Wir waren auf einer Rundreise durch Kanada in diesem Hotel für 3 Tage. Wir waren sehr zufrieden, für einen kleinen Aufpreis konnten wir das Zimmer upgraden. Dadurch hatten wir 2 Zimmer inkl. einer fast kompletten Küche. Ausstattung und Zustand sehr gut. Hier ist ein kontinentales Frühstück inklusive, das ist sehr gut und vollkommen ausreichend.

Wir waren mit diesem Hotel sehr zufrieden. Sehr gute Lage, tolle, saubere Zimmer bei sehr gutem Komfort. Die Hot Springs innerhalb des Hotels mit Sauna sind wahnsinnig erholsam.

Neues, schönes,und sauberes Hotel ca. 1.5 km ausserhalb des Stadtzentrums. Zimmer und Lobby sind sehr neu und schön eingerichtet. Die Zimmer sind allerdings sehr klein. Man kann den Koffer nirgends richtig abstellen. Schöner, sauberer SPA-Bereich.

Overall a nice place to stay. The room was a bit smelly but convienient. Would come again.

Nice hotel. Other than Banff Springs & The Rim Rock, this is one of the nicer hotels in Banff, although not really comparable to the aforementioned. Rooms are clean, good layout, decent hot tub, etc. Walking distance to shopping/restaurants/liquor stores.

Fox Hotel is ideally located close enough to walk to the Banff town centre but far enough removed from the busy stream of tourists. Unfortunately we could only book one night but it was a perfect stay- well almost. The hot spring cave on the parking level, offers great therapy after a long hike or day of skiing and the restaurant Chilis, located on […] site, caps the day off with the best Margaritas and rack of ribs! The room was perfect for the two of us; rustic, clean, all the amenities of the bathroom and a wonderful bed with a soft top. I would, however, ditch the high, firm abundance of pillows for your own. I eventually had to remove all of them to get a good nights sleep! Great hospitality and polite, helpful staff and if you don't have a bathing suit with you, the Hudsons Bay Banff offers great discounts on lots of swimwear on the lower level. Experiencing the cave is worth the purchase! Will book with Fox for our next visit to Banff. Mehr

We stayed at the Fox, myslef girlfriend and her two daughters. We booked the two bedroom with King and two Queens. This room was perfect for us, clean and very well kept. I have worked in the past in Hotels in managment positions and would recommend this hotel strongly. We had a great time and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Thankyou.

Would recommend hotel to others however as its clean and very convenient however, bring you own pillow! Beds are comfortable but the pillows are hard as a rock.

We really enjoyed our stay. Was a really clean hotel and all around nice. We did not have a fridge in our room though which we would have liked. Definitely will be back!

Our room was a 2-story suite, with the living room/kitchen on the main floor; downstairs was the bedroom/bath. The room was clean and quiet (faced a side street instead of the center open area). The only thing I really didn't care for in the room was the winding staircase - hard to lug your luggage down and back up. (We're girls and we carry alot of […] luggage!). But otherwise, this was a great stay. Pass on the free continental breakfast at Chili's (Chili's is located in the same complex). It was a carb overload. Mehr

I really like the way this place is set up, park on the side or back of the hotel and walk up outside stairs to your room. Walk out of your room and yours outside. Its a little different and I liked it.

I stayed there the past weekend from Feb 10th-12th. When we checked in the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. If you arrive later it is harder to find parking. We arrived at about 9:30pm and headed down to Chilis restaurant in the main lobby. There was no one to seat us and when we sat down at an available booth we had 3 different servers […] ask why we had sat there, (well because no one seated us). As the night progressed the server warmed up. I felt kind of rushed like they wanted to get us out of there. The next day we had the continental breakfast. My first bite of mixed fruit I spit in a napkin (first time ive ever done that) because it tasted rotten. Needless to say I didn't eat anything else. We came back to and headed to the heated pool which was nice and relaxing. A little smaller than I had expected. Everything about our stay was great until someone decided to pull the fire alarm and we were rudely awakened at 3 am in the morning by a blaring alarm. When we went outside everyone seemed to be pretty puzzled as to what was going on and the fire dept advised that it was a false alarm. It took me an hr to fall back asleep and needles to say we were not up for 8am to head out to lake louise. Now I understand that it's in no way the hotels fault this happened which is why I didn't bring it up but I was kind of dissapointed we were not offered any discount for the inconvenience it caused us. The front worker seemed a nervous that we would bring it up (which I completely understand). When I spoke to my boyfriend about our stay he didn't seem too thrilled and said he probably would look for somewhere else to stay next time. Now I'm not trying to say don't stay here, it's a beautiful facility and hotel. Unfortunately our stay was just not so successful. Mehr

I love the Fox. I have stayed there numerous times. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I little bit more expensive than others, but the free breakfast is great, and its right down the street from all the shops and restaurants in Banff. Only a half hour drive to Sunshine, or they have shuttles. I would recommend it to anyone.

Excellent staff. Great room and standard - had a two bedroom suite - perfect for a family. Easy walk to downtown restaurants and bars.

Excellent hotel! Great service! Loved the grotto pool!

the only thing we didnt like about this hotel was the fact that all the bedrooms were outside, and as it was -25 while we were there it was rather cold...especially after youve been in the hot-tub. You have to come out of your room, across the courtyard area outside then back into the hotel again! Oh and people were drinking alcohol in the hot-tub and […] there were beer cans on the ground, so not great for kids. Also there were no towels in the ladies changing room so I had to put my clothes back on to go back outside and back to my room. We have stayed at the sister hotel the Caribou Lodge but wanted to try The Fox as breakfast was included but I think I prefer the Caribou...however the breakfast was really great. There was fresh orange & apple juice, tea, coffee, fresh chopped fruit, loads of cereals, croissants, toast & pastries. You could also make your own waffles so our daughter loved it!! Mehr

We come often to Banff as we live in Calgary and have stayed in more expensive hotels thinking that was the best way to go for comfort and service...staying at the fox proved us very wrong! Beds are VERY comfy...rooms are perfect and the cave and basin "pool" is fantastic! Walking into the lobby and smelling the fire place was also a very nice touch. […] I wouldn't recommend eating at the Chili's restaurant for lunch or dinner...but the continental breakfast is perfect! Came to banff last minute and got a great suite at the fox. We upgraded to a suite and it was a great decision. Lots more room and it was nice to have the mini kitchen. Kids loves the cave too! Can't beat it for the price

We were treated with great service by Tim at the front desk. The breakfast was great too.

A nice, clean hotel in a convenient location only a 10 minute walk to downtown Banff. The underground parking was easy to access, we parked there before checking in. Checking in was a breeze and only took a couple of minutes. The room itself was clean and comfortable with a chalet feel to it, heard a little noise throughout the night but overall quiet. […] The hot pool was packed but we still found a spot to sit and enjoy it, the only downside was waiting for the elevator up and down. Take the stairs whenever possible, there is great access to the lobby and underground parking if you wait for the elevator it will take much longer. Complimentary breakfast was simple but good a couple more hot items would make it unbeatable. Overall this place is the best hotel experience we've had in Banff and would recommend it to anyone. We had a loft suite which is compact but has a lovely fireplace, not sure it is worth the extra just for 1 night. A little walk to town, free parking was excellent. Breakfast not great, weak coffee, not much choice and disinterested staff member. Hot tub really clean and very cozy in the mock cave, good changing rooms, clean towels, nice.

Very nice, very clean, very comfortable, newly renovated, good breakfast (included) and excellent dinner recommendation from the front desk staff (The Maple Leaf).

STAYED AT THE FOX HOTEL THE END OF SEPTEMBER. THE ROOM WAS A LITTLE ON THE SMALL SIDE BUT WAS COMFORTABLE...THE HOT TUB WAS FANTASTIC AND THE BREAKFAST WAS GOOD....VERY FRIENDLY STAFF . FREE BUS PASS WAS GREAT!!!

Good stay is how I'd describe this. Corteus staff, convenient clean rooms. Breakfast buffet could be improved,

We stayed in a one-bedroom suite with an unusual configuration, but well equipped to be relaxing. The exterior door into the suite lead out to a circular porch that joined all the suites on that level. There was an open atrium below in the center with a large courtyard and a fenced opening that came from the lower-level, cavelike, hot pool that was […] accessed by the lower level corridor. We were only passing through from Lake Louise to the Glacier Natl Park, but it was a pleasant stop. The complimentary breakfast was very tasty. One issue was the parking in the underground was rather tight, but we had found the same situation when visiting Vancouver, BC in past travels. Maybe it's a Canadian thing and we are just not accustomed to it. Mehr

Service ok. Rooms are clean, functional, but motel style with windows overlooking common hallway. You have to keep the shades down all the time, and it's like not having windows effectively. Breakfast is continental, so so. Small rooms, a bit cramped for ski equipment. Bonus: decent-speed wireless internet.

Nice one bedroom suite, walking distance to town. Hot springs was inviting. Quiet atmosphere and excellent staff. Highly recommended.

Good location, less than 10 minutes walk from downtown with free bus service from outside the hotel, though we didn't use it. Hotel facilities were very good and front desk staff very helpful. Continental breakfast was also a bonus with a wider range of food on offer than I had expected. Offered the option to upgrade to a suite at check-in which we […] didn't take. The room we had was compact but clean and had all the required facilities. Overall I would recommend this hotel in Banff. Mehr

I booked this hotel especially because I could get a superior 1 bedroom suite for my husband and son's first vacation together for the first time in 10 years as a celebration of our son's graduation. They got a "loft room" and no sleep...very very disappointed and will make sure, for the price I paid, I tell everyone not to book there if there are other […] choices, and I have been to many in Banff and wanted to try someplace new...BIG mistake!!! never got what we ordered or paid so much for! sorry for my loved ones and angry too!
