Was suppose to be a special weekend get away with the husband paid double the price of other close by hotels due to wanting the king size suite with the garden style tun and four poster bed. Upon arrivale we were "upgrated" to a double queen which we did not want so moved to a basic king neither of which had the garden tub or the 4 poster bed. Awesome hotel, we always love staying at Homewood!! Only complaint we had this time is we got a studio instead of a suite, and they place the large HDTV and DVD player in the middle on a swivel stand...the problem is the cable from the DVD player to the TV is not long enough to actually turn the TV to face you, and you cannot use the DVD remote from […] the bed or couch because it's facing the kitchen. Beautiful hotel with quiet rooms, lovely lobby for breakfast, and comfortable beds. My problem is I'm allergic to down. The staff removed the offending bedding. The thing is, the down dander is still all over the place and i feel like crap on most trips. Hilton and other leading chains need to have feather free rooms available just as they do accessible […] rooms. Rooms that never had down in them. Maybe an extra air cleaner would be possible. Otherwise, if you don't have this issue, stay at this hotel. It was great. Oh...pool needs to be heated a few more degrees...everyone was huddled in the hot tub. Mehr

Very comfortable room and bed. Staff was friendly but we had to call down twice to have a crib delivered and then they did not have any sheets for the crib. Hot tub water was cold and the pool water was freezing! The breakfast was very well kept and exceeded expectations.

Stayed on X-mas eve and all was great the breakfast in the morning was fantastic and the service was very friendly and just like family

For the past 5 years we have stayed with Homewood for the Christmas holiday. This year we found that the coffee machine others were turned off except at breakfast. Also, I discovered $100 was deducted from my account for incedentals, which there were none. This has never been done before. It took 4 days for the money to be returned. We stayed here on our way to Dallas from Colorado. The first time I talked to them I requested to move my non-refundable, fixed-date reservation, as we were driving in a snowstorm and might not leave that night. They were nice enough to give us the option of either nights! The room was clean and the hotel was quiet and comfortable.

Beautiful property, still, somethings were lacking, bugs in bathroom, peeling wallpaper, one room phone didn't work, nice suite, but for the $, would have expected more of a polished effort by this hotel. Overall, nice place, and good location.

Every employee knew my name and helped in any way. The beds were very comfortable. Loved the area! I will be back again!

The lady at the front desk was amazing, I was a bride to be staying at the hotel with my 6 bridesmaids the night before the wedding, she was amazing and went above and beyond what is required of a desk clerk. Great location, fine hotel but an extraordinary staff from the front desk to the housekeepers! I wouldn't consider staying anyplace else in Wichita!

My wife and are very paricular when it comes to hotel cleanliness and service. This hotel was fantastic in both areas. The front desk service was great. When I called and asked for something it was supplied quickly and with a smile. The food and drink in the evening was fantastic. Nice outside views and walking areas.

I can't believe this isn't a five star hotel! What a beautiful place with beautiful grounds, very friendly and helpful staff and some very good places to eat within walking distance. I wish we could have stayed a week! I'll have to find an excuse to return to Wichita just so we can stay again. Thank you so much!!

My whole family was impressed by the genuine service, friendliness, wonderful buffet, and room quality. The staff is number 1 there! They don't hold it against you that you use one of the "saving" sites to book them. You get all the amenities-plus more- for a great fair rate. It was like a nice little community with all the surrounding shops and restaurants. […] We were definitely feeling spoiled and we will be using Homewood every time we come back to Wichita!! Beautiful rooms, great breakfast. Very upscale building and location. Had a wonderful stay. Very reasonable rate for the quality of the suite.

I was very, very pleased with my stay at Homewood Suites @ The Waterfront! Everyone was pleasant and most helpful, my room was very nice and essentially just what I expected. Since my stay was during the holiday season, the hotel was decorated beautifully, and of course, the breakfast was delicious. From the moment I stepped up to the front desk, I knew that this hotel stay would be different. Not only was the property located at a beautiful setting, the property was meticulously maintained. The staff was unbelievably friendly, courteous, and helpful. The breakfast was satisfying and the staff didn't even flinch when my son dropped his plate of […] waffles and whipped cream on his chair and the carpeted floor. They cleaned up the dreadful mess with a cheerful smile. The suite was spacious, even for our four kids and us, and allowed us a chance to relax after a long drive and enjoy complimentary DVD's. The kitchenette was a nice amenity too giving us a break from restaurant food. I have stayed at many, many different hotels throughout the years and this is the first POSITIVE review I have ever written. I can't rave enough about the staff. You could tell how proud and happy they were to be employed by one of the best hotels around. I hope my travels bring me through Wichita again so I can return to the Homewood Suites by Hilton at The Waterfront. Mehr

It was our honeymoon, we had the best time ever...we decided to return every year on our anniversary...it felt like home and we got a congratulations card also which was nice and unexpected from a hotel.

The hotel was quiet, nice and clean and had great amenities with a basketball court, running trail with access to a city bike path, putting green, indoor pool, fittness center, nice patio, dinner M-T, and a great full breakfast.. We really lucked out finding this hotel.

My husband and I stayed here on the first leg of our honeymoon. We were very, very pleased : ). We got a suit with the kitchen attachment. I loved that we were able to use the dishes and that they ran them in the dishwasher while we were out. Breakfast was GREAT too. I would GLADLY go back!

Staff very friendly, hotel and room very clean and comfortable. Bed which is our #1 issue most times was very comfortable. Great place to stay. Will definately use again when in Wichita.
