Claremont Angkor Boutique Hotel - Siem Reap

Sehr schönes Hotel unter freundlicher Leitung eines Australiers. Sehr schöne Lage mit Bick auf den Fluß in ruhiger Umgebung. Angenehm gestaltete Räume, sauber und ordentlich mit viel Zubehör. Sehr schöne Dachterasse zum Frühstücken und speisen. Mit dem Fahrrad ca. 30 min bis zum Tempel Angkor Wat. Wir haben es dort sehr genossen. Vielen Dank!

We have stayed in several hotels in southeast asia and this hotel is among the very best in value for money. The rooms are really comfortable, clean and spacious. The hotel has a very nice pool, if not very big. Its within 10 minutes (walking) from Pub Street where all the action happens, far enough to avoid all the annoyances of crowds and close enough […] to walk. They also set us up with a very good tour guide (the best we've had so far in our trip) for Angkor Wat. The staff is friendly and tried to make our stay comfortable. We highly recommend this hotel. The airport is within a 25 minute tuk tuk ride, and right outside the hotel there are two main streets where you can always find one. Mehr

This was a nice sized hotel with great front desk staff during the day. The hotel location is a bit far from the main areas, but you can walk there within 15-20 minutes or take a tuk tuk for $1 USD. The plus is that they do offer an airport pick up and drop off service (not all hotels do). The room was clean and comfortable - the only concerns I had […] were that there wasn't always hot water (I think I only found hot water about 1 hour a day), so a hot shower isn't possible every day. It's in a quiet area which can be a plus for some people who want some rest and relaxation. The only reasons I wouldn't recommend it (or wouldn't stay there again) is because: 1) no guaranteed hot water showers; 2) it'd be nice to be 5-10 min walking from the main area 3) the night guard doesn't really speak English (and he comes on duty early, around 8pm or so). He couldn't really communicate with me regarding my needs, and forgot to give me a wake up call (luckily, my alarm went off and I got up). Mehr

Great hotel situated about 15 minutes walk from the main tourist hub of Siem Reap. For the price we paid the room was massive and was a welcome relief after the long journey from Bangkok. Staff are friendly and always on hand to help, breakfast buffet offered a good variety and hotel was clean and tidy.

This hotel does what is asked: clean rooms, air-conditioning, friendly service. Perfect for exploring the Angkor complex and Siem Reap, but a bit spartan. Complimentary breakfast lacking in quality and quantity, but view from restaurant very good. Close to the river and easy to find after a night out.

This was my second visit to the Claremont Angkor. It is privately owned,by 2 really nice guys from Australia, so the hotel itself has character unlike those corporate owned box hotels. The staff in the roof top restaurant were kind and quick with a smile.The food was good,always arriving hot and tasty. I like this hotel because it's is close to night […] life of Pub Street,but not right in the middle of it,so you don't have to deal with the crowds. Good The hotel is near to Kids Plaza and Supermarkets. Need to Improve 1. However it is very far (around 1km) from Psar Chaa. 2. Safe box was locked with my password and cannot be reopened. Contact front desk and 5 nights after it is still unsolve. Luck for me there is no valuable items I put in the safe 3. No hot water 4. Fresh towels forgot on 3rd […] and 4th days 5. My trip to the temples and Sime Reap went off without a hitch. The staff were helpful and friendly, if at times too helpful and eager to assist with bus tickets, suggestions for dinner and temple itineraries. The pool is lack-luster. But definitely a nice clean place to return to after a long day exploring Angkor Wat.

I really enjoyed my time at this hotel. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. They always went out of their way to accommodate me. The location was great for me as it was within walking distance to the centre of town. I realized one would not want to stay right in the centre or even close to town because of the very loud music playing […] at some of the bars until quite late. This hotel was quiet and I was able to sleep early so I could get up early to go to the sunrise at Siem Reap (I did this most of the time as this seemed to be tthe best time of day for touring the temple sites). I would definitely stay here again! Mehr

Okay hotel

Excellent accueil. Le personnel de l'hotel est dévoué, disponible et d'une très grande gentillesse. Très bonne situation de l'hotel à proximité du centre ville.

刚刚入住时，觉得房间有些简单，不够温馨。但是住过之后，感觉还不错 ，尤其是房间真的很大。高棉式的家具也慢慢有了温度，不再那么冷冷的，沉沉的站在一边了。 所有的服务员都很热情。最让我感动的是，由于飞机晚点，他们允许我们免费的延时退房。 酒店的位置也不错，适合自助游。因为不远处就有超市，餐馆，咖啡店。站在酒店露天餐厅，可以看到小河绿树，还有楼下的幼儿园（学校？）里欢快的孩子。

Hôtel choisi une deuxième fois pour un séjour de quelques jours à Siem Reap. Très bon état général, propre et calme (2 chambres occupées sur une quarantaine) car saison très creuse en seconde semaine de septembre. Parfait pour moi ... parfait aussi pour la visite des templesou la disponibilité d'un personnel à qui nous avions très peu à demander. Agréables […] petits déjeuners en terrasse, très tôt le matin. Hotel bien situé et au calme. Les prestations sont tres correctes et le patron d'origine austrakienne fort sympathique avec le souci du confort de ses clients 10 minutes à pied pour le centre ville ou 2 minutes en tuk tuk. hotel bien situe avec accueil de qualite avec petite piscine non chauffee seul point a ameliorer service impeccable billard et inetrenet gratuit j ai ete enchante de la reservation pour le tuk tuk et le guide francais que m a reserve l 'hotel pour les temples d angkor je vous le recommande
