stay.
"Room so damp and dewy couldn't sleep!"
The room dripped with dewy humidity even with the AC on high making you damp but shivery and I was barely able to sleep even with a sleeping pill. It was awful. We switched our room but was no better. Manager said hotel from 1920s and this was the result. The carpet so filthy that your feet turn black. The staff wad very friendly and helpful and the […] free breakfast a plus and location great. It was very noisy too. "It was interesting"
This hotel is on the beach and I did get a big room with an ocean view. The hotel is very old and out dated; I was OK with that, but not having a working elevator was hard on my back and many of the people older than I were really struggling to get up and down the three flights. The elevator was broken early Friday when I got there and it was still […] not working when I left. I had the impression is had not be working for awhile. The room was big with a full kitchen like promised and there was a walk in closet. There was free WiFi (750k), coffee, breakfast, ironing board and a safe. The rooms are very noisy because they have windows from the 1950’s that let all the sound in. The hotel is a 20-30 minute drive to any of the major tourist places, so it was not a great hotel for site seeing. Most people were there to spend time on the beach and it is OK for that. Over all, I would not stay again but I am not sorry I tried it Mehr

the best western on the Miami Beach shoreline is on the ocean side of the street and seems to be a vacation spot for the local Floridians. The rooms were full of families and children from the city and suburbs. this seems to be were locals go to spend the weekend. breakfast was pretty bad but for the price it was one of the cheepest places to stay on […] the beach. Good deal for the price and free parking, the hotel is located on the beach. It is a typical old best western hotel with small kitchen, painted over a million times, but in general good shape, just a little cramped in the bathroom and furnishings are old. basic breakfast, no real ocean view, local Surfside town has some good restaurants, within walking […] distance. Location great, pools and quiet beach and walking path terrific, great free breakfast, large suites, quiet. Only heard neighbors once in five days. Staff friendly. No elevator to second floor suites so was hard with baby carriage. Main problem: bad any infestation. My baby got bitten three times and one of my bites got infected and I had to go to the […] doctor, to an urgent care center, when I returned. "On the beach"
We only stayed for one night, bur got a lot of space. Two rooms. one double bed and one sleeping sofa, two bathrooms - it was great. Hotel is practically on the beach and that is nice because the pool was very crowded.

We had a fabulous time with family on our stay. The rooms were clean, very spacious, and the air conditioning was quoted by my husband as being "the best air conditioner I've ever felt at a hotel." The hotel is right on the beach, and they even provided 2 beach chairs for us. The kitchen was also nice and spacious, as was the walk in closet. We enjoyed […] a day on the beach followed by some relaxation in the pool and a night on the town, it was truly a great time. We stayed two nights this best western oceanfront was close to beach and shopping center. The room which was a suite came with full kitchen very spacious, neat and clean. A+++ great experience.

"Love this little motel"
We stayed for one night after a cruise. It's older, but maintained and clean. The front desk person and lady over cleaning are a riot and long term employees who let us check in early and went out of their way to take care of us. "Short Spring Break stay in Surfside"
From the moment I checked-in until the moment I left, everyone and everything was nice. The hotel manager was very hospitable and allowed me to check-in two hours early. Plus, he was able to get me into a room with a king-size bed, which was much better for me than having two double beds. I enjoyed the free daily breakfast and took advantage of the […] free internet access as well. The suite could stand to be updated, but it was spacious. From the living room to the kitchen to the bedroom, there was plenty of room to move around. The bathroom was small, but serviceable. The other great thing was that the hotel was near lots of shops and restaurants. Publix supermarket was within walking distance as were nice restaurants like Finnegan's, Sushi Republic, and Miami Pizza & Grill. The Bal Harbour shops were nearby as well for those interested in fashion and jewelry. The housemaids came by each day to make sure the bed was made and fresh towels were brought. The back of the hotel leads right to the beach at Surfside or you can hang out at the pool. I was even able to park the car without added expenses. I was glad I was able to find this hotel during Spring Break. It turned out better than I expected. Mehr
