Sehr grosszügige saubere Zimmer, mit schöner Anlage und nahe Joshua Tree Park. Alles was man braucht ist innerhalb von 10 min mit dem Auto erreichbar. Sehr ruhig, man kann dort gut ausspannen. Wifi und kostenloser Parkplatz inclusive. Insgesamt im Vergleich zu anderen Motels wirklich empfehlenswert.

Waren bereits 2010 in diesem Motel, Mitten im Stadtcentrum,viele Aktivitäten ohne Auto möglich,Motel ist sehr Inviduell,hat einen mediteranen Stiel mit vielen verwinkelten Ecken,die mit Blumen und Pflanzen zum Erholen einlade ,guter Reiseabschluß bevor der Rückflug von Los Angeles erfogt

Palm Canyon Resort liegt in Palm Springs in der Nähe von: Indian Canyon, Moorten Botanical Garden and Cactarium und Agua Caliente Cultural Museum. Nicht weit entfernt befinden sich: Plaza Theatre und Palm Springs Art Museum.

The cleanliness of the room was not good, two out of five days we have no cleaning service.

"Canyon Resort - junior suite"
Beautiful rooms available but we had one of the smaller rooms for this resort - lots of room for a usual king bed. Enjoyed it very much compared to upscale chain hotels. Knowing that they were time shares helped with our expectations but we had a great time and wished that we had more nights there. Our two week stay was most enjoyable; the staff was very pleasant and helpful, the suite comfortable but found the cushions in the chairs and chesterfield soft and the kitchen supplies were adequate but would have liked more silverware, a few more dishes, i.e. small fruit dishes, tea pot and tea kettle. Overall this is a great villa hotel resort. The rooms are slightly rundown but very clean, the hotel staff was wonderful but I can't say enough good things about the pool and spa. Well worth the price! I would stay there again and again!
"Close to downtown and Tour de Palm Springs"
This is the third time we have stayed at the Palm Canyon Resort for the weekend cycling event called the Tour de Palm Springs. We pay a little extra (even after sharing the unit with another couple) to stay here because it is a very good location where we can be relaxed when we are not riding. We use the kitchen for our breakfast and snacks and enjoy […] lounging around the TV in the evening. "Palm Canyon"
Wonderful pool, and the room was clean, you need a car to go into Palm Springs. One problem though, I left my I-phone charger and when I called back to say I wanted to pick it up, they told me it wasn't there. It was obviously stolen by the clearning crew, and so it gave me a bad feeling about our stay.

The room was clean, but its old and is need of some renovations. Kitchen frying pan in terrible condition, went out and bought a new one.

We had an excellent comfortable spacious room. Only drawback was that the checkout was at 10am. Way too early for a Sunday morning!

Everyone at the hotel (all staff) which included hotel check-in; ground keepers; bar tenders were extremely nice and always helpful and very pleasant! I was so pleased and would recommend this hotel to anyone and I will come back to this resort! The pool is beautiful and grounds are kept up perfectly!! We had a one bedroom suite which was very large […] and comfortable. The only thing I would suggest is that they need a gift shop in case you need some essentials. Pictures are misleading, sleeps 4 means one room and a roll out couch, would like to have had an option for another rollaway bed,but they don't have them. check out is at 10 am too early, 11:00 am would be nice and they don't give you your deposit back the day you check out,.. it takes 2 weeks... still waiting? They count thet owels you can use for […] the pool and you have to park on the street if your car is over 6ft, so no SUV's by your room you have to drag all your luggage from the street to your room, no bell boys and no help. Breakfast bar at the pool was the only restaurant and it closed at 8 but Saturaday morning the 3rd we had the nicest man working the pool restaurant. Congrats to him. So I tipped him well. ANd taliking tips...how rude of the hotel to leave an envelope for maid fee's on the coffee table. We never got maid service cause we don't want people in out room. Mehr

"first time great, second time horrible"
first time we stayed here things could'nt have been any better, second time & last time was terrible, upon check in staff was very rude, it was a hispanic late 20's man, room was not real clean, asked for a pool view, got 3rd floor behind volcano & palm trees, thought we had found a new resort to vacation at, guess we'll have to keep searching dissapointed […] in Ventura Ca....... "Disappointing hotel"
This place is horrible. We stayed here June 25-26. We arrived at the hotel just before 10am on Saturday. When we got to the front desk to ask if we could check-in early, this lady gave me a whole lecture about check-in time being at 4pm. But she still checked if there was an available room. When she gave us a room, she made us feel as if she was doing […] as a favor by checking us in early. She was also very rude during the check-in process and kept telling the guy behind us the she will be with him shortly. Hello, how about you finish the checking us in first before talking to the person behind us? So after check-in, we went to our room. I booked a 2 bedroom villa. For the amount of money we paid for, the room is very disappointing. We had to ask housekeeping to change the sheets on all the beds because they stink. The bath tub was also clogged. I can't tell you how nasty it is to take a shower with water accumulating in the tub and not draining properly. The pool area is nice, however the bartenders, servers, and lifeguards are so strict it's so hard to have fun. And the drinks they serve at the bar by the pool is so watered down, you probably have to buy 20 drinks to get a buzz. Not worth it. We came here to celebrate one of my cousin's kid's birthday. We were in their room eating and talking and having a great time when the security guy came knocking and told us we were loud. The time was 7:30pm. 7:30pm!!! We don't even have any music playing. Just talking. It's not our fault they made their walls THIN. And don't even get me started about the 10am checkout. That is too early for checkout. 4pm check-in and 10 am checkout? That's too short of a time. If you stay here overnight The only good thing was when the parking permit guy gave me 2 parking permits. He said he was only supposed to give us one but I asked NICELY if I can get another one since a friend of mine drove separately and he was nice enough to give me an extra one. I like the resort. However, there we lots of bugs inside and outside of the rooms. Some people were compensated with vouchers, I was not. And rooms are not always maintained for working appliances, 2 lights were not working and one part of the stove was broken.

Girls weekend, stayed in a junior suite Friday-Sunday, mid-20's. Easiest way I can do this is to list pros and cons. Pros: *Really nice pool with an awesome waterslide. No, it's not just for kids, we had a blast. *Poolside bar that also serves food from the onsite restaurant. Prices are very reasonable and food was good. *Nice rooms - large closet, […] large bathroom with dual sinks, large balcony, and a perfect little kitchen complete with a sink, stovetop, microwave, mini fridge, toaster oven, plates, silverware, glasses, etc. *Nice staff, very helpful *Decent rates Cons: *On the weekends the pool is seriously crowded. It took a while to find 2 open lounge chairs. It's loud with a LOT of kids. If you are looking for serene and tranquil with a guaranteed spot in the sun, this is not the place. *Really late check in (4pm) and really early check out (10am). Plus you can't use the amenities, i.e. the pool, after you check out, so 2 of your days in the sun are almost wasted. *About 3 miles from the fun places in downtown - too far to walk. If you plan on going downtown a lot for shopping, dining, or bars, save yourself the $15 cab ride each way, and stay someplace right in the heart of downtown. Mehr

"Palm Canyon Resort-one stop playground for the fam"
We really liked our stay here. It was a great place for the kids which in turn made us happy. We have been to other resorts where we had to keep the kids busy even in the pool but Palm Canyon resort's pool kept our kids busy for three days so my wife and I could relax. And relax we did, we sat close to the bar and enjoyed cocktails and the view. We […] laid around the whole time enjoying some personal time. The only con was when we were trying to leave our room on checkout (a few minutes late of course) we were constantly bothered by housekeeping and maintenance because they wanted to get in the room to clean and maintain. The constant interuptions delayed us even further, they even called our room constantly and when we didn't pick up they called my cell phone. We stayed here with some friends in a 'villa'. We were under the impression that it had two bedrooms. When we arrived, we were disappointed that the other 'bedroom' was a sofabed. The kitchen and cleanliness were great and it was very spacious. The air conditioning, while it worked was quite loud and kept us up all night with loud noises.

10 minutes from downtown Palm Springs. Off the main path and down a side road. Area was quiet. Check in was quick. No flexibility on getting a pool view room. We were there for 3 nights during weekdays.Room was good in size. Lighting switches were not very user friendly. Refrigerator made constant noise and towels were scratchy and a little bit permanently […] soiled. No free Wi-Fi. LOT'S of kids. Great pool area for kids with slides. No personal sodas,waters or drinks allowed in pool area. Only purchased ones from the bar . Pretty good work out room and indoor basketball area. Very out-of-the-way quiet neighborhood with a nice pool view from the balcony. Spacious apartment-like feel. Furnishings are quite low quality, but you get a kitchen & a balcony for a reasonable price. Showing some rough spots of age, but the bed & pillows were comfy and clean. "Palm Valley Resort was a nice stay overall"
I stayed at this hotel while attending the Indian Wells Tennis Tournament. It is a bit of a drive for that event, but most hotels close to the tennis event are twice the price or more. My room was a junior villa that had a kitchen, dining table and four chairs, stove, dishes, pots and pans, even wine glasses, along with a microwave and small fridge. […] The view of the adjacent mountain and snow-capped peaks was beautiful. I only rated it low on cleanliness as there was a small smudge on one of the sheets.
