Nach einigen Nächten in New York mit dort eher negativen Hotelerfahrungen (trotz angeblicher 4 Sterne) haben wir den überaus freundlichen Empfang im Marriott Toronto und die großzügigen, sauberen Zimmer sehr genossen. Die Lage ist ebenfalls für den Stadtbesuch sehr gut geeignet. Wir würden dieses Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen und können es guten Gewissens […] weiter empfehlen. Wir sind sehr häufig und überall auf der Welt unterwegs - kennen viele Hotels auch im Luxussegment - und kennen von daher die Unterschiede. Mehr

No bad reviews here! The hotel was clean, the room was a good size, clean and comfortable, the staff - friendly and the location was perfect and in a pretty quite area. First time staying at the Residence Inn and would definately come again.

I loved this hotel! Room was great, we had 3 kids with us and plenty of space in the two bedroom suite. Staff was very helpful and the entire hotel was very clean. Easy breakfast and they even had a light dinner at night for free! Don't hesitate to stay here!

Great hotel, clean, new, perfect service. Very conveniently located!

Great value for the money! Nice quiet hotel - close to everything! Bartender was fabulous (didn't catch his name) - he has great recommendations for restuarants & etc! He actually convinced my son to go up to the CN tower to have dinner & my son was soooo thankful that he did - it was an experience of a lifetime for him! Will definately return.

We had never stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn before...but will ONLY stay there from now on! What a great room! Small kitchen, pull out couch, bed, nice bathroom, etc. Staff was AWESOME! Morning breakfast was great. They gave us great advice on where to go, what to see, and what to do! The place was great! Don't stay elsewhere!

We loved this hotel and will definately book here again. The complimentary social hour was a huge bonus. Breakfast was really good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were amazing with the full kitchen. The complimentary microwave popcorn was a very sweet touch. We had a really good time and can't wait for our next stay. I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Everything was easy from check-in to check-out. It was very clean, friendly, and excellent customer service. I would recommend this to my friends and family.

My wife and I stayed one night with our adult daughter in a standard room. The room was large and comfortable, better than a simple hotel room. Great restaurants nearby. The hot breakfast was perfect and very convenient. We would definitely stay again.

Great location - close to theatre's, ACC and Roger Centre. Welcoming staff, nicely laid out rooms and vert clean. Would stay there again.

When we checked in we were upgraded to a better room and it was fabulous. This was our favorite hotel on our 2 week trip. We stayed 2 nights. Located centrally in Toronto we parked our car in a lot next door (valet parking is $35 a day; the parking lot about half the price). We walked to a lot of the sights and on the second day got a one day metro […] pass and saw the attractions further out. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Mehr

I travel extensively for work, and tho I do like the upscale hotels, residence inn sometimes tends to be a better option. This hotel in particular offered plenty of space, great views, great location in a safe area. It was nice after a long day of work to be able to walk back to my room and relax. There was plenty of space to do so and I was able to […] stock my fridge with things, so never went without... truly was a home away from home stay. If I am back in Toronto, I will opt to stay there. Stayed one night, 5 of us so having the extra space was very nice. I would recommend this hotel for larger stays for families or businessbut not if you are looking for any fancy. Also its a bit out of the way.

A bit pricier than the others but closer and great for us to do a lot in a short amount of time. We went to a blue jays' game, had dinner at Wayne Gretsky's restaurant and saw the sunset while at the CN Tower all in 1 day, so it was nice to be able to go back and forth in between. I stayed there for a week at the end of August, it's around the corner from the Blue Jays stadium which is pretty good. The room was massive, full kitchen, sitting area and good sized bathroom. Very comfortable. Facilities of the hotel were adequate, I'm a gym junkie so that part wasnt really up to my needs but not many hotels are. Free wifi in the […] room was a great bonus as well at the buffet breakfast. Not the best breakfast going around but free and enough selection. One thing that was a little strange to me was the lack of any room service. It worked out very well though because they have a selection of menus from surrounding restaurants that will deliver to your room and some give you a discount because you stay in the hotel. This meant that you wernt tied in to any particular style of food which was great. Overall, a very nice hotel in a good location, very clean and well looked after. Mehr

This place is great! The location is the best for sporting events. We have stayed here twice either to go to a hockey game or a baseball game. The breakfast buffet is excellent. We really enjoy our stay at this hotel.

We have been return guests. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast and internet no charge. Park around the corner - a third of the cost of valet parking. Location is superb for restaurants, MCC, Rogers centre, theatres. Rooms have fridge, microwave, toaster dishes etc.

As soon as my best friend and I stepped foot inside the hotel, we were greeted with a warm welcome. Although we only stayed for 3 days, we really enjoyed the room itself, the guest service, the amenities, and how close everything was from the hotel especially the CN tower. It was a quiet area with many things to eat around especially on King Street. […] When we got to the hotel room, we were in awe at how great the room was. They had supplied us with cooking utentils, cookware, a kitchen, a small living area and everything was clean and ready to use. The second floor of the hotel had a 3 feet swimming pool, a hot jacuzzi and a fitness center for the guest to use. Although I didn't get to use the fitness equipment, it looked pretty up to date as there were other guest using the equipment Overall, Great hotel. We stayed in studio room. That was beautiful and with modern kitchen. Microwave, fridge ,dishwasher ,pans and much dishes were equipped.Our children enjoyed pool.Hotel located very convenient place from restaurants and subway. Breakfast needs upgrade at this price , more room to accomadate and more meal options such as pancakes or waffles and the parking accomadations for $35 a day are terrible.....

We had a great time in Toronto. This was our first stay with Residence Inn. Everything about it was great! The only annoyance was with valet. They only had one guy getting/parking the cars and it took some time to wait for our vehicle or for the attendant. And it cost $35 a day to valet there. ouch! Other than that, it was a great choice. Marriott Residence Inn was just lovely. the location is right in entertainment district of Toronto. Walking distance to CN Tower, Convention Center, @nd City Comedy Club and more. The hotel was clean and nicely decorated. Wonderful service. Breakfast buffet and evening buffet were delicious and definitly help to keep travelling costs down. Only issue […] - the staff at front desk had minimal information or knowledge of the city, a lot of times the information was wrong. We learned to just research points of interest ourselves. Mehr

I was surprised to find out that I had to make the sofa bed myself. The room was booked for 4 people so I figured that the hotel made arrangements for 4 people to sleep. When I called the front desk to enquire as to someone making the bed, I was at that time, instructed that the sheets are in the closet and I would have to make it myself. I travel often […] as my children have out of town tournamnents for sports. I have never had to make up my own bed before this time. I will not hurry to stay with this hotel chain again. Mehr

A friend and I stayed overnight at this hotel and chose it based on 1) location and 2) online reviews. The location is perfect, especially if you are attending shows at the theatres or touring the St. Lawrence Market or are looking for great places to eat. There are numerous restaurants well within walking distance. We parked behind the hotel for $ […] 20 Cdn (overnight) which was cheaper than the hotel valet. The room was fantastic with the full kitchen; the pool and hot tub were awesome. I will definitely stay again. The complimentary breakfast did not disappoint either as it provided a full array of choices to suit all tastes. The only complaints that I have are minor: the water jugs in the main lobby, flavoured with lime/mint and orange slices did not get refilled on a regular basis and were often empty of water, and during check out time the elevators were slow, related to excessive use which is understandable. What I could not understand was why the cleaning staff were using the same elevators to transport their cleaning carts up and down, thus using up valuable elevator space. In addition to that, it would have been nice to have been greeted by someone upon walking into the hotel instead of having to say "excuse me" to the valet staff as they stood outside the main entrance. All in all, this is a great place to stay at. Mehr

The hotel was entirely booked, so I was unable to check-in on time. They informed me they would call me to let me know when my room was ready, but never did. I spent 2 hours sleeping on a floor, and was unable to get a room on the same floor as our friends. We were not able to be checked-in until 8:30 pm. There was also a domestic incident on our floor […] at 4:30 am which kept me awake for the rest of the night, despite the desks reassurances. Plus our floor's hall was vandalized. Mehr

The room was very clean, and very nicely appointed. The hotel itself is conveniently located within a minutes walk from the convention center. The hot breakfast which was included in the room rate, was a very pleasant surprise. I will stay there again.
