Keine Besanstandungen, wir haben uns auf der Durchreise sehr wohlgefühlt, WiFi super Qualität, lediglich zum Frühstück haen wir etwas Toast vermißt.

"Beautiful room with view of the Harbor"
It had a Bed and Breakfast feel. No complimentary continental breakfast here. You come downstairs to sit in a lovely dinning room overlooking the Harbor. Then you are served a chose of 2 full size gourmet entrees. You can have Dinner here as well. Best food anywhere. We didn't have time to eat the 8:30 breakfast and arrived too late for dinner, but they specialize in Italian food. You can eat on the deck off the dining room and view the marina. The complimentary chocolate mint sticks were rich and smooth! The hostess made us feel welcome and showed us around. The room was clean and the bed a little on the firm level. What a delightful place! They greeted us at the door and welcomed us like old friends. The room was beautifully decorated and the sherry and chocolate was divine! "STAY ELSWHERE if you are asthmatic!"
The hotel smells of cigarette smoke, and it is prevelant in the rooms as well. This is supposed to be a non-smoking establishment and is definitely not. Pillows were so flat as to be nonexhistent, had to go to Fred Meyer in Newport and purchase some cheap ones that I threw away when we got home (because of the cigarette smell). Had to air out suitcases […] and wash all clothes twice to get rid of the smell. Just a hint, cover the drain in the sink to help with the smoke. Caretakers were polite, breakfast was ok, but way over salted. Bathroom is tiny as is the room itself. STAY ELSWHERE if you are asthmatic at all. Great location at Depoe Bay! Not oceanfront but next best overlooking the marina. Real wood-burning fireplace and jetted tub with plenty of hot water to fill it up. Awesome breakfasts - real breakfast, not continental - included and yummy Italian Friday and Saturday evenings. An airfreshener was working full-time, but there was terrible underlining smell of smoke in the downstairs hallway. Our room was clean & neat & appeared to have some fresh updates (carpet); however, when we ran the bathroom fan the room filled with a smell of cigarettes. "Lovely small hotel on the Oregon Coast."
This is a great small get away hotel. There are no children allowed so there are nice little touches like a small carafe of sherry in the room. There are also binoculars to investigate the harbor happenings more closely, a communal fridge on the main floor and a library of books & DVD's. We had "Captain's Quarters" and the room was very comfortable. The Inn was delightful. Lovely furnishings, courteous staff; the mattress and pillows were wonderful. Morning breakfast and coffee was very tasty. "Homey atmosphere"
Great place to stay! I loved the breakfasts and would go back just for those! The room was comfy & included everything needed: hair dryer, iron, basic toiletries. It even came with binoculars and an umbrella! We played Monopoly in the lounge & borrowed a couple of DVDs.The owners give it a personal touch and really seem to care about your stay there. I expected a hotel, not a bed and breakfast. I expected a restaurant and lounge. Only breakfast was served. Way over priced for a place to sleep. I was placed on the bottom floor where they started painting the room next door early the next morniing. Plus the veiw was not of the harbor, but the marina. "Will stay here every time"
This is a wonderful B&B. Every room overlooks the Depoe Bay Marina and has a balcony that you can sit out on and enjoy. They have a complementary decanter of Sherry with chocolate mint sticks. The bed is comfortable and the room clean. And the breakfast was great; coffee, tea, orange juice, muffins, toast, etc., and on that day a choice between a Denver […] Omelet or French toast with sausage. We were so thrilled with our stay at Harbor lights! It's a small inn, 13 rooms I think I heard. It feels more like a large bed & breakfast than a hotel or motel. The rooms are a little small, but nicely appointed, clean and very comfortable beds! We greatly appreciated the little details (brief welcome tour, cream sherry & dark chocolate as a welcome […] gift, nice, hot breakfast, warm, welcoming owners). We'd stay there again in a heart beat. Depoe Bay is a small community, no direct beach access to walk to, but there is a delightful small beach about a mile or two north at Fogarty Creek. I was a little leary about the cleanliness because the hotel allows pets but our room was spic and span. It is on the little harbor rather than right on the beach and very peaceful. If you like to walk you can walk to the main street of Depoe Bay about 6 blocks. Where there are restaurants,seafood, bars, shops, art work, and a fantastic view of the […] rocky shore. You can even see whales when they are passing through. You can buy wine at the hotel and they provide chocolates and sherry free of charge. There is a refrigerator if you need one.
