Hotel sehr angenehm. Restaurant mit angenehmen Ambiente. Höfliches Personal. Sehr hilfsbereit. Möglichkeit Auto dort zu parkieren. Auto konnte nicht mehr gestartet werden und ein Mitarbeiter des Hotels war gleich zur Stelle um die Batterie zu überbrücken. Shuttlebus zum Flughafen durch das Hotel garantiert.

I chose this hotel for its proximity to Malpensa airport since I had an early flight the next day. The airport shuttle was very convenient and a 5-10 minute drive. I followed the advice of another review by taking 1 hour bus drive from train station in Milan to airport and then calling hotel to pick me up at airport via their shuttle bus that took me […] to hotel for the night. It was a bit complicated but the best case scenario considering the travel options. Also, as a woman traveling alone, security was important to me and the hotel met those expectations. Mehr

We booked this hotel because of our morning flight out of Malpensa. The hotel's location is quite convenient - 7 km from the airport and very easily accessible from the highway. The free shuttle to/from the airport was a must for us. We only had two quibbles. The first had to do with a "comfort" issue in our room as we could not get the heat to turn […] off and it was very warm and stuffy; we ended up having to pry open a window to make it bearable. This made us a little uncomfortable as the window wasn't supposed to be opened and was leaning against the curtain so it wouldn't fall out of its track. (Eek.) The second had to do with the "free WiFi" claim, which was just false. We don't know whether it was hotels.com or the hotel itself that erroneously advertised the free WiFi. We chose this hotel because of it's close proximity to the airport, and it offers complimentary buffet breakfast and shuttle service. Our flight was at 9AM. We needed to leave the hotel by 7AM but the buffet does not open until 7AM. We were not able to eat breakfast. They did offer a 'early bird' breakfast which was only a croissant and coffee/juice. […] But with 17 hours of flights ahead of us, it was quite dissapointing not to get off with a better start. great location- easy shuttle service to and from malpensa and great restaurant in the woods close by

This hotel was fine for us as we only needed ONE night close to Malpensa airport. FREE shuttle to aitport was key. Hotel retaurant was expensive however and not a great variety. The Pizzaria up the road in the woods was great!

Nice staff with free fast shuttle to the airport.

No wireless in rooms (free or otherwise)-unable to usle new tablet computers without plug in port. Restaurant-worst pasta in Italy!! Not close to anything else except small airport hotels so held hostage for meals!! Airport pickup service good.

I stayed in this hotel because I had an early flight to take the next morning. Great shuttle service... make sure you have the phoe number to call the hotel for your pick up when you arrive. The food at the hotel as nice and average europian price. Very nice and helpful staff.

Service in the dining room was lousy. Husband had a glass of wine in the bar, carried it into dinner, finished it and asked for another. Was told that wine was not served in the dining room so he would have to go to the bar is he wanted the same kind. Also charged outrageous cover charge Disappointed

The Pillows were not that comfortable.

We were very disappointed in the facility and the food. The rooms were substandard. The beds very uncomfortable. A make-up mirror had been removed from its mounting bracket but the bracket remained. The king size uncomfortable bed had only two pillows.

This hotel is no-frills - the rooms are very basic and guests likely only stay for one night before a flight out of Malpensa - but it is extremely convenient for this purpose. They have a free shuttle to and from the aiport. Make sure to figure out whether breakfast is included in your rate before you hit the breakfast room. This is a fine hotel if you have to sleep near the airport. I don't know why it has 4 stars; Nothing about this hotel is exceptional. The people who work here are very friendly, the free airport shuttle is convenient, but the rooms are typical of a mid-level American chain hotel- drab and characterless. You won't find any other hotel as close to the Padova train station as this one. Exit the train stations front doors, look to your right and the hotel is there. The outside of the hotel looks quite dirty but inside is very clean and nice. The immediate neighborhood is very bad news but a 10 to 15 minute walk gets you to nice surroundings. There are […] only a couple very simple places to eat plus a McDonald's for lunch or dinner on the same block as the hotel. Very good hotel close to Malpensa airport. Good value, Very clean

This hotel was an ideal night-before-flying stopover, with friendly and efficient service and especially large rooms for Italy. The only negative point: the restaurant was quite overpriced for the quality and quantity of the food -- the convenience surcharge, I suppose! Still, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it wholeheartedly.

Not bad, but nothing special. Had a dreary feeling to it for us but we were at the end of our Italian/Croatian vacation and flying home the next day. The Wi-Fi was terrible there.

Great hotel for early airport flights. Pick up and drop off great. As in other reviews take the hotel # with you to call from airport or airport train station. Desk was great help at printing our plane reservations! Felt very safe, mother traveling with daughter. Many of the pilots/flight attendants use this hotel.

At $100 a night including taxes, in-room WIFI and airport shuttlebus, the Best Western was great value - efficient, modern and clean. Also, the restaurant was surprisingly good for an airport hotel (but quite expensive). Pity the room had only a shower and not a bathtub. NB: Make sure you have the hotel telephone number handy to call for the shuttlebus […] when you arrive - there didn't seem to be any direct hotel telephone contact lines at Malpensa. Mehr

excellent if one needs just a one night stay close to Malpensa airport...very close and convenient. A surprisingly great restaurant! Not expected in a BW. Very Italian menu, quality and service.

Good bang for the buck. Nice restaurant. Computer access (€3 for 1 hr./€10 for 24 hrs.). Bkfst. options (early bird at bar; 2nd floor dining room). Clean, efficient, reasonably priced. Beds and pillows hard but you can have more, just ask front desk. Restaurant in hotel had great food, is reasonably priced and service and people are very nice and friendly. Its very close to airport and shuttle is very quick and efficient - BUT, make sure to have phone number with you so you can call. Airport information […] people will lead you astray about everything - they must be on commission because try to talk you into paying twice what you should for transportation and even said there was no hotel shuttles even after I told them I knew there was. Hotel is near a residential street but if you walk 10- blocks you will dead end into another street with lots of local shops which provide a lot of local flavor and do have reasonable prices from mom and pop type stores ... quite interesting. The hotel was clean. Perfect for our stay. Because it was a long day and we did not want to go out into the neighborhood, we decided to eat at the hotel's restaurant. Service and food was acceptable. We plan on making this same trip once a year. We will stay here again. Although, next time, we will try to find a local restaurant.

We stayed two nights because we were sick and trying to take a day to recover before the flight home. I chose this hotel because of closeness to airport, free shuttle, wi-fi, and seemingly best rates. We arrived at Malpensa after a one-hour shuttle bus ride from the Milan train station. We looked for a phone to call the hotel, but didn't have a number. […] We asked a cab driver to take us (it was raining), and he called the hotel and asked the shuttle to come get us. Very nice cab driver! Check-in was fine, rooms are as per photos, a little cramped, but fine, the bathroom floor space was unusually large for a European hotel (no tub, small shower, but a lot of standing room). Dinner in the restaurant (white table cloths, uniformed service) was a hefty charge for an average buffet that included choice of chicken or fish, many salads, and several desserts, plus 1 glass of wine and 1/2 liter of water. Main dishes tasted better than they looked, but bread was *very* stale. Less expensive options were available, but they seemed to add up to more than the buffet if you ordered all the courses and drinks. Background music was every song ever done by the Village People. Next day I woke humming Macho Man--oh no! Breakfast was an additional double-digit charge in euros per person with same stale rolls and some of the same music. WiFi was an additional charge, either by the hour, or for 24 hours. We chose 24 hours because of our long stay. It was supposed to work in the bar and lobby areas (not in rooms), but it often wasn't working. I never could get several websites to load, including the airline's. I complained to staff, demonstrated it, and they agreed it shouldn't be that slow, but they were indifferent. Finally they told me to use their PCs in the lobby. No thanks, that wasn't what I was paying for. I asked them to remove the charge, but they wouldn't. Someone knocked on our room door, but there was no peephole to see who it was. Stayed one night before early morning flight. Perfectly adequate, clean, large room, huge bed, and large bathroom. Hairdryer didn't work and would start up by itself randomly. This is the perfect hotel for a night before a returning flight. We were greeted promptly and provided information about the shuttle not only that night when we returned the rental car also for the morning ride to the airport, which was on time. The bar area was nice and bartender was fabulous. We had ordered a cocktail but because he said the herbs […] from their garden were not good that day he recommended style and it was very good. If you have an early flight in Malpensa airport this is a good place to be. We returned a car to Malpensa airport. Then we called the hotel's free number from a payphone an ordered a free shuttle. We used the free shuttle in the morning. Very fast and convinient. The room is big. This hotel is conveniently close to Malpensa Airport. It is a great facility, but the staff is not friendly. Very slow check-in and check-out process. Staff at front desk didn't speak English. We stayed at the hotel the night before our flight from MXP. The rooms are very clean and the hotel appears to be new as well. The hotel also has a shuttle that will take you to the airport (3KM) for free. The food at the hotel restaurant is average, as is the staff. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to those looking to fly out of MXP, or those […] just flying into MXP that need a good nights rest before exploring the rest of Italty. Mehr

A pleasant experience after traveling through Italy for 32 days. We were tired and had the best check-in ever. Very pleasant staff and our room was very nice and spotless. Wonderful restaurant on site and service and food was perfect.

This was one of the nicer hotels I stayed in during my Italian vacation, and suprisingly it was less expencive than the others. The bathtub was huge, could easily fit 2 people. Not so sure why there were so many German Channels on the TV. But overall I liked this hotel.

Excellent hotel. Clean, well maintained, working AC, friendly multilingual staff, spacious rooms with private restrooms. Good airport location with complementary shuttle service, but the airport, and hence the hotel, are quite far from Milan proper. The trip to the center of Milan takes about an hour and involves a hotel shuttle, Italian metro, and […] city bus. Great hotel and excellent value. Hotel very close to the airport and they have a free shuttle. I had to pay 10 Euros for breakfast, but the food choice was not good. I arrived to this hotel around 11 p.m. and my room was very cold. Very satisfied with this hotel. Clean, modern, large bathroom. Great restaurant on site. Only negative was having a long wait for the shuttle to take us from the airport to the hotel. No trouble getting to the airport the next day, having booked a shuttle time - strongly recommend.

It was difficult to contact the hotel when we landed since we were not given the correct phone number originally on booking. It took most of our minutes to use to call the U.S. to get a number, but even that was the wrong number. Local taxis refused to take us to the hotel since free shuttle service was available. It was cold and raining in Milan and […] an awful night to travel and be stuck in an airport with luggage. We were very tired. A local taxi driver helped us get the correct phone number for the hotel on his private phone. When we arrived at the hotel, the room was freezing cold. There was no extra blankets. A bellhop went the room while we ate dinner and tried to put the heat up. When we got back to the room after an expensive dinner of just risotto and French fries, the room was still cold. We were so tired we put all of our coats and clothing on the bed to keep warm. The heat finally came on at 6 in the morning. We then found out that breakfast was not included in the room rate. We had to spend an extra $100.00 for 2 meals which were lousy. Don't waste your time and money at this hotel. Mehr

I did not spend much time in the hotel on a lay-over in Milan. The room was clean but very small. The staff was not very friendly. There is a free shuttle to the airport, and after the staff cut the passenger count wrong the hotel paid for a free taxi. The only reason to stay at the hotel is to be close to Malpensa.
