Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 20. Feb. 2013Alles in allem ein angenehmer Aufenthalt. Sauber, ruhig, in der Nähe einer Mall und direkt am Interstate. Ansonsten eher abgelegen, ohne Auto geht da gar nichts. Das einzig wirklich ärgerliche war, dass das karge Fühstück bis 9.00 Uhr gehen soll und z.T. schon 10 Minuten vorher abgeräumt wurde. Für solche, die auf den letzten Drücker kamen: Pech. Und das waren einige.

"Very nice for events at or near Phillips Arena."
We were in town for a concert. This was close enough to Phillips Arena that we left the car at the hotel and walked. There is a parking fee for the hotel, but at least we didn't have to pay to park at the arena, too. I would have given the quality of service a 5, but we on the morning we checked out, one of the housekeeping staff knocked on our door […] at 9 am to see if we had left yet. Then it took 30 minutes to get our car from the valet. I can't say they were rude or inept, it was just annoying to feel rushed out of the room only to have to wait on your car for so long. "We Will Stay Here Again"
The Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Atlanta, GA was outstanding. The location is perfect- across the street from the aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, and Centennial Park, and a short walk to CNN. Lots of restaurants and entertainment nearby too. The staff was very courteous. Great for kids- indoor and outdoor pool, with a beautiful view. We ate the hotel's […] breakfast once and ate at Legal Seafood, both of which are right in the hotel. There was even FREE cab service to the zoo and back, with Checkered Cab company. Clean, well appointed rooms, fun, but tasteful aquarium themed decor throughout, fast elevators, free coffee in the lobby in the morning, and fresh baked cookies every evening. The room had sleep number beds and Keurig coffee makers, a microwave and fridge, which were all very convenient, especially for a family with children. Overall, I was quite disappointed in this Hilton in comparison to other Hilton hotels I have stayed. This is an older building where the bathroom tiles looked quite dirty, there was no fan in the bathroom, and rest of the accommodations offered by the hotel was average. I was very happy with our stay at this hotel. The front desk was extremely nice and helpful. They even gave both of my kids little gifts. Our room was nice. Loved that it had a refrig and microwave. The Keurig was an added bonus that we loved too! This hotel is right across the street from the Aquarium and Coke museum. So, the location is perfect if […] you plan to visit those places. We took our breakfast with us since the reviews stated the breakfast was expensive. And, we didn't mind the $20 parking fee per day either. We would've paid that for parking anywhere downtown. The only negative thing I would have to say is the indoor pool was very cold. It's a pretty small pool but it would've been nice if it were heated. I would definitely stay at this hotel again! It was a good stay, the room was clean but our room smelled a but like someone was smoking inside. And also the parking was expensive, we thought that since its close to everything we can save on the parking fees but it was almost as expensive as if we drove around. "Best downtown location"
This was an ideal location for visiting the local downtown tourist sites, we saw and did everything we intended without renting a car, the Aquarium, Coke Cola, CNN Tower, were relatively close to the MARTA to go to Lenox and Art Museum, and recently the Zoo offers cab rides to and from Downtown Hotels. The staff at Hilton were unbelievably friendly […] and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and although the room unit was on the loud side and the bathroom was a little outdated, the shower pressure was excellent as well as the morning breakfast and dinner at Legal Seafoods was delicious. My husband, 4 yr old daughter, and I went to Atlanta for 6 days (staying at this hotel 5 nights). The hotel staff was wonderful and polite. The Hilton name (hotel) fulfilled my expectations.
