Hotel Grand Fresa Akasaka - Tokio

Ein nettes kleines Hotel in Tokyo. Alles sehr sauber, die Rezeption spricht gut Englisch, die U-Bahn Station Akasaka liegt gleich gegenüber. Sicherlich, die meisten Zimmerfenster schauen nur auf Häuser gegenüber, aber wer eine schöne Aussicht über Tokio genießen will, geht auf den Tokio Tower, oder das Tokio World Trade Center. Von dem hat man vor allem […] abends einen spektakulären Blick auf den beleuchteten Tokio Tower. Das Frühstück ist nicht üppig, aber man muss es ja nicht nehmen. Zimmerbezug war erst ab 14 Uhr möglich, insofern kann man sich auf der Anreise ruhig erstmal mit der Tokyo Metro vertraut machen. Gepäck wird gerne schon früher in Verwahrung genommen. In der Tokio Metro gibt es 2 Betreiber. Tokio Metro Line und Toei Line. Meist reicht die Tokio Metro Line aus. Das Tagesticket kostet 710 Yen (2012), und man bekommt es am Automaten. Bildschirm durch berühren aufwecken, "English" antippen und dann "Open Day Ticket" auswählen. Dann wird man gefragt, ob Tokio Metro Line (710) oder beide (1000) Linien. Geld einwerfen (Scheine/Münzen) und das Ticket kommt raus. Die Tickets werden beim Zutritt zu den Gleisen in die Schranke eingeschoben (gelber Schlitz) und nach der Schranke wieder entnommen. Beim Verlassen der U-Bahn das gleiche noch mal. U-Bahn Plan, Stadtpläne, etc. auch in English, Deutsch, etc. gibt es am Flughafen am Info-Schalter kostenlos. Vom Flughafen bis zum Tokioter Metro-Netz erstmal mit einem Schnellzug z.B. von Keisei für 1280 (langsam) oder 2400 (schnell und nur mit Sitzplatzreservierung). Viel Spaß in Tokio! Mehr

The room although small, is fully equiped. The location is just beside the Akasaka subway station. There are a couple of 24hr marts all around. There's no wireless in the room though.

Had a very pleasant stay here, although the room is very small and fits only one piece of luggage. Staff were pleasant however check in is late (3pm) had to pay ¥1000 per hour to check in early. Hotel is in an office district close to lots of restaurants and a short walk from alasaka mitsuke, a posh area with more night life. Only down was that it is […] not on the main train line so expect to change 1-2 times to get back if travelling from the main areas like Shinjuku and shibuya. However, hotel is a less than a minute from akasaka station. Tip on getting from the airport, take the train as it is cheaper and arguably the same time wise. A very nice hotel in Japan and gave me good living experience in there.Convenient location,just 2 mins walk from the Akasaka station,is very easy to the famous signt seeing places.The staffs are friendly and helpful.Btw,if the hotel could provide the Wifi service that would be great,but of course they got the free cable internet in every single rooms.Definitly […] the hotel would be the choice for me to live in Japan next time. The room is clean and tidy, quite new actually. The location is prime, there are a lot of restaurants, cafes, noodle shops, sushi bars around. Extremely close to Akasaka station and a nice walking distance to Akasaka-Mitsuke station. The location and surronding is excellent. Only one thing that I will complain is the size of the room. It is so small […] that you cannot even open your suit case on the floor. I spent 3 nights here and I need to upgrade to Grand Double in those 3 nights just to make enough room to open my suit case. My wife and I spent 3 night at this hotel. Served our needs fine. The rooms are quite small but comfortable and clean. Akasaka station is literally underneat the hotel with an exit just across the street or about 40 meters down the sidewalk. Surrounding neighborhood is pleasant and there are hundreds of restaurants within easy walking distance. The […] Roppongi area is also within longer walking distance. Right across the street from the Akasaka green line station. Very clean and comfortable western-style room. I had a single room, which wasn't huge, but was perfect for 1 person and is par for Tokyo. The bathroom, even though small, actually was bigger than other hotels in Japan -- it had a full size tub. Bed and sheets were very comfortable. Negatives were that they wouldn't let me check in 30-60 minutes earlier, and they don't have wifi in the rooms (what's up with the dearth of wifi in Japan?) Mehr

Great location and great value for Tokyo. Rooms are small as expected but this is Tokyo. Subway station is right across the street, and lots to see in the area (within walking distances). Friendly hotel staff and extremely helpful. This is stated as a 3-star hotel but can easily be a 4-star in some of the other SE Asia countries. Recommended.

I highly recommend this hotel for the price. The room is small but that seems to be the standard in Tokyo. Subway station across the street. Love the heated toilet seat!!!

Very small room, great location

Location was wonderful - right above Metro, lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Rooms are small (of course) but given that it's Tokyo, it was entirely adequate for 1-2 people. Nothing "luxurious" but I didn't find a thing that wasn't up to par or of the same quality as everything else in my stay.

We found this place to be immaculately clean. While the rooms are small (as ALL of the hotel rooms are in Japan), this one was VERY well laid out so that it did not feel as cramped. This hotel is about 50 feet away from Exit 6 for the Akasaka Subway station. We found it a wonderful central location to visit anywhere in Tokyo. The subway system in Tokyo […] was wonderful, allowing us to visit Shibuya, Akihabara, Harajuku (Meiji-jingumae), Asakusa, Ginza, Ueno, and Nakano with ease. As you can tell, that spans all over Tokyo. Oddly enough, nearby Rappongi is a little difficult to get to via subway because of a need for a transfer a little out, but if you are going there, you will be out past the subways' operational time and a taxi ride back is very inexpensive, as it is so close. The staff is extremely helpful and polite, and they had someone that understood English well for those not too confident in their Japanese. I would highly reccomend this hotel to anyone visiting Tokyo. Mehr

We stayed in this hotel for 11nights and had a wonderful time here. The hotel staff spoke excellent english and provided prompt and friendly service. The rooms were cosy and comfortable albeit being the typical Japanese size. (ps: lack of closet space) It's located directly opposite exit 7 of Akasaka Station; a godsent when walking long distances daily. […] Nice area with lots of restaurants and cafes. Conveniently situated amongst many shops and cafes. An easy 10-15min walk to Roppongi area, where all the action happens at night. I booked this hotel at an affordable price of 7000jpy and the excellent location, room cleanliness as well as the pleasant staff let me very satisfied with this hotel. I recommend it! Area around is very nice too ...

I'd definitely recommend this hotel because: - The room was spotless and had all the necessary items etc. - The staff are very helpful, efficient and speak English - The hotel looks nicer from the inside than the outside. From the outside it's a bit difficult to see which is the hotel and which is the cafe next door, but walking in, it soon shows […] itself as a nice hotel with a bit of class. - It's in a nice area. It is a lively district - lots of small bars and restaurants that are open late into the night. However, it's not a dodgy area, despite the offers of massages! Good location, very close to Akasaka metro station. The Chiyoda line is not the most useful--you need to change to other lines (easy) to get to most attractions or make a short walk from the hotel to Akasaka-mitsuke on the more useful Marunouchi and Ginza lines. Hotel is superb, location is so convenient. Minor problem is room very small. If you have a child without bed, you are in for trouble.

If you don't mind small rooms, then this hotel is just perfect. Great service (laptop rental), clean and comfortable rooms at reasonable prices.

You'll enjoy how nice and polite the staff is here, the convenience to Akasaka subway station (just steps away--take exit 6, turn left when you reach the road, walk about 20 steps and you're there on the left). Overall, a great value hotel in Tokyo that I would definitely return to. I stayed in an east wing room for 4 nights. The hotel is well located in Akasaka, a lively part of Tokyo that is near to Roppongi. The hotel is 100m from exit 6 of Akasaka subway station so it is very handy to get around Tokyo. The only reason I have not awarded 5 stars is that the room was tiny- I knew it would be small but was still a bit taken aback when I walked in! The room was meticulously clean. The location was convenient to a subway station. The only Western style breakfast we could locate in the area was at a nearby McDonald's. I needed to borrow a plug from the front desk to plug my computer power cord with three prongs into a two prong outlet.

A great little hotel and right across the green line on the metro. Easy to travel around the city from the hotel. Very friendly and competent staff who gave me directions to great restaurants nearby. Rooms small, but that is normal in Tokyo. This hotel used the space available very well. I would stay here again and recommend it.

This hotel is very conveniently located down form the subway stop. The rooms are small with little storage. We had a double but chose to upgrade to larger room and they were very accomodating. The staff was outstanding and very helpful. They even walked us to a local restaurant when we didn't understand the directions.

Very comfortable hotel, with reasonable sized bedroom and bathroom. The body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom were a lovely touch, and smelt great. Good value stay.

I love boutique hotels, this is one of them. Great location to transport with access to popular lines Hibya, Chioda. Akasaka has great restaurants, open till late try Edjiya, one of my favourites. My girlfriend and I loved this hotel. It looks brand new, is well maintained and is located in Akasaka close to several metro stops and in walking distance to Japan's nightlife. The Front desk personnel were very friendly, greeted you upon entrance and exit and were happy to fulfill any requests we had. Walk out either to the left or right of The Chisun […] Grand Akasaka and find anything from restaurants to convenience stores. The hotel is also walking distance to a section filled with a wide variety of great bars and restaurants happy to serve all who enter their doors. As many others have mentioned, the rooms are quite tiny (common for Tokyo). Do not bring large luggage, as there is no where to put it. On the plus side, the hotel was well appointed and seemed one-star above what we paid. The location next to a metro station was convenient. The surrounding area had (what seemed like) hundreds of restaurants...providing […] a lot of choice. One note: Akasaka, as we learned, is a business-oriented area, so many of the shops and restaurants close on Saturday and Sunday. Mehr

Room size is small by American standards, but normal for a Tokyo business traveller's hotel. The staff were proficient with English and very helpful with maps, directions, relaying messages/faxes. This is a good hotel in a good area of Tokyo. Close to Akasaka Station and many eating places and temples and shrines. The standard room was clean and had everything you needed however my only gripe was that it was a bit cramped for two people. I understand this is usual in Tokyo. The only other negative (which is minor) is that the Metro Line near […] the hotel does not directly go to major station s like Tokyo (ie. you need to change platforms at one of the other stations). Отель находится в двух шагах от метро Акасака, от Митсуки Акасака в трех минутах ходьбы. Заселение очень быстрое, персонал вежливый и приветливый, по просьбе дают зонтик. Номер маленький, но имеется все необходимое: удобная кровать, стол, шкафчик, щетка для одежды, кресло, чайник, чай, интернет, ГЛаДиЛьНое устройство, ванна с душем, халаты, щетки, бритвенные […] станки. Номер чистый. Уборка отличная. Поблизости небольшой супермаркет, макдональдс, книжный магазин, пирожные. По улице много ресторанчиков и кафешек. Можно пешком добраться до Раппонги. Наше окно выходило на стену соседнего здания, что ограничивало обзор улицы, то есть из окна ничего видно не было. Mehr

仕事で1泊宿泊しました。部屋は広くないですが、ベッド、バスルームは広く清潔でした。雰囲気もよいので気持ちにゆとりができました。

처음가는 일본여행이라 숙소정하기부터 정말 많이 고민했는데..또 도쿄에가서 다시 숙박하고싶은 호텔입니다. 지하철역 출구에서 정말 너무너무 가까워서 좋구요..6번출구에서 1분이나 2분정도...호텔바로근처에 24시간하는 편의점만 3개가 넘습니다. 24시간하는 돈부리집들도 있고..하라주쿠나 오모테산도까지는 갈아타지않고 쉽게갈수있어서 좋았구요~ 직원분들도 너무너무 친절했습니다. 일본은 객실이 작다는 얘길 많이 들었는데 실제로 보니 정말 깜짝놀랐지만 깨끗했고 다행히 욕실은 넓은편이었습니다. 도쿄도 너무너무 좋았고 호텔도 좋았고 곧 다시 도쿄여행을 계획할것같아요~아! 그리고 모르고 갔던사실인데 호텔바로근처에 한국식당들과 슈퍼들이 많아서 […] 깜짝놀랐습니다. 도쿄까지가서 이용할 이유는 없었지만 어쨋든;;; 근처에 한국식당들이 많아서 살짝 여행온 느낌이 안들긴했지만...호텔은 대만족입니다. Приветливый персонал, аккуратный номер, хорошие кафешки, приятный шоппинг. Конечно номер маловат, но все необходимое есть: окно, чтобы осмотреть улицу, хорошая кровать, чистота, стол, интернет, халаты. Приятным сюрпризом оказалось массажное кресло. Разочаровало отсутствие чая. Порадовало наличие сейфа. Номер оформлен в современном стиле. Понравился […] испанский ресторанчик на пятом этаже этого здания. Hôtel confortable (même si les chambres peuvent être considérées petites pour certains) et charmant. Quartier agréable avec un grand nombre de restaurants à proximité (même une crêperie bretonne).
