Das Hotel Las Palmeras ist für einen Kurzurlaub betens geeignet. Das Frühstück,wie das Abendessen vom Buffet ist reichhaltig für jeden Apetit sehr übersichtlich bereitgestellt.

"Das Hotel liegt direkt im Bahnhof"
Das Hotel liegt direkt im Bahnhof, so dass man von der Eingangshalle nur durch 2 Türen muss, um an die Rezeption zu gelangen. Wenn man viel Gepäck hat, ist dies sehr praktisch. In die Altstadt braucht man zu Fuß ca. 10 Minuten. Die Rezeptionisten waren alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und sprachen englisch. Als wir ein Problem im Zimmer hatten und […] ich dies der Rezeption mitteilte, war innerhalb von 2 Minuten das Housekeeping in unserem Zimmer und hat das Problem behoben. Das Zimmer war groß, die Betten bequem und das Bad mit einer Massagedusche ausgestattet. Es gab auch drei deutsche Fernsehsender (ZDF, ZDF Info und RTL). Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden und würden das Hotel wieder buchen. Das einzig Negative war die extrem langsame Internetverbindung, da brauchte man viel Geduld. Vielleicht ist das aber auch nur bei dem hauseigenen PC so und mit dem eigenen Laptop und WLAN besser. Mehr
"Altstadt und Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß zu erreiche"
Ein ideales Stadthotel, sauber, modern, direkt am Bahnhof gelegen, von dem die Ruhe im Hotel nicht gestört wird. Eine nette Besonderheit - eine Rutschbahn vom 1. Stock ins Erdgeschoss, die wir zwei älteren Semester gerne mit Spaß benutzt haben. Ein durchweg zu empfehlendes Hotel. Eine kleine Einschränkung: im Moment wird die Metro/U-Bahn in der Umgebung […] gebaut, wir hörten morgens zwar keinen Baulärm doch das Piepsen der Lastwagen beim Rückwärtsfahren. Mehr
"Hotel Barcelo Malaga"
Das Hotel ist im neuen Bahnhofkomplex integriert und ist gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Autoparkplatz ist im Kompex vorhanden. Die Parkplatzgebühren unbedingt im Hotel zahlen (ist günstiger) . Gutes Frühstücksbuffet mit einem reichhaltigen Angebot.
"Top Lage für Städtereise"
Aufgrund der direkten Bahnanbindung vom/zum Flughafen und Nähe zum Bus-Terminal kann auch die weitere Umgebung (z.B. Alhambra Granada, Eintritt zwingend per Internet zum Voraus buchen!) besucht werden. Höflicher, professioneller Empfang, Frühstückbüffet ausgezeichnet. City Sightseeing Bus Stop gleich nebenan. Ticketverkauf im Bus.

"Super Hotel"
Das Hotel Barceló Málaga befindet sich gleich neben der Renfe-Station (Zug-Station) in Málaga. Man kann gemütlich vom Flughafen zum Hotel mit der Renfe, vier oder fünf Stationen fahren (€ 1.40 pro Person). Haltestelle: Vialia Maria Zambarano. Nach dem Aussteigen begibt man sich zum Ausgang und muss nur nach links laufen, und so sieht man schon ein […] Schild, mit dem Weghinweis "Hotel Barceló Málaga". Es gibt einen separaten Eingang von der Station zum Hotel. Man kann auch die Einheimischen fragen, wo sich der Eingang des Hotels befindet. Diese Zugstation ist eine Art Einkaufszentrum mit vielen Läden und Restaurants. Zum Hotel selbst: Schön eingerichtetes Zimmer. Badezimmer war auch OK. Hatte genug Platz. Nicht zu klein und nicht zu gross. Was mir nicht so gefiel waren die Fenster. Die konnte man nicht ganz öffnen, nur "kippen". Im Grossen und Ganzen, muss ich sagen, dass das Hotel super war. Die Lage, die Ausstattung, das Personal, einfach alles war gut! Ich würde immer wieder dieses Hotel buchen. Mehr

Ein geschmackvoll, modern gestyltes und auch sehr sauberes Hotel mit guten Betten und gut ausgestattetem Bad. Ideal direkt im Bahnhof gelegen, so dass man in 12 Min. vom Flughafen dort ist. Auch liegt es nicht zu weit von der Altstadt Malagas entfernt (ca. 15 Min zu Fuss, breite helle Strassen). Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder […] dort unterkommen. Zentrale Lage, direkt im Bahnhof, und nur etwa 5 Minuten zu Fuss vom Stadtzentrum entfernt. Sehr schöne Zimmer, gepflegt, ruhig, nur zu empfehlen.

Sauberes Hotel in gutem Zustand und mit freundlichem Personal. Das Zentrum ist sehr gut mit dem Bus ereichbar.

Das Hotel ist direkt im Bahnhof angebaut. Rückseite des Hotels mit Blick auf die Bahngeleise bzw. das Bahnhofsdach. Für Businessleute praktisch. Für Urlauber nicht so schön. Einrichtung super-stylisch - das Personal ist OK, aber nicht wirklich höflich, eher arrogant. Standard-Infos (Wo ist das Restaurant, FitnessCenter etc), müssen dem Personal aus […] der Nase gezogen werden. Badezimmer ist stylisch, aber an der Duschendecke gibts Schimmel. Didn't realize when I booked this hotel that it was connected to the train station. I was able to hop on the local train to visit Fuengirola and to get to the airport for less than 2 euro.

The hotel is in the train station which also has a shopping centre too. The hotel is about 25 mins from the city centre but we found a bus that took us into the city centre within five minutes (no 4 bus in front of the bus station). The hotel was very modern and the slide is the main attraction in the reception area. I loved the slide, my inner child […] made me go down several times a day. The hotel is very modern, clean and convenient to public transportation. It's next to the train station and across the street from the bus station. This hotel was ideally placed at the main railway station. Check-in was efficient, the room was large and well-equipped, breakfast was excellent. The man in the next room who spent all night shouting into his mobile phone was not great. The sound proofing between rooms is very poor and I had about an hour's sleep

the hotel is part of the building that comprises the train station(maria zambrano station) and only a block away from the city bus station so it's the place to go if you are looking for a close access to outbound transportation. free sauna service was pretty enjoyable. all you need to do is to ask to the front 30 mins prior to your usage so that they […] can have the sauna room available just for you. restaurant's quite good too w/ variety of dishes. We had a nice xmas week in Malaga and Barcelo Hotel. Everything was easy to catch: the train to airport, train to Sevilla, bus to Granada, taxi to old town etc. The pesonnel was friendly and we like to especially thank the person in the reception who helped us to find place for dinner on xmas eve. Stayed for 3 nights from 11th december, had such a smooth journey from airport to hotel by train, so easy wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Rooms great, big showers. Bar ultra modern but bit un atmospheric. No one seemed to use it but it's a short walk to malaga centre with loads of restaurants. "very convinient location"
The hotel is right on the train station and a stones throw from the bus station. Walking.to the city centre took about 15 mins. Getting here from the airporr is very simple, just take the direct train from airport to maria zambarno station and the hotel is right there. The breakfast is good, bit i guess plenty of options must be availabe on the station […] area, except that if u want an early breakfast better book ot at the hotel as nothing really opens till 8.30 a. The reception lady was helpful with stuff. Would stay here again! Mehr

"Pleasant surprize at the end of long journey"
I recently stayed at the Hotel Barcelo after a long trek through Spain and other parts. Arrived very early with complicated requests (traveling with others) and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. The hotel was ideal for our one night stopover as we arrived quite late in Malaga. We used the train to connect from the airport to the city centre. The hotel can be accessed directly from the Maria Zambrano station, and meant we were also very close to the bus station to travel on the next morning. We stayed at this hotel for one night in August during our honeymoon. It was an amazing hotel, especially the slide from the second floor to the lobby! We were upgraded to a suite which was very nice, spacious and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly - we arrived early and our room was ready for us anyway. The facilities were good (had […] a decent fitness centre). Our only complaint was that it was a little far from the main attractions, but we were still able to walk everywhere. The hotel was bright airy and clean. The only downside was from an unhelpful gentleman receptionist.
"Close to transportation"
This is a great hotel for connecting with buses and trains. It's very modern. The air conditioned room was great after 100 F degree weather, but actually was a bit cold and we needed extra blankets! Easy to walk to points of interest and shopping.

The front desk employed are, very nice, they help all the time, they go out the way to help. This is a super modern Hotel and right on the train station (RENFE)

This hotel is very convienent. it is accessible from the train station. However, one of the rooms we got had very strong cigarette smell though it is a non smoking room. Informed hotel staff but nothing was done. other than that, it was fine.

The hotel is convenient for travellers wanting a central location in Malaga with easy access to thecruise terminals, train and/or air connections. Lobby reception is quite small and crowded with cruise tour groups but the staff did their best to accommodate all, even opening another room for luggage storage. Not sure they were prepared for the influx. […] We were at first confused with part of the large tour group but when the front desk discovered we were not a part of the group they gave us full . We stayed at the Barcelo due to previous stays at other Barcelo hotels in other locations and the convenience. Room was great though a bit noisy as it faced the main entrance and roadway. Staff was gracious and helpful. Dining and lounge ammenities could use some work but we were there to rest before heading the the airport at 4am. Kudos to the front desk being available at that time of the morning and being pleasant and helpful in securing a taxi. We will continue to stay at the Barcelo hotels. Mehr
