Das Doubletree By Hilton Hotel (Bristol South Cadbury) ist einfach traumhaft und sehr zu empfehlen. Wer eine ruhige Lage bevorzugt und trotzdem nahe von Bristol sein möchte ist hier richtig aufgehoben. Das Hotel bietet einfach alles. Ein super Spabereich, schöne moderne Zimmer, phantastisches Frühstück und sehr freundliches/hilfsbereites Personal.

Just to say I love this hotel. I go a couple of times a year and make use of the spa. Spa is lovely and the staff are very friendly. Facilities are great.

Good value for money. Nice surroundings. Staff could be a bit more welcoming.

We stayed at the hotel on a Saturday night so it was full. We found the public spaces in the hotel did not allow for the number of people i.e. it was too crowded. The bedroom was clean and comfortable. The restaurant was not up to the Pierre White name, provided pathetic portions (particularly for fish( and consequently was over-priced. Lovely hotel, but no mobile phone coverage at all and the restaurant was too high brow, and not at all relaxing. Mthe food was good, but very expensive and children sized portions. Also very remote and for someone working in Bristol, it was too far out of town. Nice rooms and overall a very nice hotel. Excellent. Lovely staff, good room even if the window was a little small. We were very well looked after.

Stayed here for 1 night. Not the most convenient location- several miles from both motorway and airport and about 15miles from Bristol city centre but ideal for our purpose. Friendly and efficient reception and pleasant room. Excellent gym on site although pool was too full of kids to use. Ate on site at Marco Pierre's Steakhouse-pricey if you do not […] have set meal but good quality. Excellent breakfast. Mehr

Great hotel staff pleasure, wonderful surrounding countryside close to local attractions. Enjoyed the use of the health club. Would diffinitely come back and recommend to friends and family.

This hotel was lovely, spacious and comfortable. The food in the bar was very good and fairly priced. We would stay again.

We chose to stay at the Doubletree because it was close to Bristol airport. We were very pleased with the standard of our room.The staff were very helpful and friendly. I agree with another review about the glass panel in the bathroom wall. It is a little strange but the door does close both pollyways so you have privacy in the loo ! A great hotel in many ways. Clean, tidy, luxury room. Great shower, free cookie on arrival etc. Health club was good - towel and lock provided which was great as you didn't need to bring money for lockers, also plenty of hairdriers. The evening we went it was very busy, but there were sufficient lockers, showers and toilets. Shame there was only 1 […] female changing room in the entire ladies room. Room service at hotel was great. We ate in the MPW restaurant one night. Although obviously pricey, the food was excellent. The restaurant clearly operates separately to the hotel and so after some confusion we (and another couple on a nearby table) were asked to pay at the table instead of put the meal onto our room bill. Unfortunately the staff's voices were rather loud on both occassions and I felt a bit embarrassed as if I had done something wrong. Would not hesitate to stay again if I was in the area. Mehr

A fantastic hotel with great facilities.The restaurant was wonderful, food was amazing with friendly service. i cannot recommend this hotel enough for a short break.

this hotel is fab, the only mistake we made was didnt take notice of the warnings that breakfast is very busy, it is, so go early to breakfast, you will be glad you did because the service and food was brill

Cadbury Hotel is in a good location near junction 21 of the motorway. The leisure centre attached to the hotel makes it a good break with older teenagers, as we can combine good service and facilities. Recommended!

Very nice hotel, convenient for Bristol Airport. Very nice evening meal at the bistro restaurant which was reasonably priced and also an excellent breakfast.

Stayed in this hotel once before and it's a lovely hotel. Slightly disappointed on my most recent stay but all small issues which were resolved quickly - no kettle in bedroom, problem with ethernet cable, slow room service. However the rooms are very comfortable, food is great and staff are very friendly so would definitely stay here again and recommend […] to others. Quite handy for Bristol Airport. Mehr

Brief overnight stay nice welcome

Great staff and service although we were part of a big party for dinner in the restaurant one night and the waiting staff clearly struggled with the numbers. Everything else superb apart from the appalling broadband which they charge you £10 for 24 hours use of (just wrong for a premium hotel to charge for a basic requirement in my opinion) and then […] to make matters worse it is abominably slow...worse than dial up. Gym is great, bar (and bar food fantastic), breakfast excellent with a huge choice and decent coffee! Mehr

Good views of the surrounding countryside as the hotel is built on a hill. The fresh cookies at check-in are a welcoming touch. The Club (gym and pool) is much larger than usual hotel health club due to it being a members' club. Booked this hotel for a special occasion - hotel itself very nice - modern and comfortable but whole experience spoilt by dreadful meal at Marco Pierre White Restaurant. The food was overpriced and very poor quality - £9.50 for a prawn cocktail starter that looked like a 5 year old had made. The food was also very salty and virtually thrown at us. […] Don't waste your money this place is just trading on Marco Pierre Whites name. Breakfast was average - had to ask numerous times for tea/coffee and toast as constantly ignored by waiting staff. Spa and pool very nice but steam room far too hot and not a pleasant experience. the hotel offers a near personal service yet it as quite a large number of guests. The lesiure facilities ae nice used the pool, and sauna and the bar area upstairs. Breakfast was really good choice and service

Perfect two day stay met all our expectations. Especially impressed with every single member of staff we came into contact with - their attitude to their customers is a credit worth special mention.

As you drive into the carpark, the hotel looks fabulous and very welcoming. We arranged our booking through Hotels.com and were allocated a room at the back of the hotel. Good points about stay : Attic style room which was very tastefully decorated, warm, clean and quiet. Bed comfortable Plenty of hot water Carl on Reception definately deserves a mention, […] his customer service skills were excellent and his local knowledge of Indian restaurants meant we had a fab curry at Yatton Tandoori Bad points : Breakfast was very average Too much food cooked at one time meant sausage, bacon and eggs were very dry Bath towel had a big rip in Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. The biggest let down at this hotel is the standard of cleanliness, not just in the rooms though! When we checked in to a deluxe room! there were toenails on the corridor outside room 4006 and they were still there the following afternoon. Our room had a great view, we could even see the sea, however, the cleanliness and the maintenance of the room was […] really quite poor. It took four rooms to get us a room that wasn't too bad, still had to request the room to be vacuumed as it hadn't been vacuumed properly before we got the room. This room had been double checked before we were given the key! Thier green policy doesn't work, towels on the rail were changed daily, and one day we came back and the A/C had been set and left on 29 degrees! Very inconsistent service. The staff in the lounge, reception and at breakfast were great, however, other areas the staff let the hotel down. Mehr

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderfukl stay at this hotel . the staff were all helpful ensuring that we were able to relax. First class health club. Highly reccommended

Hotel was large and well maintained. Rooms at front look out over lovely countryside but those at back look into a hillside. The leisure facilities are in a big leisure club a couple of minutes walk from hotel. Well equiped if you want a big get fit club but not a relaxing hotel style facility! Overall very good hotel for weekend stay or business stop […] en-route to somewhere. Oh and it seemed to have a wide range of business facilities, like meeting rooms and catering spaces so looks good for training or small conferences. Mehr

Friendly hotel with comfortable clean and relaxing rooms. Very much liked staying. The only glitch is the signage around the grounds is difficult to see at night, especialy when it's wet. Clearer signs would be helpful.

Very nice building and the staff was very polite. I wanted to have a relaxing spa weekend, but I didn't like much the spa. It was actually situated outside the hotel, in separate building. Very small space around the pool, and nowhere to lay down to relax. I was a bit disappointed with the spa, but apart from that we had a pleasant stay. hotel rooms spacious and comfortable with al conveniences, particularly liked the pool. Food and service good. Breakfast 'to go' was great.

The hotel was by and large of high quality,however on returning to the hotel one evening due to roadworks close to hotel and diversions we did not get back until after 22:00.Tired and wanting something to eat we were advised that there was only room service available and we could not access the menu from the bar or reception.I thought the hotel [knowing […] about the delays etc] could have been more helpful. Had a fantastic stay at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel...everything was perfect, will definately be visiting again!

I found it really easy to work from my room which was good and great gym - restaurant a bit to pricey to put through on expenses so ate at gym instead which was okay.

we had a wonderful 4 day break.The hotel was splendid and the staff could not have done any more than they did to make our stay any beter. Thank you.

On the positive side our room in the attic was lovely, if a little dark, as there was only one small window and the roof wndows were covered over. The room was extremely comfortable and very clean and the bathroom was delightful. The meet and greet for breakfast is excellent and the range of foods can hardly be bettered. On the negative side, our check […] in was poor. Your confirmation stated that check in was from 2pm, but when we arrived at 2.45 we were told that check in started at 3pm. However, the girl on reception said we had been allocated room 134 and if we sat down for a few minutes she would tell us when the room was ready. So we sat down and waited, and waited, and waited and watched lots of people check in and go up to their rooms. Eventually, I went up to reception again and spoke to a man who rang a number and said that the room was not ready and he would tell us when it was. So we waited some more, and some more until I went back to reception and spoke to another young lady who also rang a number and told us that the room was still not ready but she would tell us when it was. I pointed out that we had already been told that twice to no avail, and then the girl whom we first saw, heard me and said that she would now give us room 503 to save us waiting any longer. It was nearly 3.30 by then so we had been waiting a long time. Not what we expected in such a lovely hotel. Mehr

Not quite what I expected from a Doubletree having stayed at the wonderful Chester Doubletree several times. Reception was small (bordering on pokey) and not particularly welcoming, although the staff were lovely. We'd booked a twin room and found ourselves getting lost as we were in the new wing of the hotel (complicated lift system-2 different lifts […] to get to the second floor!) We'd been given a double so then had to move. The room itself was lovely but the carpet clearly hadn't been hoovered very well. Disappointed that the internet wasn't free as it is in Chester. The spa was in a separate building down the hill so no walking around in your dressing gown here! The steam room wasn't working which was hugely disappointing and we were told by a regular visitor to the spa that it hadn't been working for 5 weeks. The spa itself is very nice but nowhere near as nice and relaxing as the Doubletree in Chester. It is a lovely looking building and in a lovely little village but a bit of a drive into Bristol itself. Would I recommend it? Not quite sure. I ticked yes on the tick boxes above, but had to really think about it...What tipped the balance was the outstanding breakfast!!! Mehr

Excellent hotel with outstanding staff. When we returned from our holidays to collect our car from airport we informed them at reception that my handbag had been stolen that mornning in Croatia and everything gone passports, money, credit cards etc. etc. Told them we were waiting for our family to come from Swansea with a spare key as everything was […] in the stolen bag. The staff were brilliant, they told us to make ourselves comfortable and brought us refreshments and would take no renumeration for this when my family arrived. A lovely setting - we enjoyed strolling down to the lake and also a swim in the hotel pool. The dinner was delicious and dietary needs are well catered for. It took a while to get the cot for our baby sorted but everyone seemed to do their best to help.

This was my third visit to Cadbury House, the first two being on business. I like this place. The ambience is good, the staff friendly and polite and the service from front desk is excellent. This recent visit was with my wife for a leisure stay and things were generally ok but a Friday wedding event seemed to overwhelm the bar and its staff, so regular […] guests were a bit sidelined whilst the excessive drinking of the wedding party took priority. Don't let this put you off. It's a great location with fantastic views from the front facing rooms. Mehr

All to often an occasion one looks forward to never lives up to the promise. On this special day all went to plan, and on no small part played by the hotel. They made every effort to make it work. Well done to your staff. .

Great hotel, beautiful settings, very convenient to motorway, however we had a snack in the restaurant one of the nights, i had pasta and was the worst pasta dish i have ever tasted, the waiter offered me another dish (on the house) so thought i would play safe with a panni - Should have known better! Could have made better myself! Bit disappointed […] with this but on the up-side, breakfast was fantastic Mehr
