carpet felt a little dirty. some african american guy was at the back door @2am asking if I was a college student which was odd. I just shrugged him off. staff exceptionally nice. room outdated but had fridge, coffee, microwave and TV. plenty of space. shower was fine. no complaints for the price but if I would've had my wife along, she would have […] given me crap. she needs more modern look / feel. If you need a place to lay your head at night it's ok. No hairdryer, toilet was stopped up, refrigerator was full of frost, halls were smokey/stinky. I only need the room for an overnight stay and fortunately figured that a cheap hotel wouldn't provide anything so I brought my own. It's totally a "get what you pay for" hotel.

Clean and comfortable. We stayed in a spacious King Suite. Would defiitely stay again on our next visit to North Carolina.

A very very pleasant suprise for the money. I would gladly stay there again without hesitation.However the towels were a bit dingy but other than that i have no complants. I was kinda skeptical about staying there when I read some of the reviews but I stay anyway, I was not disappointed. The room was clean, the location was convenient. The room have a coffee maker, a refridgerator and a microwave and it was very clean. The people that own it was very nice and friendly, we would stop and talk to them all the time. I chose this hotel because it was the cheapest in the area. I usually shy away from hotels that are at the bottom of the price range and/or have poor reviews (which this one did.) Fortunately, I went against that habit this time. The room was not at all dirty nor was the hotel overall. Of course, the place doesnt look like a Hyatt or newly constructed […] Marriott but thats not what its supposed to be. This is a modest priced hotel for budget minded travelers. While it is cheap it is by no means dirty or unkempt. I'm picky about where I stay and this place passes my standards. The bed was firmer than I like, but I slept well enough on it. The AC/heat worked very well and nothing in the room was broken. The employees at the hotel are very friendly and pleasant to work with. The shower had excellent pressure, which is something I really enjoy. It was also very quiet in the hotel at night, and in the day too for that matter. I gave a 4 for the comfort of the room because it did not have any coffee supplies for the coffee maker. Although, for the price of the room itself, I can easily overlook this small thing. I will be traveling to Albemarle fairly often with my partner to visit his family. I will always stay at America's Best Value Inn with no doubt. Mehr

The owner was very nice and accommodating and refunded our money when we decided not to stay the second night, but the good service, low price and convenient location are just not enough for me to recommend this hotel. The rooms are shoddy and not at all clean.

the owner was very nice and tried to be as helpful as possible, The place could be quiet a nice place if it was updated. toliets were for 5year old kids not adults,refregiator need to be defrosted, could have been cleaner, linen looked as it had been used, did not feel unsafe staying there but I guess my question was answered how they could be so much […] cheaper ahan other holels and motels in the area did not mind not having a pool or contiental breakfast . I really just wanted some where to stay for the three days, I also didnt see the cofffee maker that was said to be in each room. Mehr
