Im Zimmer steht Ihnen ein kostenloser Highspeed-Internetzugang (W-LAN und Kabel) zur Verfügung. Neben einem 32-Zoll-Flachbildfernseher mit Premium-Digital-TV-Empfang sind die Zimmer mit folgenden Angeboten und/oder technischen Geräten ausgestattet: TV-Internetzugang (kostenlos) und Pay-TV. Das Mediterranean Inn liegt etwas außerhalb des Zentrums Seattles in der Nähe des Seattle Centers (mit Space Needle). Es ist bequem per Bus (tageszeitabhängiger Preis zwischen $2,25 und $2,50) zu erreichen. Gleich nebenan ist ein Starbucks, dessen Kaffeeduft in die Lobby des Hotels zieht. Unser Zimmer war mit einer Mikrowelle, Spüle und einem Kühlschrank sowie großen Flachbildschirm ausgestattet. Leider hatte es keinen Safe, was aber nicht schlimm war. Das Bad war sauber und groß. Leider ohne Fenster. Der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer ging in den Innenhof des Hotels. Schade aber nicht so schlimm, denn die Dachterrasse des Hotels erlaubt einen Blick über Seattle. Die Angestellten des Hotels machten einen netten und hilfsbereiten Eindruck und haben uns auch um 4 Uhr morgens bei unsere Abreise geholfen. Das Hotel verfügt über WLAN und ein Business Center. Das WLAN ist für $5 pro Tag nutzbar und kann mit einem Fahrradausleihprogramm (in Summe $7,99) kombiniert werden. Im Sommer bestimmt sehr sinnvoll. Das Business Center ist kostenlos nutzbar (ebenso wie die Drucker und Faxgeräte darin). Außerdem verfügt das Hotel über einen Fitnessraum und diverse Münzwaschmaschinen und Trockner). Noch etwas zur Umgebung. In unmittelbarer Nähe (3-5 min zu Fuß) sind diverse Restaurants, Kneipen und auch ein Kino. Ebenso wie ein Safeway Supermarkt.

Komfortable großzügige Zimmer, unseres mit komplett eingerichteter Küche. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet mit Obst, Joghurt, Müsli etc. Minishop und ebenfalls ein kleiner Starbucks sind auch im Hotel vorhanden. Die Lage ist der einzige Minuspunkt für uns gewesen, da sehr weit vom Innenstadtbereich entfernt (zu Fuß ca. 25 Minuten). Ebenfalls direkt an der Interstate gelegen, somit 24 Stunden die Autos zu hören.

Die Vorzüge des Hotels sind eindeutig: 1.) Die ausgezeichnete Lage für Reisende die möglichst schnell (ca. 200 m zu Fuß) vom Hotel bis zu Check-In Schalter kommen möchten. Wegen der Kürze des Weges geht das sogar zu Fuß bei Regen ohne Schirm! 2.) Die unmittelbare Nähe (ca. 250 m) zum LightRail Link zwischen Flughafen und Seattle Downtown, wobei die Tageskarte ca. 5$ kostet. Fahrtzeit ca. 35 Minuten. Ansonsten war das Hotel älter in der Ausstattung (ungefähr 70er Jahre Bauzeit) mit einigen Upgrades (z.B. zwei neue Flachbildschirme). Das Standard-Zimmer (Bad, Schlafzimmer, Auftenhaltsraum) war sauber. Die Lounch und der Frühstücksbereich des Hotels gepflegt. Das Frühstück war hingegen nur Durchschnitt, so daß man eher in Seattle Downtown frühstücken möchte. Der sehr Nahe gelegene Flughafen bietet diesbezüglich auch nur wenig an. Einzige Kritikpunkte meines Zimmers auf der Seite zum Flughafen war der laute Straßenverkehr des 'Internationl Boulevard' for dem Hotel (der Fluglärm hingegen war gut erträglich). Und die Klimaanlage, welche in Seattle aber selten nötig wäre, wenn man das Fenster öffenen könnte. Das ging zwar mechanisch problemlos, aber bei dem Straßenverkehr-Krach ... Ich würde das Hotel dennoch weiterempfehlen. In der Summe war es rund.

Die Eastside von Seattle ist einer der wohlhabendsten Bezirke Amerikas. Die Anwesen mit einem Wert von mehreren Millionen Dollar am Ufer des Lake Washington dienen als luxuriöses Domizil für einige bekannte Milliardäre, darunter auch Bill Gates. Mit ihren riesigen Bürohochhäusern und Bankentürmen steht die Skyline von Bellevue Downtown der von Seattle in nichts nach. An der Eastside sind mehrere Hauptfirmensitze angesiedelt, u. a. die von Microsoft, Nintendo of America und Eddie Bauer.

This hotel was nice, but I found it a little pricey for what we got. The rooms were no fancier than your run of the mill hotel that would have been a lot cheaper. When I booked the hotel I thought there would be a lot more to do and there wasn't. Overall, it was a decent hotel, but I wouldn't spend the extra $$ on it.
"Pet clean and friendly"
We absolutely loved the way our pets were treated, not only did they make us feel welcomed but our feelings of having our very well trained and small pets as well. the treatment was above and beyond other places we have stayed, I have never left our pets alone in a room until this stay and we only went to the Hotel restaurant for Christmas breakfast […] and felt totally comfortable leaving them in the room with no worries . the staff was amazing from the time we pulled up to the curb, thank you and we will recommend and always return when the occasion calls upon . "Outstanding Service"
The staff @ the Heathman was great. They were very professional and helpful to may every need. Room was comfortable and priced right. Did not care for the food from Trellis. The only other downside that I experienced was there was no Hot tube or pool. Otehr thank that, a very nice Hotel.

Very beautiful hotel and room, huge spacious bed and room, Love the bathroom with the seperate stand up shower, deep long bath tub... The French Press coffee a great cpmplimentary addition that really enlightened mewith a wonderful, smooth delicious cup of coffee. The restaurant and server Mark, was also wonderful. Thank you

Quite excellent choice. Nothing significant to complain of, and great attached restaurant with good choice of fresh food at all times of the day. Good location with all facilities close-by including waterfront, arty shops and asian fusion restaurants.

Every member of the staff we dealt with was so friendly and helpful. We had our dog with us and they treated her like royalty! We loved the area. Lots of neat shops within walking distance, lots of parks...and a marina and beach two blocks away! What more could you ask for?

"Hidden Gem in the Center of Town"
The Heathman Hotel in Kirkland was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed with. It made our first trip to WA so comfortable and relaxing. From the valet, front desk, spa, housekeeping and restaurant staff they were all very welcoming and gracious throughout our entire stay. We dined in the restaurant Trellis majority of our stay from breakfast, lunch, […] Happy Hour and dinner, because the cuisine was outstanding, beautiful setting with indoor and outdoor options, service gracious and timely and the value was fantastic. The hotel is in the center of Kirkland and so convenient to the transportation system, Lake Washington and many of the fun shops in town. We can't wait to stay again. Mehr

"Extremely nice hotel"
The rooms were all very nicely appointed and well kept. All the staff were young but highly attentive and eager to assist with numerous items. Small, but highly quality fitness center. The restaurant was very good and there was a very good espresso cafe across the street. Overall, an excellent experience for a relatively modest price.

"Liked everything about it"
My wife and I found the hotel to be very clean, well maintained and they have a very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is right in the downtown area so you are close to everything in Kirkland and the highway is only a few minutes away if you are going elsewhere. Everything about our stay was great. The attached restaurant, Trellis, had some service […] issues (very slow), but that is separate from the hotel service. There are many other places in Kirkland to eat, so there is no need to eat at Trellis unless you have some extra time to spare. Mehr

"Comfortable place to rest your head"
Since it was my husband's first time to the area, we decided to splurge a little and get the breakfast and parking package. The hotel itself is about 10-15 minutes from downtown Seattle but the surrounding town of Kirkland is charming and peaceful and full of enticing restaurants and a scenic view of the city across the water. The hotel staff were very […] friendly and accommodating and the rooms are large and spacious with very modern amenities. With the breakfast package, we were able to have it delivered to the room every morning before heading out for the day. One thing of note, if you don't have a car, the hotel provides complimentary transportation to the surrounding towns of Bellevue and Redmond. The Heathman was a very nice hotel with excellent service. The area felt a little like a colder Hawaii with a number of nice restaurants near by and a nice walk along the lake shore. Great service and great room. The only drawback I can think of is that the bathroom in our room had no fan and the parking is valet or you have to go find parking somewhere else.

I booked this hotel last minute and was a little nervous having done no research on it and I was absolutely blown away by how wonderful it was. The service was fantastic the facility was amazing and we had the best sleep in those comfy beds. We've already booked our next getaway there.

The Heathman Hotel, Kirkland Wash. exceeded our expectations. We talked with our travel partners and decided there was not one thing we could improve upon. We noted how pleasant the service staff are. The Trellis restaurant is A-1 as the chef has a 10 acre farm on which he grows many of the menu items. We would return without question.

"Great hotel, noisy vent in our room."
Great hotel, nice experience. We'd stay there again. The vent in our room was annoying though. It clicked off and on all night long and made a lot of noise each time. The food at Trellis is delicious too!
"Outstanding community"
The hotel was at the centre of a quiet community. A block from art boutiques, excellent restaurant, play house, movie theatre, QFC, and much more. The hotel has excellent Latte and Mocha. The burger was very good. I definitely be back at the Heathman.

This hotel is located perectly in walking distance to all of Downtown Kirkland...By far the best place to stay in Kirkland. The Trellis Restaurant is excelent. for all meals. Bar is fun and happening.

Everything about this hotel was spectacular. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was just beautiful. We had our dog with us and he loved everything about it as well! "Heathman Hotel is perfect for Seattle Eastside"
I've stayed at the Heathman many, many times over the past couple of years and I've never been disappointed. If you are expecting something flashy like a boutique NYC hotel, you've come to the wrong place. The Heathman is a simple and clean room with everything you could need. The beds are wonderful and you get to choose a type. The rooms have everything […] from extra pillows, blankets, iron boards, etc... that you would expect - I can't remember once when I've had to call down to ask for something to be provided. Best of all, the place is clean, clean, clean. I've always felt relaxed and comfortable every time I go to Seattle because I know I get to return to the Heathman at the end of a long day. The staff is top notch. Pleasant, polite, they remember you, they go out of their way to make sure you get exactly what you need. If you have any questions or issues, they are resolved promptly and everything is just taken care of. I can't recommend this hotel enough. I'm in Seattle about once a month and this is one of my two places that I will always stay. Mehr

"A Hidden Gem"
I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed staying at this hotel. Originally it was my second choice because the hotel I wanted was booked. But next time, I will be staying at the Heathman no matter what. Kirkland is such a cute little seaside town located close to wineries, shopping and beautiful Lk. Washington. You are two blocks from most of the fun clubs […] and taverns so you can walk everywhere but if you need it, they have a free car service so you don't have to drive. Mehr

Construction on the streets surrounding the hotel made parking and check-in a nightmare. The staff were very nice and helpful, they were the shining light of our stay. The hotel restraunt food was not good at all, from the lukewarm coffee to the stale muffins served under the eggs benedict. The suite had no tub and bad volume on the sitting room TV. We decided to stay in Kirkland after a short visit there a few years ago. Very cute town, with several boutiques, right on Lake Washington. Two block walk to the lake. Excellent restaurant on the water just a couple of blocks from the hotel (Anthony's). Hotel restaurant was also exemplary. They charge for hotel parking and use a valet service. "The Heathman in Kirkland WA"
The Heathman is located within walking distance of the lake shore, great dining and cafes. They have a great outdoor dining area at the hotel where we met both locals and guests. If you like to shop Bellevue is only a few miles away with some great shopping locations. And more great places to eat.
