have stayed here before and always prefer Laurel Point. Staff is great and condos are clean and reasonable

We liked the location because it was a mile or two away from the "madness" of downtown Gatlinburg, yet close enough to all we wanted to do and see. The unit was well equipped with every imaginable convenience, including a jetted tub which was very welcomed after a day of hiking in the Smokies. The layout of the unit was spacious, with plenty of room […] to spread out and enjoy meals, relaxing, etc. The units were arranged in such a way that the balcony was entirely private, offering a nice view of the mountains while enjoying coffee in the morning, without having to worry about the awkwardness of seeing anyone else on neighboring balconies...very well designed! All this, combined with a very attractive rate, resulted in an extremely satisfying lodging experience. We would recommend this property without reservation. Mehr

There was not adequate room in the shower. The toilet and shower needs to be larger or expanded. The appliances can stand to be updated. Overall even though it was an older hotel, it supplied the comforts of home.

I loved the size of the room for the price is was awesome. the only complaint that i have is that the water pressure was low. nice place.

My family and I have traveled to the Smoky Mountains numerous times and usually stay in town at a hotel. I was so thrilled when I received an email from hotels.com and found your resort. I hope I can stay here on all future trips. Plenty of room with privacy balcony off of the living room and bedroom. I did not have one bad experience during my stay. If you want to go into town to walk around, just drive down and park behind the Moonshine place for $5.00. Free parking at a lot of the restaurants. This was a very nice resort for my family to stay in. The only thing i did not like is that we had to drive because it was not within walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg.

Hotel was great and so was the staff. The only problems i could see were the hotel furniture a little older ( say 80's), the couch was worn out in the middle and sagged. I saw a cable cord hidden behind a thin piece of plastic around the master bathroom door (instead of in the wall where its suposed to go), you know the kind of plastic that business […] use to hide cords in the office. My socks and my sons socks turned black (on bottom) after walking around on carpets in rooms. But it had great views but were really nice from C building. Not that far from Gatlinburg, just down the mountain a mile or so, at the very end by the park. Overall i would reccomend this hotel to families and friends and have already done so. Mehr

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was very quiet yet very close to downtown Gatlinburg and the state parks. It was a very good value as well and will stay there again.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit. it is very spacious and the veiw from the balcony was great! the units could definately use some updating. although the room needed updating it was maintained well. it was in a very quiet location up a mountain. the entrance is right at a turn but wasnt to bad getting in and out. the staff was friendly. they do […] not offer maid service but you can get new towels and linen and other essentials mon-thurs. mornings. Check in and check out was a breeze. I would definately stay here again and would reccomend it to others. Mehr

The condo is in the mountains so not convenient to Gatlinburg but it was great sitting on the patio enjoying the scenary. The hot tub and pool area were nice and clean. If I had one thing to complain about is the sofabed. My son had to take the cusions off of the couch and put on the mattress because the springs were coming through the mattress.

This place made our vacation! It was so nice and clean. The kids were excited about having thier own room and bathroom and had a blast in the jacuzzi tub. You can not beat the views. We would definitely stay here again!

Great room and great price

Hotel was great for the price. The only downfall was the curvey mountain it is located on makes for a nervous drive

Had a great time. Very nice place to stay, plenty of room, nice and clean, full kitchen, friendly staff. Close to downtown, will definitely stay again in the future.

We had a great time. The coach could of been more comfortable.

My husband and I visited the resort for our anniversary. We both absolutely loved it. We definitely will be back in the summer with the kids.

We had a great time and had tons of space. The staff were very nice and responsive to questions. The rooms were clean and well equipped. The only thing was that the cabinets and couter tops were outdated but that was no big deal. The only other problem was that it was further out of town than I anticipated and having to drive and park was a bit of a […] hassle especially since it was a holiday weekend and very bust. The resort staff was excellent and the resort was well maintained even though the property was dated. Excellent view of the surrounding mountains. The resort was only 5 minutes away from the ski area.

We are never disappointed with our stay a Laurel Point! The place is always clean. Employees are extremely friendly. We love this place and will continue to make our reservations with them.

Away from hustle and town noise, but a close drive to the downtown area. Very comfortble, a very nice place.

Awesome place, friendly staff, well worth the $. Had a great time. Daughter enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. Highly recommend.

GREAT PLACE WILL STAY THERE AGAIN

It was great for the price. Not as nice as some I've stayed in, but very clean and definately worth the price. I would stay there again.

I have now stayed at 3 different condos in the area and this is the best deal. Convenient location, clean rooms, and a fair price. The indoor pool/hot tub was also nice. I will stay here again when I don't stay in cabins.

Location close to downtown w/o all the noise. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Condo was well kept with great space and contained all you need Wonderful stay, recommend to all

Super nice. Very clean. Looks just like pics. or better. Quiet. Only a short ride down the mountain to main strip in Gatlinburg. Only 2 mins. up mountain to Ober ski resort. Can't beat location or Price!

We enjoyed our stay overall. It was too far to walk to downtown which was a drag, however it was very quiet at night. Beautiful views from our balcony and nice wood-burning fireplace. The decor is a bit dated accented by 'grandma's' drapes and bed covers. Be prepared to 'fend for yourselves' no maid service and you must clean your unit prior to check-out, […] including the fireplace.The unit was huge and the spa tub could fit four. The pool was heated and we relaxed in the sauna and hot tub. The cost per night was attractive and if you have kids and are on a budget they have full kitchens (save on dining out) and separate bedroom with two twin beds and TV. One more caveat. I really hated the 10am check out time. We had to get up extra early to pack and clean. Mehr

location was great , had plenty of room,little old but in good shape, I would stay again, strict on check in time

Despite the fact that none of us liked the really old looking carpet, and the slight smell which I attributed to the fireplace, this hotel was the best of 3 I've stayed in over the last year. If you've stayed in Gatlinburg you know it is is filled with older hotels. All 3 places I've stayed need updating, but Laurel Point Resort by far the nicest in […] its price range. It also helped that I stumbled across a deal when booked the room, which equaled the room rates on Historic drive where I've previously stayed. All in all, the wife was happy, so I am as well. Mehr

We was pleased with the space we had. it had a nice senic view of the Tram that passed over us. the location wasnt what we were told...we were told that it was a 5 min walk to down town......we asked for a ground level room due to a child with a disability, plus house keeping wasnt always available so we didnt have the linens needed for the stay so […] we went and bought for the room...but the room was nice and clean and well maintained all but the jaz, it didnt work at all Mehr

Very great staff and spacious. Also very close to the main parkway and several attractions. Definently enjoyed the stay!

We loved staying at Laurel Point. We definitely got more than our moneys worth. The rooms were well maintained, spacious, clean, and comfortable. I missed not having a washer/dryer in the room but we knew this ahead of time and packed accordingly. We intend to stay here again.

Clean and a lot of space!! We were able to stay a mile from downtown Gatlinburg and still have a great trip because this place was great! Upon arrival the staff was very nice and our room was very clean. I love that our daughter had her own room, so my husband and I were able to get some alone time. The kitchen was fully stocked for what we needed to […] cook! And the view was awesome!! The indoor pool was very spacious and the recreation room served as a perfect escape when it rained. We stayed at Laurel Point for three days while seeing the Smoky Mountains, and it was very nice.The 2 bed 2 bath condos are older but well maintained. Plenty of space, clean, great views from balcony. Very pleasant staff. Probably the best aspect is location--Gatlinburg is very much a tourist town and crowded, but drive a mile out of town to Laurel […] Point and you're in a quiet, secluded mountain area. Conversely, drive a mile from Laurel Point into Gatlinburg and you have a good selection of restaurants. Very quick drive into the Smokys. One thing about Gatlinburg and the Smokys--don't pay too much attention to the Gatlinburg weather forecasts as they change constantly. Also, it can be raining or foggy in Gatlinburg and sunny in the middle of the park. I picked the resort out of an internet listing so I was a little apprehensive, but we liked it so much we stayed an additional night (check availability early if you want to do that--it fills up, even in late March). My son brought his X -box 360 to play at night as there are televisions in the family room and each bedroom. When we go back to Gatlinburg we'll stay at Laurel Point. Mehr

Beautiful view and lots of Privacy. We were extremely pleased with the resort staff. They were very friendly and helpful. The accomodations were spacious and all rooms were exceptionally clean.
