Ruhig gelegen, Innenstadt trotzdem fußläufig erreichbar. Direkt an der Jamson Distillery gelegen. Supernettes Personal, hilfsbereit. Leider ließen sich in einem Zimmer die Fenster nicht öffnen. Als wir uns beschwerten, bekamen wir ein neues Zimmer. Zimmerausstattung ist einfach aber sehr ordentlich und sauber. Die Gemeinschaftsräume im EG sind sehr ansprechend, großzügig, loftmäßig, modern, auf mehreren Ebenen. Super Atmosphäre. Gut für jung und alt.

Der Aufenthalt im Hotel war angenehm, das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind sauber, allerdings sind die Betten nicht die Besten, die Matratzen sind sehr weich und durchgelegen. Das Frühstück ist völlig in Ordnung, vor allem preislich. Die Lage direkt in der City ist ideal für Städtereisende, Haltestellen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Zimmer top, etwa 15..20 min vom Flughafen entfernt. Shuttle ca alle halbe Stunde. Service im Restaurant quasi nicht praesent, haben jeweils eine halbe Stunde auf Bestellen koennen, Nachbestellen und Zahlen gewartet. Essen in Ordnung.

Wir waren für fünf Nächte im einem Dreierzimmer untergebracht. Allerdings im Basement, was aber durch die Grösse des Zimmers wettgemacht wurde. Badezimmer und Hotelzimmer waren sehr sauber. Die Lage ist hervorragend, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuss erreichbar. Das Frühstück war lecker und die Angestellten freundlich.

Freundliches Personal, gute Flughafenanbindung, bequeme Betten und wenn man keine Lust auf ein großes Früchstück hat, kann man 2 Häuser weiter in einem kleinen Cafe-Shop leckere Scones oder auch eine Portion Porridge bekommen. Ich würde das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen!

Maldron Hotel Parnell Square liegt in Dublin in der Nähe von Hugh Lane Municipal Gallery of Modern Art, Garden of Remembrance und Half Penny Bridge. Nicht weit entfernt befinden sich: Dublin Writers Museum und Parnell Square.

"Schönes, modernes Hotel"
Dieses Hotel ist sehr modern und gut ausgestattet. Die Zimmer sind sauber und haben die übliche Ausstattung. Die Lage ist auch ziemlich gut - man kann eigentlich zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten laufen (auch wenn man bis zur Südseite der Innenstadt vielleicht 20 min braucht). Die einzigen zwei Nachteile waren, dass es nachts auf dem Flur recht laut war und […] die Tür nicht richtig schallisoliert ist, und dass das WiFi nur in der Lobby, aber nicht im Zimmer funktioniert. Es liegt ca. 5-10 Min. zu Fuß von der o´Connell Street entfernt, was sehr gut ist, wenn man einen Bus vom Flughafen nimmt, da dies i.d.R. die einzige Station ist vor der Endhaltestelle.

"Zufrieden mit Einschränkung"
Für eine Kurztripp in die Stadt sehr zu empfehlen, haben fast alles zu Fuß erkundet, nur zum Guiness-Storehouse haben wir ein Taxi genommen, so waren wir vor dem großen Besucheransturm schon da. Das Hotel ist modern, die Zimmer sind ansprechend eingerichtet und ausreichend groß, man kann sich kostenlos Kaffee oder Tee zubereiten, das Frühstück für 9 […] € war auch sehr gut. Einziges Manko: Wir hatten explizit zwei Nichtraucherzimmer gebucht, unsere Freunde erhielten aber ein Raucherzimmer, in dem der Geruch stark war und wirklich sehr störte. Obwohl wir schon 14 Uhr im Hotel waren und mit Sicherheit noch nicht alle Gäste da waren, gab man ihnen am ersten Tag kein anderes Zimmer. Am nächsten Tag konnten sie dann umziehen, aber es gab keine Entschuldigung oder ein Entgegenkommen von Seiten der Rezeption - das trübte etwas den ansonsten guten Eindruck. Mehr

Das Maldron liegt guenstig in City Laufnaehe. Es ist gepflegt, gut organisiert mit gutem Service und grossen Zimmern mit guter Ausstattung (Bad und Betten sind klasse).

Hotel ist etwas außerhalb, wobei außerhalb übertrieben ist, weil Dublin eine Stadt ist, welche man leicht zu Fuß bewältigen kann.Zimmer waren sauber, leider etwas klein, aber das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis hat gestimmt.Wir hatten allerdings kein Frühstück dabei, weil wir immerhin die Stadt und ihre tausend Seiten kennenlernen wollten.Gegenüber dem Hotel […] befindet sich eine Bar.Nicht die Lautstärke war das Problem(man hörte nichts),aber es kamen immer wieder Gäste von dort vor das Hotel, manche auch an die Hotelbar.Das war etwas eigenartig, aber sonst würde ich dort wieder nächtigen. Ich war gemeinsam mit meinem Freund dort, wir hatten ein Zimmer im 4.Stock. Der Strassenlärm war kein Problem, da wir nicht ganz direkt auf die Strasse blickten und die Fenster ziemlich gut den Lärm abgehalten haben. Wir haben immer sehr gut geschlafen. Sehr schönes Hotel an zentraler Lage. Das Hotel war sehr sauber und die Angestellten immer freundlich. Ausserdem war das Bad riesig, was ja meistens nicht der Fall ist. "Nice Place"
The Hotel was clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi was free in the lobby. It was a short walk from where the airport bus dropped us off and shopping/restaurants. Most of the tourist spots are a bit farther, but still very walkable.

We were two friends travelling a weekend in Dublin. We found this hotel which is located only a few minutes from O'Connell Street - one of the main streets of Dublin. We arrived from the airport with bus - both bus 16A and bus 747 stops in the vicinity of the hotel. This was very convenient. DUring our stay we had to request some help for some minor adjustments in our room and the staff did this very fast and to our satisfaction. The overall impression of the hotel was good. For us it gave great value for money, it was close to main attractions, shopping areas and several bus stops. To walk to Grafton street it took approx 20 min. It was possible to store our luggage at the hotel and our impression was that the staff took good care of the luggage - it looked safe. We recommend the hotel. Mehr
"Clean, Comfortable, Centrally Located - Mid Price"
Very please with our 2 night stay in the Maldron Parnell Square. In fact, booked one night initially but then stayed 2! Location is at the top of O'Connell street, past the Rotunda Hospital. The area around the Hotel is not fabulous. Short walk to O'Connell street shopping and restaurants. 15 min walk or short taxi to Temple Bar and Grafton Street. Twin […] room had double bed long enough for a 6'2" guy :-) not always a guarantee. Clean rooms and nicely fitted with flat screen television and free wi-fi for your computer. Control your own aircon and could open the window which was also nice. Bar open late for guests. Didnt eat at the Hotel, collected a pizza from Mizzoni across the street which wasnt great but ok. Hotels own pizza could be better. Left luggage at the Hotel was complimentary. Staff were very efficient and nice. Corridor noise wasnt so bad as doors didnt seem spring load like in some Hotels. Non Smoking room had no signs of smoking. Computer in lobby had a printer attached so when I booked Guinness Storehouse online I got a 10% discount on tickets and could print off my voucher. Generally clean room (apart from a dodgy stain on the spare pillow case), spacious hanging space and handy iron in the room. A fair walk away from the main action, probably a bit further than I would prefer but not too far that you need a taxi. Staff were efficient enough. we stayed here for one night, it is so easy to find and with the car park below you can rest assure that your car is secure. it is in a great location and within walking distance to the main attractions, would def stay in this hotel again.

I stayed at the Maldron for 8 days, and it was a very nice experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, the entire place was very clean and well-kept, the bed was comfortable, and the location was quiet without being too far out of the way. Located just off of Parnell Square, it's an easy 10- to 15-minute walk into center city area. There are plenty […] of places to eat in the area, and on the one morning that it was raining heavily and I didn't want to go outside, I tried the breakfast buffet which was good. This hotel was great location and the staff was very friendly. My only qualms with this hotel is that I purchased a breakfast voucher the day before and was never told when breakfast ended. When we went down at 11am we were told that breakfast ended at 10:30 and that we couldn't get our money back. It was partially our fault for not inquiring, but it […] would have been nice for them to let us know and/or have it written on the breakfast vouchers. It was a complete waste of money! nice friendly staff, nice room, asked for 3 triple beds and got them even tho i got room with double and single. Dont get the chips/fries here, the were solid as a rock. I would definately consider staying at this hotel again. A comfortable stay, central location and friendly and accomodating staff. Food in the restaurant is slightly over priced but very tasty. Overall, good value for money.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short break at the Maldron Parnell Square. My only complaint would be the lack of noise insulation. I could hear the gentleman in the room next door using the bathroom during the night and his bathroom was on the far side of his room! We had sleep issues on a couple of nights due to other people taking advantage of the cheap […] rates and partying in their rooms. I would still consider staying here again, however. We stayed here on our final night in Dublin. The staff was helpful, even assisted with our rental car pickup. Even though parking is very minimal (5 places), we were able to park behind the hotel for a short time. Both myself and my wife had a 1 night stay, the hotel itself was perfectly fine and I would like to single out the restaurant/bar staff who were very friendly and efficient. But our whole stay was ruined by the fact that we were told to park in a public car park across the road and were never told that we it would cost us 24 euro when we went to retrieve […] the car at 11am next morning. It was absolutely ridiculous that there was no special rate between the hotel and the car park, and if there was we were never told about it, this is the reason why i could not recomend this hotel, parking is too expensive!!! My husband and I recently stayed at the Maldron Hotel-Parnell Square for 3 nights, and we are both very pleased with our stay. The staff (with the exception of one bartender) was friendly, and we found the hotel to be in a convenient location, as it is very close to O'Connell Street, but it is NOT in the middle of the city. You must enjoy walking if […] you plan on using this hotel as a base for your trip to Dublin. It takes only about 10 minutes to walk from the Airlink stop (we used Airlink747 to and from the airport and found it VERY convenient). When you get off the bus, walk straight towards O'Connell street and turn right. Turn left onto Parnell Street (where there's a large statue), then right onto Parnell Square, and the hotel is the last building on the right. The bed was very comfortable, however the pillows were hard as rocks (this seemed to be the trend though in all 6 hotels we stayed at while in Europe). You do need to leave the key in a slot to turn the power on to the room, which is a nice effort to go "green." We didn't need the A/C while we were there, but if you go in the summer months, just make sure you get two keys so you can leave the A/C running during the day while you are out and about. The TV only gets like 6 channels, and to turn it on, you have to a punch a number (any number) on the remote. Isn't that weird? We had to call the front desk to find that out. If you like to walk, don't waste your money on a bus pass. We literally walked everywhere (all the way to Kilmainham Gaol!) and enjoyed the scenery and buildings that we passed. We never got food in the hotel, but the pizza place across the street (labeled as "Probably the best pizza in Ireland") was shockingly good! The area around the hotel was a little skivvy at night, but that's usually the case in a big city. The free broadband was a giant plus for us. The bathroom was large and clean, and the bedroom was a decent size. We would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Dublin. Mehr
