Loved the hotel!! It was clean and had all the extras available

Great ammenities. My only complaint is about people claiming pool chairs. We would look down from our balcony and at 8am chairs were already reserved with towles. Often hours would go by without a person sitting on the chairs. They need to put up a sign that says no reserving chairs. The pool area was beautiful with heated pools. A little pricey, but fantastic location and fantastic rooms. All rooms have an oceanfront view so there's no chances of getting any substandard rooms for discounted rates. Poolside is just as great with lots of pools, saunas and a lazy river. Cant think of anything wrong with the place!

Bathroom sinks poor drainage !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my stay here on march break 2012 was ok they have an awesome pool area very beautiful the rooms are ok they are very dated they seem clean but with being so dated it was hard to tell i would probably spend the extra money to stay elsewhere next time just because they are so dated it was pleasant and they beds seemed fine again the walls were a little […] dingy because of age and all the rooms are carpeted while alot of places are going to tile if they spent the money this would be an awesome hotel like i said they have an awesome pool area if you are looking for an economical choice then this is it ! We decided to stay at Beach Cove because it offered a suite style room with an indoor pool at a low rate. There are a lot of positive notes about this hotel. First off, all the rooms at Beach Cove Resort are oceanfront. They have a great bar in the lobby that specializes in martinis. The hotel is situated in a good neighborhood in North Myrtle Beach but is not too far from various restaurants and attractions. Also, the hotel allows all guests to park in it's own parking deck. On a less positive note, many parts of the hotel are "broken." The lamps above the bed in our room did not work. The shower head did not work properly. The elevator in the parking deck did not work during our stay as well. Overall, it was a good resort for the decent rate. Mehr

The Beach Cove Resort was perfect for the needs of my wife and myself. The room looked out on beach. THe location was perfect for places to shop and eat. The beds were comfortable (2 double beds in the one bedroom place). The kitchen area had everything we need to eat-in. We plan to stay here again.

Just wish we had more time to stay. Very nice in late Oct.. Weather nice, not many people and very reasonable rates.

Nice place..good price in the "Off Season". Conveniently located to Barefoot landing and lots of good restaurants.

First time staying here and will definitely plan to come back. I have nothing bad to say about our stay at Beach Cove Resort.

We were looking for something in NMB on the beach & within walking distance to a relative's house. This hotel fit the bill. As for positives, the staff was nice, the view from the hotel room was amazing, the room was spacious, the hotel has a lot of pools (including a lazy river) and my husband loved the arcade. On the negative side, we were sold on […] the suite because we figured our toddler could sleep in the living room area, while we slept in the bedroom. Consequently, we were disappointed to realize that the bedroom area is pretty open to the living room area. The bedroom is separate, but there are shutters (which don't close all the way) that open into the living room and there's a large gap between the wall and the ceiling at the top of the bedroom. Therefore, we had to be very, very quiet after she went to bed. Another problem that we encountered was that there are only 2 elevators, which meant we occasionally had to wait for an elevator (and the elevators had a funky smell by the end of the day because of all of the wet occupants). Not a big deal, but not ideal. I would also note that they did not clean our room for 2 days. Although the first day was our fault (we were in the room every time they stopped by to clean), they did not stop by on Day 2 until 2 p.m. (when dear daughter went down for a nap) and then did not come back later despite the fact that we put in several requests for them to do so. All in all, we would probably stay here again because it's really an ideal location. Mehr

The place was very nice, the pool area was wonderful for all ages. We enjoyed the Tiki Bar and having the choice of sun or shade while outside. Location was great as well... Will return to this hotel and recommend to anyone.

This hotel has a beautiful view and beautiful location. I have stayed here and had a great time. Unfortunately this time the place was very dirty. The room smelled like smoke and the bed was very dirty. We asked for 2 room changes and they both smelled like smoke. I'm really not sure what is going on with this place because I had a great time last time. This […] time was waaay too dirty and gross. The location is right on the beach and walking distance to the house of blues. I might attempt to stay there again, but the cleanliness may scare me away. Hopefully they get better. Mehr

This is a wonderful hotel. The staff is friendly. The rooms were super nice. I only thing I didn't like was the parking deck. Its not very big and hard to see and move your car around (be careful) I wish I could have changed was the weather. Great stay, nice price.

Myrtle Beach in the summer with its throngs and humidity does not appeal to us so we spent 4 days there in mid-March. The Beach Cove Resort was even better than the info we had suggested. It's located close to Barefoot Landing's shops and restaurants; the building and grounds even in off-season were well-maintained, clean, attractive. Employees at the […] desk and elsewhere in the hotel were cheerful and helpful. The room was comfortable and well laid-out. Each balcony was fully private and had a terrific view of a wide swatch of sea and sand. The parking garage was only 50 yards from the hotel's entrance and the walkway between them was covered. Because of the off-season, the bar was closed and the restaurant only open for b'fast so we can't report on their quality. But we will certianly return to BCR our next trip to MB and urge all those we know to give it a try themselves. Mehr

Beautiful place to stay, won concert tickets and needed a place to stay for one night. Hasselfree check in thru Hotels.com. Will stay here again, definitelty!!

I wanted to get away for the day to the beach with ocean front view. I hecked on line and found THe Beach Cove. From the very beginning it was inviting.The rooms and accomadations were perfect. The price made ait a done deal for me. I had several things i wanted to do while i was down there. THe hotel allowed me to do that. I wanted to wake up ;istening […] to the ocean, walk along th ebeach, sit in the how tub, breakfast on balcony. I turely enoyed my stay and would stay there again. Important information needs to be the forefront; For example; the bridge on 3rd floor deck and the location of the indoor pool and raquetball courts. When asked, it wasn't important. Although it was available in the thick vacation guide. Room layout was a pleasant suprise and it was quiet. Musty odor upon entering the lobby and the room. Excellent […] views. Response to hot water issues and broken pannel was quick. Elevator was slow for being off season. I can't imagine what it would be like during peak season. Mehr

We booked this hotel based on its advertised spa features. When we went down to enjoy the sauna, we found the place dirty with wrappers and other debris. The wall also looked moldy. Moving on to the outside area, we found the lazy river to also contain candy wrappers, leafs and cigarette buts. The manager told us the next morning that the lazy river […] was closed but was still cleaned on a regular basis. However, the area was neither roped off nor did we see signs posted. We ended up not using any of the spa/ pool features. The room itself was clean and had a nice view of the ocean. Noise however transfers easy. Mehr

The resort had all the amenities that we wanted. The views could not be beat! The resort was right on the beach. Close to all the restauarants and sights. Many pools and things to do at the resort. Enjoyed our getaway!

The stay at Beach Cove was very enjoyable and offered everything we were looking for. Upgrades to the room would be desirable but for the price, location, and the ammenities, you can't bet it. We will definitely be back.

This property was well maintained when it came to Lobby, pools and beach. The condos were of an average size, the bed was comfortable. Downside was balcony small, TV's small (19" maybe), room service was fair (maid made the bed with TV remote inside), Garbage can under sink did not fit,so it would not go under or out from sink and nothing could be placed […] in it, sinks in bathroom not over 3 feet high from the ground (strange) Mehr

Room service needs attention. Maids did not even clean room one day and when I called they said all maids have gone. Come to front lobby and pick up clean towels and bag your own trash. When I asked to speak to manager, they respond "will be in tomorrow".

Great hotel away from the crowds at Myrtle Beach but in close driving range to all activities. Large well equipped rooms with wonderful views of the ocean and pools.

Didn't clean room two days in row. Gummy worms in floor when Got into room first day. TV broken. AC wouldn't go below 78. No AC in elevators. Did Let me check in early! But wouldn't give late check out.

Pros: Hotel close to restaurants, Barefoot landing, Alabama Theatre etc. 1 bdroom has lots of space. For the price I would recommend this hotel Cons: At peak times you have to wait for elevator. Nice warm pools, spas, and lazy river. There is a creek nearby which makes a beach walk more interesting. Beach Cove is a nice place for a family vacation. The rooms offer great oceanfront views with a private balcony. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, plenty of play area at the pools, and quick & easy access to the beach. The negatives are the slow elevators and not enough pool chairs because people claim them all day by putting their belongings […] on them and then don't even use the chairs. The rooms are slightly dated, but they are clean, which is more important! Overall, would recommend the Beach Cove Resort to a friend. Mehr

Great family atmosphere. Pools and grounds excellent. Restaurants very convenient. If the common hallways were not on the outside, they would be scarey- kind of dark and dinghy.

I cannot say enough how much I loved the Beach Cove Resort... I refuse to stay in any other hotel or resort when visiting Myrtle Beach, SC! It exceeded expectations... The suite was very clean and beautiful! There was lots of space and the ocean was viewable from our balcony, just as advertised... We slept each night with the balcony door open (we were […] on the 6th floor) and let the breeze from the ocean comfort us as we relaxed... The hotel was very nice. It was a busy weekend for the hotel being biker weekend but everything was very smooth. You did not have to wait long for an elevator which was key for us since it was the first trip with our 3 1/2 month old son. All hotel personnel were very friendly and accommadating. I loved the set up of the rooms since we could close the […] shutters and bedroom door when our little one went to bed early and not disturb him. The view from the room was wonderful and the pools were fantastic! There were 5 or 6 pools which cut down on the crowding of pools and again was important with a little one. The tiki bar was great and even served up some live music which we could enjoy by the pool or even from our balcony in our room. The location couldn't have been better...right across the street from Barefoot Landing and lots of restaurants and shopping!
