Das Hotel liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Plaza de Mayo Microcentro und zu San Telmo. Hotelservice mit excellentem Englisch, gute Tipps für Tangoshow erhalten, sehr schönes großes Design-Zimmer mit kleinem Design-Duschbad. Sehr gutes Frühstück.

Das Hotel Moreno ist sehr zentral gelegen. Die Zimmer sind gross und hell und modern eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist spärlich, reicht aber um sich am Morgen zu stärken. Dachterasse ist sehr schön, leider fehlen aber Sonnenschirme. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit.

The hotel is very nice located at a quiet street, service is friendly, the room had a lot of space. This Hotel is like that saying: "Less is More"

We choose this hotel for its location and price and the fact that it kept some of the historic features. The service was good, and everyone was very helpful in trying to speak English and helping us to book trips and other outings and events.

This was a very comfortable stay with a very helpful staff. The immediate neighborhood was not the best but good enough.

From the outside it doesn't look like much, but once you go up one floor to the lobby, you can tell right away that you'll love this place. The staff was all very helpful, from booking dinner reservations to confirming our ride to the airport...everything was impeccable. The rooms are loft-like. Very open with large windows and a very comforable bed. […] The bathroom is very modern and we loved the shower. All in all, we would definitely recommend this place to anyone. This was my first visit to Buenos Aires and after doing some on-line reseach I chose the Moreno Hotel. The prime reason for this selection was location - two blocks away from Plaza de Mayo in historic and little bohemian San Telmo. This is not a hotel for those who have the need to be pampered by amenieties, plush environment and the like. This is a […] hotel for those who need/want a clean hotel room for the night and who spend most of the day out sight-seeing. I selected the extra large room (there were two of us staying for a week) and it was a good choice. The bathroom was rather small and modest, but fully functional. The bed was convenient and the room cleaning service was good. My only concern was very sparse storage space for clothes, so part of it stayed in the suitcase. Free WiFi in the building and also a compuer in the hotel lobby (located on the first floor - not street level). Breakfast was very simple (juice, tea/coffee, croissant, bread, ham cheese, jam), so if you are used to breakfast buffets at US hotels, you will be disappointed. I am not a big breakfast person so it was fully sufficient for me. The hotel staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. They helped with restaurant bookings, event booking and transportation. The hotel itself is in an old art-deco building and hardly noticable from the street, but the foyer, lobby and the old-fashioned elevator are really great. The hotel has on on-site (next door) very contemporary decorated, small bar/restaurant. Would not recommend that, other than for drinks. Overall, I am satisfied with my choice. I knew it would not be a Marriott or Hilton so my expectations were accordingly and the hotel fully met expectations. The occasional garbage on the near-by street corner may be little off-putting, but San Telmo is not Recoleta or Palermo. Understanding that, you just deal with it. Mehr

Only downside was the location, which was not too bad but not fantastic. The staff were amazing. The breakfast is really good - they have the absolutely best croissants out of all the hotels we stayed in Buenos Aires (3) and Argentina.

Great hotel, good location, especially to the Sunday markets which started on the corner. Room was huge, with a seating area as well as a desk. Bed was extremely comfortable. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Had a great time here. The guest relations were excellent, recommended tours, restaurants and shopping. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed at the Moreno during a stay in BA for leisure. Hotel located in good location for sightseeing etc. Upscale resturants are somewhat far away but the price of a taxi here isnt a concern for now. Hotel has decent breakfast on top floor in morning however service is staff dependent. One morning all tables and plates dirty as normal staff ( a friendly […] young gal) was absent and the men were just no that excited to be performing this function. Front desk was helpful in requests. The Room was large ( I got a loft) and the bed comfortbale. Houskeeping keeps room clean with motovation. Floor (wood laminate) could use a good washing. Mehr

Moreno is really close to the city centre. Staff and service was excellent. Some renovations are currently under way - so there was no restaurant - and no room service. Unfortunately there was no tea or coffee facilities either. Venturing out for dinner on foot can be an adventure after dark as we encountered some shady characters on the street too. […] All this aside - the hotel itself is excellent, huge rooms and a classy rooftop terrace. The most helpful front desk staff that I have ever come across. Once you get over the street entrance, you'll find some of the most comfortable and spacious rooms that you'll ever experience - very modern loft-like designs.

Stayed at Hotel Moreno only one night just to check it out...I wished we had stayed there for a few more days. It is super close to Plaza de Mayo and walking distance to Puerto Madero and other neighborhoods. Staff is incredibly friendly and professional. Will definitely stay here again!!

Traveled to Buenos Aires with my 17 year old daughter to visit my other daughter who is studying abroad there. We all LOVED everything about this hotel. The staff is EXCELLENT and will respond to your every need and give great recommendations on dining, shopping, banking, etc. The room was PERFECT....Chic, modern, beautifully decorated, exceptionally […] large with living space cleverly separated from sleeping space, high ceilings, great views over the city. LOCATION was convenient to San Telmo and the Plaza de Mayo with its Supte stops. PRICE was fantastic for the value we received. Booked on hotels.com and got a great deal...even included breakfast every morning. Augusto, Pablo, Jeremias, Henry and all the staff are the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! We miss them! ps. some people have commented about the sidewalk in front of the hotel being all torn up. The sidewalks ALL OVER BA are torn up, so that is no big deal! This hotel is located within walking distance to the central area of the city and the main shopping street, Florida Street. The Staff is very friendly and will help with any questions that you may have. The complementary breakfast is much better than our usual continental breakfast and is served until 1030. Lovely hotel. Nicely appointed, large rooms. Great vintage elevator. Very helpful friendly staff. Surrounding area was a bit gritty. The sidewalks in virtually all of the city are a mess.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The clerk at reception could speak English and help us with the guides for the city tours. The hotel is close to the city highliths, the presidental palace, etc..

From the broken pavement outside the hotel we were uncertain about our hotel choice. Once inside and warmly greeted, we became more pleased by the day, and extended our stay from 4 days to 8! Their location was quite convenient to walk and sightsee, and the unending San Telmo Sunday street flea market. This hotel is top notch for decor, spaciousness, and especially service. We had gotten such a great rate on Hotels.com that I was concerned it might be too good to be true. My mild concerns were washed away at check-in and especially when we walked into our fabulous room (which was more like a loft / suite). Also, the complimentary (included in your […] daily rate) breakfast is pleasant. It’s simple fare, typical spread of ham, cheese, fruit, breads and coffee. The only thing not recommended is the hotel restaurant for dinner. The restaurant was billed as a culinary experience; it was an experience (a very expensive one) but not a good one. This is like a boutique hotel that you would enjoy in NYC. The service is understated. In other words, its not in your face. The quality service is there when you need it and ask for it. And all the desk staff speak English (for those still struggling with Spanish). You will NOT be disappointed!!! Enjoy Buenos Aires and this wonderful hotel amigos... Mehr

The Hotel was charming. Very European and we LOVED atmosphere. The open metal elevator was so early 1900's. The rooms were sleek and modern. The Neighborhood charming. Bell Hop service was truly above and beyond the call of duty. The daily breakfast fresh and varied.

The hotel was fine and convenient to the city sites. The advertised show venue was not yet open. The block was a bit sketchy with some less desirable hangers-on on and the street-scape was in bad repair. I would not recommend to anyone that is not aware of their surroundings, but enjoyed our stay very much.

The hotel was good but the immediate neighborhood was sketchy with panhandlers and hookers in evidence. Room was great and staff very helpful. Breakfast buffet was ho-hum and the rooftop spa looked a bit questionable. Decent restaurants for the evening were far walk but doable. When we checked in we "traded up" to a larger suite. I am not sure what the classification was but the room was very modern from the wooden planks in the shower; to the artwork a real stunning place. The stain glass in the stairwell and the iron elevator was also a great site and the view from the rooftop was spectacular. The breakfast was par- nothing […] to write home about but fresh fruit, coffee and toast as well as eggs cooked any style that they make in the kitchen. The downside- the downstairs "130 seat lounge theater" advertised on their website is just the resturaunt and either it was off-season or is never open past brunch/ and does not have any shows?. Hotel Moreno es muy bueno, me alojé en un Loft, con excelentes condiciones. El desayuno si es muy básico, consiste en café/té y medialunas, cosas adicionales las tienes que pagar. El resto del hotel por las noches es muy chic, y ámeno. Música francesa y una colección de vinos Arg de excelente calidad. El barrio es San Telmo, atrae y cada paso se hace […] más interesante, por lo que no te cuentas una vez que llegas a las calles principales. Puedes ir caminando a Puerto Madero. Simplesmente fantástico! A decoração com um visual antigo dá um charme indescritível ao hotel. Quarto maravilhoso, café da manhã maravilhoso, recepção e atendentes maravilhosos, ótima localização e um dos melhores restaurantes para se degustar um vinho bem no térreo... Hotel accogliente , centralissimo, personale disponibile. Sarebbe opportuno sistemare la doccia poichè durente l'uso l'acqua invade il pavimento: sono necessarie più stampelle per appendere gli abiti ed infine occorrerebbe una sedia in più. Comunque giudizio positivo.

O Moreno é um hotel surpreendente, vc chega e se assusta com a entrada e os elevadores com portas pantográficas. Aí vc sobe para o 1º andar e continua na dúvida, a recepção tem uma decoração art deco e o ambiente é escuro e duvidoso. Qdo vc chega no quarto é que entende o que é conforto. A limpeza é impecável. Aunque parece viejo, está bien remodelado y acondicionado, amplias habitaciones y limpias, ubicación inmejorable para feria de San Telmo y a dos cuadras de la Plaza de Mayo, Puerto Madero puedes llegar caminando, ALDO la Vinoteca abajo del hotel es una joya del centro de BsAs

O hotel é muito bom, e parece ter história pois parece até hotel de filmes antigos um tanto sombrio. No geral é um bom Hotel com um quarto imenso, uma cama extremamente confortável, TV de LCD e Uma Mini sala. Recomento com certeza pois a vizinhança é ótima a 3 min a pé da casa rosada e da plaza de mayo, uns 10 min de Puerto Madero, pelo valor pago foi […] a melhor escolha de Buenos Aires Mehr

Ótimas acomodações, mas a localização para quem está a turismo não é das melhores. o café da manhã é fraco.

Gostamos do hotel Moreno. A localização é muito boa. Os quartos são ótimos. Não se escuta nenhum barulho da rua. Os atendentes são muito gentis. E o mais importante: o preço é acessivel. Recomendamos.

O hotel possui uma decoração contemporânea de muito bom gosto. O quarto é amplo, bem decorado e extremamente limpo. O atendimento é excelente. Apenas o café da manhã deixa um pouco a desejar pela falta de diversidade do que é oferecido. Não obstante, amei o hotel e pretendo retornar.

Ikke som et vanlig hotell. Resepsjonen er i 2. etasje og frokosten (continental, inkludert) spises på restauranten ved siden av. Rommet er imidlertid meget stort og har liten kjøkkenseksjon. Meget god service.
