haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, ziemlich zentral gelegen , Frühstück war spitze und eine gute Grundlage für den Tag. Betten waren sehr gut.Sehr nettes Personal.

Das Hotel wurde renoviert, dabei hat man aber einige Zimmer vergessen. Die Türklinken sind lose, die Tapete kommt von de Wand, die Decke hatte Wasserflecken. Das Badezimmer war ausrechend, leider war die Dusche nicht wirklich sauber. Das Team war sehr hilfreich und nett, die Lage ist sensationell. Aufgrund eines guten Angebotes war es insgesamt ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Gemessen an den vier Sternen waren die Eindrücke jedoch enttäuschend. Netter Service - Fehlanzeige. Zimmer sehr, sehr klein. Diese waren immerhin sauber, aber offensichtlich seit Jahren nicht mehr renoviert worden. Im ersten Zimmer gab es eine defekte Toilettenspülung, […] so dass wir ein neues Zimmer erhielten. Dort wiederum gab es einen defekten Safe. Dieser wurde während des gesamten Restaufenthaltes nicht repariert. Frühstück auch für italienische Verhältnisse sehr mau. Lage grundsätzlich gut, da nahe am Hauptbahnhof und somit eine gute Verkehrsanbindung besteht. Für den normalen Preis würde ich von diesem Hotel eher abraten. Mehr

Sehr kleines Zimmer, Mini-Kleiderschrank und das für 2 Personen, verschmutzter Teppichboden und eine NICHT funktionierende Klimaanlage. Auf unsere Beschwerde hin haben wir sofort ein anderes Zimmer auf derselben Etage erhalten. Hier funktionierte die Klimaanlage einwandfrei, das Zimmer war glücklicherweise mit Steinfußboden ausgestattet, auch der Kleiderschrank […] war ausreichend groß. Im Bad hatte sich leider großflächig an verschiedenen Stellen der Wand Schimmel breitgemacht. Sogar im Fön (Blasrohr) war Schimmel! Das Zimmer war insgesamt sehr hellhörig. Das mitgebuchte Frühstücksbuffet war zum Abgewöhnen: Pappige Brötchen, Kaffee kam lauwarm! aus dem Automaten, die Milch wäßrig (auch aus dem Automaten), minimale Auswahl am Buffet. Ab dem 2. Tag haben wir auswärts gegessen. Der einzige Lichtblick war das Personal: allesamt ausgeprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit! Leider reicht das nicht - deswegen: nie wieder Champagne Garden! Ich fahre seit über 20 Jahren nach Rom und habe in 3Sterne Hotels gewohnt die qualitativ weit besser waren als dieses 4Sterne Hotel! Mehr

Das Hotel ist okay und soweit sauber, aber doch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Für mich war es höchstens 3-Sterne-Kategorie. Die Klimaanlage war auch schon recht alt, sehr laut und hat kaum Kälte produziert. Für meinen nächsten Trip würde ich ein neueres 4-5 Sterne buchen.

Mit 5 Gehminuten vom Hauptbahnhof Termini entfernt, liegt das Hotel sehr zentral und ist ideal für Ausflüge in die Altstadt geeignet. Hotel ist gleich in der Nähe des Banhofes Termini, in der Nähe des Hotels findet man relativ gut Parkmöglichkeiten mit dem Auto, was zentrumsnaher immer schwieriger wird. Vom Termini kann man mit öffentlichen Buslinien und den Opentourbussen ( Tip: 110open ist die günstigste Stadtrundahrts-Linie, weil diese zu den römischen Verkehrsbetrieben gehört) […] git starten, aber auch einfach weiter Richung Zentrum laufen. Die Angestellten sind sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel entspricht vielleicht nicht wirklich den deutschen Kriterien für 4 Sterne, aber das Personal war stets freundlich und hilfreich. Auch für unsere Fahrräder wurde ein sicherer Platz gefunden. the payment to hotels.com suppose to cover the tax already. But the hotel still charged 6 euros tax. I just found out after I left Rome. The street is not very safe. Fake police stopped me and ask for passport. Suggest not to live in this neighborhood.

The the hotel was very pretty with pleasant staff and a great location but I have very mixed feelings about this place. The thermostat didn't work so the options were either constant heat, cold, or no air. So to balance the heat I had to keep the window cracked open which only made for waves of heat and cold and made sleeping difficult. Speaking of […] the large window, I was on the ground level so there was blind on the other side of the window that blocked nearly everything. Essentially it looked like a window but was essentially another wall. As I mentioned earlier the hotel is beautiful inside but my room was oddly arranged... there was a small desk nearly blocking the entry. To enter my room I had to carry my luggage over top of the desk as I squeezed by. Overall it wasn't a horrible experience but it wasn't great one either... as I said earlier very mixed feelings. A good value for the money. Had to pay for Wifi and it only worked down in the lobby very well. The room was decorated in a Victorian way which was pretty, but I had a single room and it was cramped. There was only 1 electrical plug which was used for the TV, lamp, and then anything I needed to charge. The bathroom was tight, but pretty with marble […] walls and a rectangular shower which was easier than the traditional triangle ones, which are very hard to shower in they are sooooooo small. The walls were thin and I could hear the person snoring next door in the night. The bed was comfy. Breakfast was yummy. It only took me about 5 minutes to get to the train station, Metro, and buses. I booked a single room for 2 nights. This was my second stay in Rome for this vacation, and I have traveled to Rome on several occasions, so I get it--hotel rooms are small and efficient. This one...well it was the size of a walk in closet. One side of the room had a single bed smashed in between a desk at one end and the mini-bar/15"tv There is BBC […] news and CNN on the tv for English speakers who need a morning news fix. There was about 2 feet of floor space beside the bed and that was it! So yeah, a closet with en-suite bath! The bathroom was fine--marble with shower only, bidet and toilet, minimal soap and shampoo. The room was clean, the service from the front desk was friendly and attentive. Slow Internet only works in a lounge downstairs for a fee. Free breakfast was minimal, but avoid the coffee machine unless you have a taste for instant coffee. Very convenient to Termini Mehr

Best thing about the hotel is its location, close to the central railway station while still being in a decent neighborhood. Another big plus was how quiet it was with the windows closed. There was some small evidence of deferred maintenance but overall very fair deal for the price. It's not a four star hotel or the Taj but it is still pretty nice.

This hotel has a great location, close to the main rail station just off a quiet square. The staff were great & very helpful. The room's decor was tired but the hotel is due for renovation in August which should hopefully sort the only minor down side.

This is listed as a 4 star hotel...but is a really a stretch to call it a 3 star. That being said, It's clean, the breakfast is decent (yes even the instant coffee machine is not that bad), and if you're like me, you will book it for it's functionality...it's convenient to the Termini train station (about 3 blocks & you can roll your suitcases on the […] sidewalks - took us less than 10 minutes), it's in a relatively quiet neighborhood considering it's proximity to the Termini. We did get the "dreaded room" across from the check-in desk talked about in other posts, and yes you could hear voices, but it was not that bad...and during our stay, we were not disturbed during "sleeping hours" by front desk noises. So if you want a fancy hotel...forget it...but if you have specific needs, like being near the train station (we drove to Rome from Siena and dropped off a rental car at the train station, and a few days later caught the train to the airport...perfect for our needs), then this is your place. Hotel Champagne Garden in Rome is a good place to stay. Clean and adequate for the price. Close to the Termini Station and some restaurants. A quick walk to the Metro Underground. Staff was extremely helpful and thoughtful. Adequate breakfast - would have preferred real coffee to the machine! I would definitely recommend this hotel for the price.

Nice little place close to Termini. Its 3 blocks from the via Marsala exit from Termini. Room was a bit small but I guess this is the norm for central Rome. Staff was friendly, we left our bags after check-out until 5 pm.. Breakfast is included in the room rate. Definitely recommend for travelers looking for a centrally located hotel.

Cleanliness: They dont know what is that. Comfort of my room: Shower was not working...bathroom was still under costruction and they probably havent noticed that I believe they dont CARE at all what customer satisfaction means.

What I liked about this hotel is its location: three blocks from Termini Station (which is why I selected it). I felt area is safe. Nice staff. Vincenso at the front desk was very nice and helpful pointing out train stops / streets and main attractions on a map he handed out to us.
