Das Hotel ist recht modern und die Zimmer sind angenehm. Vor allem das Bad ist nett eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig für spanische Verhältnisse. Die Lage ist absolut in Ordnung wenn man in den Osten Madrids reisen muss für geschäftliche Termine. Der Park "Parque del Retiro" ist ganz in der Nähe, gut zum Joggen und absolut schön. I liked this hotel for its price and the service was very good. I would go there again. My only reservation was its location. Although the hotel seemed like it was located in a good neighborhood, It felt a little too quiet in the evening to feel comfortable walking alone.

This hotel came across looking nice and peaceful over the Internet. However, my wife and I had many problem while staying here. The location seemed like it was in the projects, the Internet was so slow it took me 15 min to check an email and an hour to load a picture into an email. When walking into the lobby of the hotel we were hit in the face with […] the smell of garbage. We don't know why it smelled so bad but it it did. The staff tried to help if they were not busy but if their was a line or more than one person at the desk they would act like our problems were not important. The beds were uncomfortable and exactly at midnight dab night we were waken up to the garbage trucks. We even switched rooms to see if this would help but it did not. The buffet and food was priced ridiculously. I will not be staying here ever again. This hotel is a two star at most. Mehr

Nice hotel except the free Wi-Fi was super slow 70kb/s. If you are travelling with car the garage is really expensive. Great location and clean rooms.

nothing in neighourhood, but easy #20 bus to center of town. Advertised WIFI is a shill to sell you one that really works properly. Bathroom fabulous, room size, and breakfast good enough, but no ramp up to front door.

Lovely, comfortable, modern hotel. NOT close to the museums. However, very close to a subway stop. Located in a residential area a long way from the old city and museums.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights on a family holiday. We booked an Executive room with an extra bed. The room was probably a little small with the extra bed but otherwise very clean and comfortable. There was a nice sized bathroom. Staff were helpful and spoke good English. This is not a 4 stars hotel!!!!! My towels were terrible, with holes and tears. The room was very small. The front desk was very rude and unpleasent (in special Mr. Alejandro). They couldn't speak english. I definitly don't recomend it!!!

This was a very nice hotel. Within walking distance to most places of interest. Also close to metro for areas that were further away. Staff was helpful and courteous.

There aren't very many negatives to report for this hotel. The staff was super friendly, they accommodated us with certain requests and even got us a discount to the Real Madrid game through their connections. The hotel is really close to the Metro (literally one block) and the bus is right at the corner. You can even walk through Parque del Retiro […] to the Sol area in like 20 minutes. Rooms were clean and they even leave 3 bottles of water in the fridge each day. The only down side to this hotel is no free Wi-Fi or computer access. Drinks at the bar are reasonably priced but the food was a bit expensive. Great hotel for the price! Mehr

Very difficult. to find anyone to speak English. We became sick and had to delay our departure one day. They took advantage of us and doubled the price of the rooms. We shall not go back again!

Lovely hotel can't find fault a very few staff had any english but we got by. The hotel was a bit away from the centre but very close to metro

Location close to bus and subway, but not near tourist attractions. 15-25 min. subway ride to most attractions. Area very quiet with small restaurants close. Triple rooms achieved by use of a roll-away which made room very crowded. Plenty of storage room, refrigerator and safe. Bathroom very, very nice and large, especially by European standards. Hotel […] staff very friendly, helpful, courteous and informative. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who does not want to stay in the busy center of town. I would stay here again. Only complaint -- complimentary coffee available in lobby very, very early in the morning. It should be available until a more reasonable time. Also, tea should be available for non-coffee drinkers. The hotel's style, furnishings, and decorations are those of a bouquet hotel and it is quite pleasant to stay in it. I got a great deal via Hotels.com and would recommend it to others who like to stay in bouquet type of hotels. The hotel is located on the eastern side of the Retiro Park, basically opposite from the Prado Museum, which is located on […] the park's western side. However, it is impossible to make a short cut and get to the Prado bu walking through the park in a straight line - you have to either walk around the park and then cut through it diagonally, or else, take a bus which is conveniently located in block away from the hotel. The final destination of the bus is the Puerta del Sol (one of the main squares in the city center). To get to the Prado, you'll have to exist at the the Plaza de la Independencia or Plaza de Cibeles and then walk to the museum. The walk from the city center to the hotel may take you anywhere between 45 minutes and one hour. The Internet connection is often slow. Rooms have a minibar which does not have any drinks in it except for the complimentary two small bottles of water and a small complimentary bottle of mineral water. The breakfast buffet is limited and it costs 15 euros, which seemed too expensive in comparison with other hotels where buffets are richer and better. The hotel has a parking garage and if the staff is present they will put your car in the garage and bring it back when you need it. But this is not a true valley parking since on the day of my checkout there was nobody to bring my car to me and I had to check two separate parking areas to find my car! The parking is 20 euros a day (not bad for a major city) with unlimited daily entries/exits. The hotel bar is open 7 am - 1 am daily and one can get a smaller and cheaper breakfast in it for 4-6 euros, including coffee, orange juice, a tiny sandwich, and a pastry. Mehr

This hotel has two separate buildings, you don't know which one until you go to the first one and ask. I think we were sent to the older one. When we tried to find out we were asked (not very amiable) how many nights. Two nights? The other building. We were lucky that the taxi driver waited for us. This other hotel has quite a few steps, and nobody […] to help with the suitcases. They need to replace the beds, they are creaky and not very comfortable. they are like roll aways. Same with pillows. You have to call front desk a couple of times to get an extra pillow. Not a good experience. Mehr

My stay at the Ayre Hotel was great. The room was modern, immaculate and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay there again and I highly recommend it. There is a metro stop a block away that can take you quickly into downtown.

Great hotel, very clean and roomy. It is close to several bus lines and a good metro connection. Several places nearby (within 1 block) for breakfast, lunch and drinks. I recommend it

This was a clean and nice hotel, a little out of the way, but we didn't mind. We just jumped on the metro (which is close) to go anywhere we needed.

Good location. The El Retiro Park and the Prado are within walking distance. And the center of town is a quick subway ride away. The staff were friendly and helpful. On my first night they gave me a smoking room, which was horrible. It smelled of smoke and cigarette ashes were actually on the floor of one of the cabinets. The hotel is located a bit out of the center, a distance of two trains away, which made traveling a bit tedious. Retrospectively, i would take a hotel closer to the center for tourism and seeing the sites. For business reasons (not my case) i guess it's OK. The hotel is new, nice looking, well designed, and the room itself was very comfortable. One […] of the main reasons i decided to take this hotel was the free WI-FI they offered. When i arrived- it wasn't working! i had to come down to the lobby to use it. They didn't apologize or seem to care when i complained. Besides that, the service wasn't great. The hotel is clean and practical, with modern style, but the servise is terrible (not nice and inneficient) and the hotel feels 'cold'.

Close to the metro station, and the center!! Have some small bars and restaurants close by.. Great staff very helpful. Have a bar and restaurant at the hotel as well!!Nice rooms in a nice quite area!Loved it!

Check in was a breeze, the hotel staff was attentive. The hotel is stylish, modern, and conveniently located. The room was small but very smartly furnished and quite comfortable. We loved the rainfall showerhead and the translucent bathroom glass wall. Don't miss the stained glass walls in the hall and lounge areas.

Very modern decor, very clean, pretty good location to the east of the Retiro and handy for the metro. My 'executive room' was a good deal, with free wifi and free water. The only slight niggle is that the breakfast was unspectacular - compared to, say, an NH hotel - but I would happily go back.

Fiquei impressionada pela qualidade do hotel em relação ao custo. O quarto é bastante confortável e o banheiro é muito bom. Não é uma localização que dê para visitar os principais pontos turísticos à pé, mas o metrô está a um quarteirão de lá e chega em todos os lugares.

El hotel es agradable, limpio y cuanta con una estacion de metro muy cerca lo que te permite mover por toda la ciudad con facilidad. De igual forma caminando puedes ir a cualquier punto turistico de la ciudad, lo recomiendo.

O wi-fi é pago. Parece-me absurdo que não se possa usufruir de Internet de forma livre num hotel de 4 estrelas. Localização, limpeza e conforto muito bom.

Excelente hotel, un personal muy amable y dispuesto a ayudar en todo lo que se necesite, dispuesta a quedarme otra vez en el mismo, lo único que falta es que tengan traslados al aeropuerto.
