Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage, zur Central Station sind es wenige Minuten zu Fuß, viele asiatische Restaurants stehen hier zur Auswahl. Allerdings darf man bei Hotel kein Komfort oder ähnliches Erwarten. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein, ungepflegt, kurz: eine Renovierung wäre überfällig. Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer mit Bad reserviert. Tja, das Badezimmer […] war auf schräg gegenüber, das heißt zum Duschen, Zähneputzen usw. musste man also über den Flur spazieren. Das Bad hatte zude keine richtige Tür, jeder der im Gang vorbei lief hatte gute Sicht und konnte ales hören. Abends um 7 Uhr kommt dann in jedes Zimmer eine Durchsage was das "Hotel" heute so an Aktivitäten anbietet... ob man es wissen will oder nicht. Ich kann das Hotel auf jeden Fall nicht weiterempfehlen, wenn euch eine erholsame Nacht wichtig ist, gebt lieber mehr Geld aus und nehmt ein richtiges Hotel! Mehr

This backpackers was in a very convenient location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. However the standard of the room was shocking, the room had not been cleaned as we found someone's used shirt in the drawers,paper left under the bed and the bathroom floor was found with a puddle of water on the floor. Overall we found the whole experience […] unpleasant due to the uncleanliness of our room/bathroom. It was also upsetting to find cockcroaches visiting the room. Mehr

what we asked for in our reservation is not what we got, we asked for two rooms on same floor, got 2 rooms on seperate floors, booking 3 months in adavanced being told it would be fine, also a 13 floor hotel needs more than 1\2 a working elevator, i say half because it didnt work the whole time, making it quite inconvienant to walk up 100,000 stair […] s Mehr

very annoying speaker box in the room that is uncontrollably noisy!

If you're into partying and lack of hygiene, and don't particularly care about sleeping, then Westend is the place for you. It is easy to spot by the perpetual crowd of rowdy backpackers smoking in front of the door. You will likely need to climb over them to get inside. The elevators do not work properly, leading to a long queue sitting on the dingy […] sofa in front of the doors. I stayed in a six-person dorm. It featured three bunk-beds, with hardly enough floor space to keep one's things. Lack of storage space in the room was inconvenient, though it was nice having a bathroom in the room. The hostel is in a district replete with bars, so the nightlife is quite abundant, but tends to carry into the dawn. Shouts from the street and the sounds of sirens characterized my sleepless nights on an uncomfortable mattress. Mehr

We booked a room with private facility, by the mean of private facility, everyone will expect it is inside the room but it is not, they just gave us a key to use the toilet at the other side of the room, everytime we wanted to use the toilet & having a shower, we have to walk all the way thru the hallway to use it., very inconvient. Unclean, small and noisy room. Not really hotels.com quality.

This is an old, fairly dilapidated, loud backpacker hotel. The lounge area, as it is, is very loud, with blaring music with lyrics and conversation inappropriate for children. There are parties of various sorts every night. The rooms are sparse, small, and pretty unkempt. Expect no inroom soap, towel, shampoos or amenities of a normal hotel. If you […] go in with that understanding and are a backpacker type looking to save some cash this is a great location and is totally adequate for your needs. They give away free rice and pasta at the front desk and have a kitchen adequate for most simple cooking. There's a Coles less than a block away so you can shop for groceries and there are several reasonably priced restaraunts nearby. Mehr

Nous avions booké une chambre double car elle etait un petit moins chere qu'ailleurs. Un bon point est la possibilité de déposer ses baggages bien avant le checkin, mais la salle a baggage est au sous sol, avec pour seul acces des escaliers etroits. Elle etoufait la sueur et l'odeur de vetements salles. La chambre (double) etait petite, sombre, sans […] la possibilité d'ouvrir la fenetre, qui n'avait pas due etre lavée de puis des lustres. La aussi la chambre ne sentait pas tres bon, mais a part ca etait relativement propre, pour un batiment aussi vétuste. A mentionner aussi les voisins bruyants, saouls et le haut parleur dans la chambre qu'on ne peut pas debrancher. Pas de probleme avec a salle de bain privée de la chambre accessible en traversant le couloir, sans etre tres equippée (pas de serviettes ni seche cheveux) etait convenablement propre et utilisable. Peut etre bien pour les backpackers purs et durs qui veulent faire la fete mais le rapport qualité prix pour une chambre double dans l'optique d'un sejour normal est vraiment tres mauvais, et pour a peine quelques dollards de plus par nuit, il nous a été possible de trouver un hotel infiniment plus confortable a quelques minutes de marche. points negatifs:bruit, beaucoup d alcool,annonce au micro dans toutes les chambres le soir pour aller faire la fete,proprete de l auberge a revoir. points positifs:au centre de sydney,bouches de metro assez proches,personnel sympathique. You get what you pay for. It may not be the best place to live in if you are traveling like a couple or family, but if you are travelling alone or as a backpacker I would really recommend it! It's sheap, have a really good location, and a helpful staff. They also have activities every night. いかにバックパッカーズとはいえ，お部屋がかび臭いのは困ります。シーツや枕カバーが濃い青色なので汚れが目立ちにくく，清潔感が感じられなかった。
