Hampton Inn Jacksonville - 9A & Baymeadows - Jacksonville

I am easy to please. A bed, and a fridge, and a microwave so I have the freedom to hold my own food if I'd like. Not like I'm in prison. The free breakfast buffet was great. I was surprised at the quality of the food.

I was disappointed with the breakfast. Each morning they ran out of food, the garbage cans were overflowing. We have always enjoyed staying at Hampton Inn's -- in fact we were at one in Lawton, OK and the staff were very friendly -- the person in charge of the kitchen made sure there was enough food...constantly checking. In Jacksonville, the orange […] juice ran out and no one was able to refill it -- a sign that it was out was placed on the button. Very disappointing breakfast experience...I thought you would have an idea of how many people would be attending breakfast with the reservations. Need to do a MUCH better job at managing the breakfast. Mehr

We travel a great deal and rely on reviews to make our choices for hotels and eating establishments. the reviews didn't let us down. the room was clean, well stocked, great location. close to where ever you wanted to go in or near Jacksonville. we had a very positive experience and look forward to going back. a great value

My Husband and I were pleasantly surprised to find such a lovely hotel close to our Daughter's new apartment. We were also very pleased with the Breakfast Buffet. Our only issue was with the price of the hotel room. The cost of the rooms will prevent us from visiting more often.

Rooms were very nice and clean. Hotel was very clean! The free breakfast was very nice and good. Coffee was great! We will stay again.

Stayed while on a business trip and they allowed me to check in 4 hours early. This allowed me access to shower, etc to get ready for the event I had to attend that night. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast provided lots of options and was good. Would definitely stay here again.

VERY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE ROOMS WILL STAY AGAIN.

Room was clean. Beds were super comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered numerous choices. Walk to several well-known restaurants. We shall return.

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel 5 years in a row(each January). First 4 years for business meetings but this year for leisure travel. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. They offer a great buffet breakfast and the daytime front desk staff is always so helpful and pleasant. Yoy can be at the beach in 12 mins. and downtown Jacksonville […] in 15-20. I love the neighborhood surrounding the hotel.

Everything was fine. if I could add a suggestion, it will be to put a make-up mirror in the bathroom, otherwise all was excellent.

Spent 6 nights here during Christmas and found it to be a very nice place. Fairly new, very comfortable and the maid service was great. The free breakfast was outstanding. Pretty much anything you would want to eat. The only drawback to the facility was the WiFi. The download speed was very slow at 1.5 Mbts. Almost as slow as dialup.

This was a good place with a great exercise room. The breakfast was good as always with hot food on the buffet. All digital TV sets in every room.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 days and everything was perfect. Never had a problem. Staff was great. Room was nice clean and comfortable. Would stay there again any time.

The Hampton Inn was a pleasant experience. I was prepared to sacrifice a little for the rate that my wife and I got on the room. No worries. The room was clean. The hotel is pretty modern and in a pretty good neighborhood. The breakfast was even better than we were expecting (my wife is pregnant and needs to eat right after getting up... this was both […] convenient and a pretty good offering for a woman eating for three). All and all we were very pleased and will probably be staying here in the future when we are in the area. Mehr

We had a great stay at JAX -Hampton Inn. The people at the desk were very nice and helpful. The beds were very comfortable also. I will definately recommend this hotel.

Loved my stay at this hotel. It was just one night, a night out for me and my wife for her birthday. Got it at a great rate and found it to exemplify the great quality standards of Hampton Inn. I asked for an early check-in (1pm instead of 3pm) and they accommodated that easily. The room was perfectly clean, nicely appointed, and exactly as advertised. […] The king room is nice in that it is situated a little more like a hotel room and was very comfortable. The surrounding area is nice in terms of restaurant selection and access to the highway (9A, soon to be 295 corridor on east Jax). There are great sit down restaurants (Outback, Carrabbas, etc.) as well as a Publix grocery store and fast food. My wife and I had dinner at the Carrabbas and walked from the hotel so that we could enjoy some wine and not have to worry about driving. Took about 3 minutes by foot. No real view from the hotel (storage place on one side, restaurant on another, highway on the back), but honestly, who really cares? I wasn't spending my time looking out the window. Great location! It was a quick drive to UNF and St John Center. I really liked this location and will stay again. All the staff that I talked to were very nice and welcoming.

Great location, convenient access to the beach, elegant clean room and friendly staff. We love it!!

I really enjoyed my stay at this Hotel. It was clean and I really like the Microwave and Refirgerator in the room. The staff was great and the continental breakfast was very good. Great location, very close to the Mall and the University of North Jacksonville.

I was very impressed with this hotel. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The contintental breadfast was great! We would definitely stay here again. Jupiter, Florida

This hotel is new, beautiful and very clean. The staff is friendly and courteous. Breakfast is great with a very attentive staffer actively on duty the whole time. Our room was very comfortable and we loved the choices in pillows! So conveniently located, close to the UNF campus we were visiting.

Ordinarily Hampton is is an easy decision. The beds are comfy and the service is good. We had a weekend booked and on the second day the water was cold. All the water was cold. The hotel had a catastrophic plumbing issue that left the whole building without hot water for a whole day, no water for half of the day. NOt normally an issue if you have somewhere […] to go but we wanted the hotel to be our place to go. We had to find something to do somewhere with plumbing that worked all day Saturday. At least we got to shower before we left Sunday and the hotel comped us for a day. Nice save Hampton Inn. I still like you. Mehr

The Hampton Inn never fails to amaze me. The comfort of the rooms and the unbelievable breakfast is the best. They have the nicest staff around!

Great hotel at excellent rate. Stayed here many times. Always super clean, fast check-in service and great service.

This is a fairly new Hampton Inn located on the corner of 9A. The rooms are clean and comfortable with flat screen tvs. The hot breakfast was plentiful. Several restaurants in parking lot: Carraba's, Outback, Sticky Fingers and Sneakers Sports Bar. Winn Dixie and Publix are adjacent. Great location if you are visiting the University of North Florida […] or shopping at the Town Center. Mehr

Everything was fine except that the hotel was 50 yards from a sports abar called SNEAKERS. It might have been ok except we stayed a Saturday night and our room overlooked the parking lot of Sneakers. We were on the top floor but it was not enough to eliminate the noise of loud cars gunning their motors and drunks shouting to their friends as they left […] the bar. If you dtay there be sure to ask for an odd numbered room since the even numbers face the parking lot. Mehr
