"Großes, modernes Apartment"
Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 23. Feb. 2013Die große Apartmentanlage befindet sich in einem Gewerbegebiet in der Nähe des Flughafens. Die Apartments selbst sind groß und modern eingerichtet. Die Küchenutensilien muss man bei der Rezeption extra anmieten. Wenn man das weiß, kann man sich darauf einstellen und entweder selbst etwas mitbringen und im Supermarkt eingekauftes zubereiten oder gleich auswärts essen. Dazu eignet sich z.B. das große Einkaufszentrum "Plenilunio", welches nur ca. 10 Minuten entfernt, alles bietet, was man benötigt:großen Supermarkt, Geschäfte zum Shoppen und Restaurants/Cafes. Die Reinigung der Apartments erfolgt täglich und ist ausreichend. Dass man ein langes schwarzes Haar im Bad findet, was definitiv nicht ein eigenes ist, muss man wohl überall verschmerzen, macht aber natürlich leider keinen so guten Eindruck... Das Ein-/und Auschecken funktionierte reibungslos. Wie schon in einigen Kritiken zu dieser Apartmentanlage geschrieben wurde, sind die Wände und Decken zwischen den Apartments nicht besonders dick, sodass leider alles etwas hellhörig ist. Das kostenlose Parken in der Umgebung ist für uns jederzeit möglich gewesen. So war es nicht nötig, die kostenpflichtige Tiefgarage zu benutzen. Da wir uns nur in der Umgebung des Flughafens(zum Planespotten) aufhielten und keine öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel benutzten, kann ich nichts zur Anbindung an die City sagen. Alles in allem, kann man diese Apartmentanlage aufgrund des guten Preis-/Leistungsverhältnisses empfehlen.

Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 17. Feb. 2013Wir waren zu zweit für 4 Tage im Februar hier. Das Hotel ist seeehr zentral gelegen und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir hatten zuerst ein Zimmer zugewiesen bekommen, das nur 2 Fenster zum Lüftungsschacht hatte, bekamen aber am nächsten Tag auf unsere Bitte hin ohne Probleme eine anderes Zimmer, das sehr schön war. Personal durchaus freundlich - bis auf die für den Frühstücksaal zuständige Mitarbeiterin, die braucht noch ein paar Unterrichtsstunden zu diesem Thema.

"Hotel ideal um morgens wegzufliegen."
Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 8. Feb. 2013Hotel liegt in einem Gewerbegebiet und direkt an der Autobahn. Morgens benötigt man mit dem Mietwagen ca. 10 Minuten zum Flughafen. Ideal also falls der Flieger morgens losgeht. Wie es in unserem Fall war. Um Madrid zu erkunden gibt es geeignetere Hotels.

Am westlichen Ende der Hauptverkehrsstraße Gran Via befindet sich der Plaza de España mit seinen Bauten aus der Zeit Francos wie dem rotweißen Wolkenkratzer Edificio España. Der nahe gelegene Palacio Real (Königspalast) wurde im Jahre 1764 fertig gestellt. Noch heute finden im prachtvollen Thronsaal des Schlosses Staatsempfänge statt. Mittwochs können EU-Bürger die prächtigen Räumlichkeiten des Palastes kostenlos besichtigen. Die Vorlage eines gültigen Personalausweises ist erforderlich. Anschließend können Besucher die wunderschönen Statuen in Sabatinis Gärten bewundern.

"Sehr zu empfehlen für Städtetrip"
Hotel liegt sehr zentral! Zimmer groß und sauber! Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hatten ohne Frühstück gebucht. Wer Frühstück möchte, kann im Nachbarhotel Hotel Coloso frührstücken. Wir sind allerdings immer in der Gran Via (2 min) in verschiedenen Cafe`s frühstücken gegangen....für wenig Geld!! Hotel würden wir immer wieder buchen!!Authentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

"Besuch von Madrid"
Dieses Hotel eignet sich sehr gut für die Besichtigung von Madrid, sowie das Madrid Open. Es ist sehr gut vom Flughafen her mit der Metro erreichbar (einmal umsteigen) und vom Hotel her ist man wieder mit der Metro ohne Umsteigen beim Madrid Open. Nebst dem Tennis kann man von diesem Hotel aus Madrid uns seine schönen Bistros, Parks und vieles mehr […] zu Fuss erreichen. Es lohnt sich auch mit dem Doppelstöcker eine Besichtigungstour zu machen um sich einen Ueberblick von Madrid zu machen. Wir sind begeistert von Madrid, der Sauberkeit der Stadt und natürlich dem Hotel. Wir können uns gut vorstellen, bei einem erneuten Besuch von Madrid dieses Hotel wieder zu wählen. This hotel is the perfect location for easy walks to the royal palace and oriente park, plaza espana, puerto del sol, de bod temple, and plaza mayor. Plus it is just steps from the metro for great access to the rest of the city. "Great stay"
The front desk was very accomidating They let me check in early by several hours. They let me extend my stay at a discounted rate and they were very helpful in directing me to various places around the city. I had a wonderful stay and no real complaints. The only thing I can think of is that the bathrooms had no fan and the bed was pretty hard even […] for a person who sleeps on an extra firm matress. Everything else was great. "Basic Hotel in Madrid - Convenient Location"
I had read in previous reviews for this hotel that they provide drinks in the refrigerator for free. This is NOT true - they charge for everything, even water (at the usual exorbitant hotel rates). Also, while there is a kitchenette in our room, there is absolutely nothing to use it with - not even one plate, or bowl, nor glass, and not one utensil […] - no spoon nor fork. While there is a microwave and oven, there is absolutely nothing you can use it with - unless you buy a bag of microwaveable popcorn! Also, there is no breakfast with the price for the room -actually this hotel has a very tiny lobby, so there would be no place to serve breakfast in any case. "A wonderful small hotel"
Don't judge a book by it's cover! First impressions may put you off this great little hotel. Suites 33 has none of the "extras" that some hotels add - gym, huge lobby, pool, computer center, restaurant, etc. It's home appears to be in a somewhat questionable neighborhood. That said. the rooms are comfortable and exceptionally clean. The front desk staff […] was very helpful and the neighborhood turned out to be well-situated and very quiet and safe. We spent three nights In November with them and would be very happy to return again. If you are looking for a great place to hang your hat while you explore Madrid, Suites 33 is for you! This hotel is no frills in a good central location. Located a few meters from a police station, the area is safe. There is no real lobby but our family room (king bed and pull-out couch) was large, clean, and quiet (with windows on an interior courtyard). The pull-out couch was not very comfortable and the bed was very hard. There are good restaurants […] nearby and it's a short walk to all of the major sights in the city. "Great value for the money"
The hotel is great and staff is very pleasant and helpful. However the location is a little seedy even though it's pretty central (next to Plaza Espania), it's on the street that doesn't have too many people at night and next to a strip club. We stayed at the hotel for four nights during Oct/12. Staff at the hotel were both friendly and helpful. Our room, which was on the 5th floor, was very quiet. The room itself, which was very clean, was large with a king sized bed and a nice, modern bathroom. There was a safe + wifi was available in the room. Hotel is very well situated close to Plaza […] d'Espagna (100 yards) and the Gran Via as well as two metro stations. Both the Royal Palace and the Plaza Mayor are within reasonable walking distance from the hotel. There is no restaurant or bar in the hotel but you are able to use these facilities at a sister hotel further up the street and there are many restaurants and coffee shops closeby. I really liked this hotel. My room was huge!1 it was very minimal with the decore, but that doesn't bother me, it was comfortable, and not the normal shoebox hotel room I have become accustomed to while traveling in Europe. No onsite restaurant or bar, but there are 2 markets very nearby, one next door, and quite a few restaurants. Great location, near […] to Plaza de Espana. "Good hotel"
Nice, but a little off the beaten path. A little walk to Atocha train station, but not terrible. The restaurant was OK for breakfast. Some friends said their room smelled of smoke, but ours was fine. We were within walking distance of all major sites in the downtown area (35 minutes to the Prado; 10 minutes to Palacio Real). When we didn't feel like walking, the metro was about 100 meters away. Another convenience: we could buy fruit and snacks on the same block as the hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Ideally located just off Gran Via and close to all major attractions and amenities. Staff very friendly and helpful. "not the best"
It´s a good location,very convinient,very clean though very basic.The staff is extermely friendly,helpful,and nice. However,the beds are horrible! "Clean, modern hotel close to Plaza de Espana"
Very satisfied with stay. Only drawback was that the beds were very firm. My husband liked that. I did not. Other than that, the hotel and room were very clean. This is a great hotel in a perfect location in Madrid. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The hotel lobby is small but understates the wonderful room. The room is large with a galley style kitchen. There aren't any kitchen accessories but anything can be provided upon request. We loved our stay here. The Suites 33 hotel in Madrid was located on a side street, a block from the Grand Via, major boulevard.
