Das Hotel ist sehr gepflegt. Leider gibt es in der Umgebung sehr wenig. Einziege Alternative zum Abendessen war ein mexikanisches Restaurant auf der anderen Seite der Autobahn. Liegt direkt an der Autobahnausfahrt und deshalb für Durchreisende ideal.
Es können eventuell Gebühren für zusätzliche Personen anfallen, die abhängig von den Bestimmungen des Hotels variieren können.

Very close to USC and although it is an older hotel it was clean and comfortable and I felt safe there. Very friendly staff, great price!

"DISGUSTING"
The room smelled, the carpet was stained, the shower curtain was moldy, and the pillows were covered in a thick plastic-something an inmate might use.

This hotel is very convenient to downtown Columbia; the price was right. A little dusting of the room would have been appreciated but overall it was a pleasant two night stay and I would stay there again.

This "inn" was disgusting. Do not stay there! The pool was green. The walls are paper thin. The woman who checked us in said she was giving us a room with a balcony that overlooks the Mexican restaurant next door; like that was a plus?! The continental breakfast was pathetic. "The hotel is perfect place for williams brice stad"
Although hotel was very convenient to get to from williams brice stadium, beds were rock hard and the rooms, lobby, and breakfast place stunk. I dont recommend staying here.
My son stayed there over the weekend he said that everyone was nice and he enjoyed his stay he was visiting my other son who is a student there in Columbia ,I know when I'm in town next month that's the place where I will stay . Thank you so much for all that u do to make our stay a great place to come back to he really enjoyed it

Overall in comparison to other Motel 6's and Super 8's I was very comfortablle. Ginger, a receptionist, was very, very helpful and comfortable to communicate with. The hotel is1 minute from Columbia just over the bridge, Awesome. I went to a weekend convention and this was so very convenient. Not perfect so don't expect a palace and it is not bad either. "Workmans Motel"
The Riverside is a working man's Motel. Convenient to Columbia yet not pricey like downtown places. Pool and grounds are kept neat and clean. The rooms are fine but not top of the line. Old time wooden upper floors do allow walking noices from above.

The only issues I had was the door was hard to open and close completely...otherwise no worries. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good.

"Riverside Inn, Cayce SC"
This Motel is for those who have very little money or are frugal. It is basic. Not all rooms have refrigerators or microwaves. We stay for the price and convenience.

The key cards for room access don't work. I had a bare spot on the wall where a wall AC unit used to be. It was unattractive but wasn't really harmful. My bed was pretty hard. The toilet seat had scratches and chips. The overall condition of the room was so-so. I thought the staff was nice.

Old motel sorely in need of updating. Largest room we've had in a motel. Fridge & microwave. Coffee pot, but no coffee or accessories. Tub very slippery. The pool water was green and looked as though it hadn't been used in years. Friendly staff and good breakfast offering. Wait until they rennovate the hotel. "Riverside Inn-Cayce"
I was not happy with this hotel. The key didn't work because the door was broken and the expected me to sit in the room while they fixed it. I ask for a non smoking room I was put in a smoking. I was moved to another room the bathroom was not clean. Although I was not going to swim the pool was very dirty. I will not stay at this hotel again.

"The Murder Hotel"
I chose the Riverside Hotel as a last minute option because of the price, and the fact that I would not be spending much time in the room. I am not usually very picky, as I’ve stayed in cheaper/lower quality hotels before. This was by far the worst! Thank goodness I was not spending much time in THIS room. First of all, it smelled terrible. The room […] did appear to be clean, for what it was. Our particular room had a large hole in the wall. This is where I can only imagine an older A/C unit sat. Well, they covered the hole with a screen on the inside of the room and then covered the hole on the outside of the room with a piece of plywood. You can literally hear EVERYTHING that happens outside, and in the room next to you. So, do not talk about any money or anything of importance that you may have in the room if you don’t want EVERYONE outside to hear you. There were some pretty sketchy people hanging out around the hotel. Luckily, the doors were extra heavy, so I wasn’t too terribly scared that a criminal could kick it in. All in all, if you are a girl, do not stay at this hotel alone. It’s scary and from what everyone who I spoke with around the city told me -very dangerous. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are several other lower budget hotels down the street you can choose. If I had to re-do the situation, I would have spent the extra 20 or 30 bucks for a different hotel all together! Mehr

"Clean Budget Hotel"
For the price, the location can't be beat. This is a budget hotel, however the room is clean and functional. If you need lots of amenities, spend more and stay elsewhere. If you need a place to lay your head that is very close to downtown Columbia, this is the place. Cab ride is $5 to the Vista or Five Points.

THE BREAKFAST WAS GOOD BUT COFFEE IN THE ROOM MEANT YOU HAD TO GO ASK FOR IT AND GET SUGAR...AND CARRY IT BACK TO ROOM. WE WENT AND GOT MULTIPLE AIRFRESHNERS. The Riverside Inn is an older hotel but it was clean and we felt safe there. The room was a bit small, but it was fine for a quick stay. We were impressed that there was a fridge and microwave in the room, too, since we didn't request that. The setting, the condition of the room, the lack of amenities, and the creepiness all made for a visit to Columbia somewhat humorous.
