Regent Beijing - Peking

Wir waren mit zwei Kindern im Regent. Haben ein Executive Zimmer gebucht, mit dem Frühbucherrabatt war der Preis okay. Dadurch konnten wir die Regent Lounge mitnutzen, d.h. Frühstücksbuffet, kleines Abendbuffet mit Drinks, Kaffee und Softdrinks und zwei Computer, mit denen die Kids ihre Freunde in Facebook und SchülerVZ treffen konnten. Durch den freundlichen […] und aufmerksamen Service haben wir uns im Regent wie zu Hause gefühlt. Das Zimmer mit seinem Mix aus Westlich und Chinesisch (die Bilder) hat uns gut gefallen. Was den Wellnessbereich betrifft, so ist der riesige Pool echt klasse, hat aber einen Schwimmhallencharakter. Und im Saunabereich fehlt ein Ruheraum. Die Lage ist gut, was die Laufnähe zur Verbotenen Stadt und die U-Bahnstation (super Alternative zum Taxi) um die Ecke betrifft. Ansonsten gibt es interessantere Ecken in Beijing zum Wohnen. Nett mit Kindern ist neben der Chinesischen Mauer der Beihai Park zum Bootfahren, die Peking-Oper und die lange Rutsche im BadaChu (Tempel in den Westbergen). Mehr

Volle Punktzahl, das Hotel entsprich einen 5 Sterne Hotel (Stand 20011-10) sehr gute Lage sehr gute Ausstattung, U-Bahn Station im Gebäude

We stayed at the executive rooms for 8 nights and it was one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. The hotel staff, especially those at the Regent Club, provided very attentive and personalized service. We would highly recommend upgrading to an executive room. The hotel is very clean and is conveniently located (5mins walk to wangfujing street, […] next door to subway station). The hotel is centrally located in the city and is within walking distances of the shopping belt, eateries and MRT stations. Great for those who love shopping with a hotel nearby for freshening up. Many orderly roadside local snacks to tempt your plattes. Enjoyed the comfortable stay.

Great hotel , great people but price is on the high side.

We really enjoyed this hotel. Right off of line 5 metro station. A great bakery right outside for breakfast every morning. Nice, clean modern rooms. Great value!

Very good location and the hotel staff very helpful !

Me and my wife was ther in 4 night and on the morning of the second day we complain over the heat in the room (16 celsius) then later this day we have to talk to them again and they brought a eletric oven to the room. I thougt this was ok becouse we used this room just over the night but on the last night the oven burned over the electricity in the […] room and we have to pack all our things in the dark and when we checked out they did not even care about this trouble and we have to pay full price for this. I will not recommend this hotel if you are looking for a hotel in Beijing, the prices in the resturant and bars are very high and if somthing happens they dont care. Mehr

spaciously located on the corner block. close to other fine hotels & shopping & tourist's spots. public area & room very clean...a very comfortable hotel in beautiful Beijing. only disappointment is wi-fi only available in lobby level plus not many staff speaks english

We spent 7 nights at this hotel. I can tell you it was first class all the way. Fantastic food at all the restaurants. The rooms are really comfortable and spacious. Fantastic stay. Superb services. Professional and freidnly staff. Subway just around the corner (60 seconds walking distance). Found a wonton restaurant across the street... US$2 gets you a delicous bowl of wonton soup with Chinese herbs. Will stay there again.

This was our first visit to china and picked this hotel based on other reviews. This hotel was located in an excellent location, with all the amenities you could imagine. The service was exceptional, the staff spoke a good level of english, it was impeccably clean at all times and very upscale. We opted for the bigger room with regent club lounge access […] which was worth every penny, having a happy hour eveyday from 6-8 serving drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic) as well as a different menu for hot food and cold desserts everyday including breads/cheeses/salads and fruits. This lounge also had internet access and a relaxing area. The benefit was that the lounge was open 24 hours. Security was excellent, also with a starbucks on the main floor of the building was a great convenience. For anyone travelling to beijing it is a must to stay in this exceptionally luxurious hotel. The staff the service and amenities were all top notch. The have 3 different restaurants within the hotel: I recommend having the tenderloin steak at the bar and grill, it was absolutely amazing. There is also a spa, a gym, a pool, and 24 hour room service. Overall the Regent scores a 5 in every aspect and would say, pay a few extra bucks for a hotel because it was worth it and more Mehr

we had a very nice stay and enjoyed thoroughly. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Only problem for Indian Vegetarian guest is availability of Indian food. If this is addressed then I would stay it would be the best address for Indian to stay in Beijing.

Very nice staff, very helpfull and understanding. the VIP lounge solution for breakfast and afernoon drinks and snacks was a very good deal. very satisfied by this hotel thanks

spent 3 nights during the summer here and was pleased with the hotel. had a very good deal for the service and room offered. Excellent gym. Only the breakfast did not live up to the claim that this is the best breakfast in town - it is average at best. Location is very good and teh concierge was very helpful.

Everything was fantastic! Except that stuff do not speak English good enough, but still, very helpful. p.s. I normally stay at 4-5 stars hotels over the world and this time I was happy that selected Regent!

Nice updated hotel in a good location.

The Regent provides excellent services like free Wi-Fi and a top-notch pool/sauna/gym area. I wasn't overly impressed with the conceirge staff at this 5-star hotel, but I think that's because I had been spoiled by the staff at the Sofitel in Dubai. The Regent is near the major tourist attractions, but this hotel is much more suited for businessmen than […] visitors to China. Still, an overall good place to stay. I was very pleased with my three night stay at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful to arrange some tour opportunities around my work schedule. The hotel is in a good location and the club access is well worth the small extra charge.

My Family of 4 was the 1st time travel to China. I did the extensive research on web before I booked the Regent. The proiorty are clean and safe. This hotel is surprisely big and clean. The staff are polite and patient. We booked a one day tour to Great Wall through the conceige. I asked the staff if there is any place to buy water and drinks at the […] Great Wall, a staff member was so kind and sweet that she immedately prepared 8 bottles water in a bag for me! We stayed at the Execuive Floor that we had access to the lounge. The service and food were excellent! One thing you don't want to miss is the swimming pool---25m x 11m, big and relaxing! Overall, this is a real 5 stars hotel which I really want to go back again! Mehr

The rooms were very nice. The hotel staff was very professional and helpful, especially the concierge. It is located right on the subway line (in the same building as a subway entrance) which makes transportation very convenient.

My Room was very clean, and all the staff were very kind and supportive.

Wonderful service, great location, very helpful staff even though there might be a slight language barrier sometimes. After all it is the guest that should know a few phrases in the language of the country they are visiting. A Starbucks right next door.

The Hotel offered a Room Supplement. It turned out to be a very good deal. Food is very expensive. The supplement offered Breakfast, Cocktail hour and a very nice Buffet.

Very nice hotel with good standard. And the most helpfull staff I ever met at a hotel. They tried to help you with everything you wanted to deal with. Superb. If I go to Beijing again I would defenetive stay at the Regent again.

Excellent hotel, especially for the traveller who wants a fitness facility. The pool and gym areas are top-notch. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our only problem was finding the hotel, since the map attached to the reservation was unclear. Having the hotel's name and address on the reservation in Mandarin would have been better.

Close to shopping district and food. Easy to get a cab. Hotel dining food quality is good. Good neighborhood.

room was very comfortable with interesting local accessories. the staff was very friendly and helpful. for an indoor pool, the swimming pool is stunning and the gym is large. the hotel is right around the corner from the subway which is so convenient for sightseeing and a 10 min walk from Oriental Plaza and night market, etc. the italian restaurant […] and the cafe are both really good. my only complaint at daccapo is i had asked them to bring me a small cake with a candle for my husband's birthday and they brought a slice of cake with no candle. We travel a lot and found this hotel to be a perfect choice for our family vacation. The accommodations were first rate and service staff really made us feel at home. It really helped set the tone for our entire stay in Beijing. Again, amenities, staff, location etc. were all first rate. It was a very seamless and relaxing experience.

Typical high-end 5star hotel. Great breakfast buffet, the rooms with a city view let you see the Forbidden city and are not too noisy.

Hotel is very nice clean and confortable. The personnel needs to learn how to take care of the customers in order for it to be five stars. The service is way behind in taking care of the needs of the guests.

The Regent is a fabulous hotel-with a great location, excellent service, terrific restaurants, and gorgeous accomodations. I would not consider staying anywhere else in Beijing.

I was fairly sure by the description on line that this was a top notch hotel. When we arrived I noticed that half the first floor of the hotel was taken up by the local Rolls Royce showroom. I was impressed. Nuff said!

Although it is a very nice and clean hotel I did find the services it offered to be very overpriced. Breakfast was not included with my hotel booking and therefore had to be paid for separately and at £23 I thought it was too much. I also asked the hotel to book some tours for me and the tours they offered were incredibly expensive. £150 for a tour […] of Beijing seemed too much especially as the subway was 20p to go anywhere. I also asked the concierge to book a train for me to Xi’an and they told me to go to the train station myself and get the tickets which cost me a lot of time and effort. I don’t expect this from a concierge service. Mehr
