Das Hotel liegt an der Hauptattraktion Jardin de la Union. Unbedingt Zimmer mit Blick auf den Jardin. Alle anderen Zimmer sind absolut fensterlos. Nicht einmal Innenfenster. Aber der Jardin ist von Sonnenuntergang bis Sonnenaufgang krachend laut. Also lieber gleich mitmachen. Room is small and bed is too small for two but typical of MX standard Matrimonial size bed. Bath room is tiny. Can be noisy late at night due to music below but didn't bother us as we loved the atmosphere and the location is perfect enjoying Guanajuato in el Centro location...can walk anywhere. The hotel was centrally located in the center of all the action. It was perfect, clean and the staff was friendly. We also received two free drinks which was a plus. It literally is in the center of everything going on in the night. You can step out of your hotel and be in the plaza and ready for the callejonadas in the night.

We enjoy stating at Santa Fe is in the main attraction that is surrounded everything we do recommended

I stay at this hotel only for 3 nights (thank God), all these days the Hotel was full and the capacity of the water heater can't accommodate full capacity. Every single day, I will complain and the management keep on giving us irrational excuses. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this Hotel.

Stairs looked like they hadn't been vacuumed or dusted in months. There was thick dust on the headboard of the bed, and on the trim in the bathroom. The mariachi band playing outside the front door of the hotel until 11 pm made sleep impossible. Food served in the restaurant arrived at the table cold at dinner and breakfast.

Service is good, food is good, rooms are small, RR are small. Beds are very hard. Just mattress on hard wooden boards. Besides that, excellent location in the center of the city.

Love this hotel for location, employees and ambience. The worst beds of any hotel of its caliber. They are rock hard. But I still go back.

Definitely it needs some air, but everything else was PERFECT, EXCELLENT. Definitely I would recommend it and even go back to the same hotel.

in 100 degree weather, air conditioning certainly would have been a plus!! the night front desk staff was very rude to my nephew who arrived late and to me on the phone.

Comfortable older hotel in the middle of the action, people nice & let us choose out of 2 rooms which was great. No elevator , no in room wifi, but it was so convenient.

The hotel is located in the central square where you can walk right out into the middle of the action. The hotel is basic with regards to appearance. Comfort and service is mediocre. There are very little perquisites offered such as continental breakfast and comped meals. Do not expect these. The hotel has a parking lot. There is a wonderful roof-top […] view of the surrounding city. If you want to travel back and forth to your hotel room often throughout the day, then this is the place to stay. If you want top rate comfort and service, either stay further from the center or be prepared to pay much more for another centrally located hotel. Mehr

Old but with a great location. Needs a remodel but well worth the price. Finding their parking lot is a challenge.

Very nice hotel, which keeps the old mexican style. We booked two rooms and they were clean, very comfortable beds, with flat TV 32" screen, WiFi, among other things. The hotel is just in the heart of Guanajuato. Food is good in the restaurant downstair.

every thing was close and very convinient. coffee at loby -hard to find internet acsess was so slow page expires. hotel was old but they could do some alternation to it like new carpet or shower cortain. food was no good at all.

I really liked the hotel. The location was excellent as it was within walking distance to many of the must see sights in Guanajuato. The only downfall was no elevator, and we had to carry our luggage up to the second floor.

This is an excellently located hotel, right on the Jardin, the central plaza of Guanajuato. The staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel was quite nice, reasonably priced, and centrally located. It was very convenient to be right in the center of the town and the plaza in front of the hotel is lovely. However, it is very loud there. You can hear the noise of the plaza, but it is nothing compared to the very loud bells ringing what seemed like every five minutes starting early […] in the morning. The other issue was that the room was not air conditioned. I generally don't have a problem with that, but it was very hot and there was no air flow in the room. A fan would have been nice and may have helped drown out the loud bells. In summary, I would recommend this hotel, but bring earplugs and be prepared for the heat. Mehr

I would never rate this hotel a 3 star hotel. For the price of the room, I would have expected so much more from the hotel. Big room, cheapest furniture I have ever seen in any hotel room. Had the best time. This Hotel was close to many beautiful places so you don't have to travel far to have a good time. I was totally stay here again.

Overall I found Posada Santa Fe to be a pleasant Hotel in which to stay. I will have say up front that if you are a light sleeper this hotel might not be for you, as the street noise (if facing the street of course) will infiltrate into your room (the sliding glass doors do a decent job at cutting down the noise). I personally love being in the mix […] of things (I don't mind the mariachis playing at 2am outside my window) and this centrally located hotel was just what I was looking for. Room service was good and the front desk staff was always very helpful. The beds in the rooms are not the most comfortable beds but they are at par with other beds in similar hotels throughout Mexico. Lastly, I would skip eating at this particular hotel as there are much better restaurants in the same area. I would definitely consider this hotel as a top option for my next visit. Mehr

Everything was wonderful. The only negative was the noise. Our room was right avove a busy street.It may not be so bad in times other than Festival Cervantion.

Lo recomiendo. Si quieres ir de fiesta es la mejor opción porque no tienes que pagar taxi. Caminando llegas a todas las atracciones .

Muy buen hotel, ubicado en la mejor zona de Guanajuato, justo en el centro, todo te queda a muy pocos minutos a pie, el teatro Juarez, las momias, los callejones famosos, la universidad, restaurantes, etc. Las habitaciones son muy silenciosas, tiene mini estacionamiento

muy buena ubicacion si lo que se quiere es estar cerca de la parte historica de la ciudad y poder seleccionar restaurantes y bares y si no duerme temprano no molestará la musica a veces hasta la 1 am en el jardin union

No es posible que en el hotel una vez que te hospedas, ya no puedas salir en tu auto porque el hotel no cuenta con estacionamiento y te piden que tu pagues un estacionamiento externo

El hotel esta situado en un excelente punto de la ciudad.

Nunca nos destaparon bien la tina del baño y resultó molesto e incómodo al bañarse porque el agua nos llegaba hastala rodilla. El restaurante es carísimo y malo.

Excelente ubicación, ubicadisimo si lo que buscas es estar en el corazón de Guanajuato este es el sitio ideal , las estudiantinas salen a 20 mts del hotel , tienen estacionamiento reducido pero esto ya es un plus en Guanajuato con un poco de suerte encuentras sitio para tu auto te lo estaciona personal del hotel y te olvidas del coche que Guanajuato […] es una ciudad de a pie, solo un gran punto en contra de este hotel NO tiene elevador y la decoración en general del hotel se queda un poco corta para un 3 estrellas, por lo demás en relación costo beneficio ,creo que esta compensado. Excelente ubicación, se llega caminando a casi todo lo importante, buen ambiente y buen restaurante.

El hotel se encuentra en el corazón de las dos ciudades históricas superpuestas de Guanajuato, junto al Jardín de la Unión, su pulmón más animado.

Un muy buen hotel, buen servicio, excelente ubicación, habitación con todo lo necesario y muy silenciosa, limpia, tanto la habitación como el baño, empleados muy amables. Me agradó mucho. Gracias.

Compare with another hotels in Mexico, I do not think they have service. Attitude to customer, it was like back packer hostel. Porter, they just asked a lot of tips. This hotel has only good point about its location. Other point, I can't recommend my friends to stay and enjoy this hotel.

No puede estar mejor ubicado y con estacionamiento propio. (solo caben 9 autos) Edificio antigüo con sabor colonial ubicado en un hermoso parque a un costado del teatro Juárez. Lo recomiendo ampliamente

Lo mejor del hotel es dónde está situado. En el centro, con todo a mano, muy animado, estupendo para ir caminando a todos los callejones. Es un hotele muy bonito, y aunque se nota que está un poco viejo lo mantienen bien, está muy limpio y dan un buen servicio. Muy agradable para pasar unos días en Guanajuato.

Muy buen hotel, agrada a la vista, el restaurante my bueno y la atencion muy amable de las personas que trabajan ahi.
