The log-cabin motif was done well- I absolutely did start to relax on my business trip as soon as I walked in the vaulted log lobby. Decaf and Regular coffee were brewing next to the player piano, and the hotel desk staff were calm and friendly. Breakfast was all preserved or packaged- no vegetables or fruit- but the comfort touches every where else […] made this a very enjoyable, even refreshing, business trip hotel for me. Mehr

beautiful hotel, a little noisy with construction across the street early in morning.

I was pleasently suprised at how clean and nicely kept the hotel was. It was easily in walking distance of the concert venue we were visiting and there were many restaurants close by.

The Stony Creek is the perfect place to stay if you have business in downtown Moline, IL or Rock Island Arsenal. Restaurants and bars are all within walking distance. Parking is free. WiFi works well. Breakfast is fine. Room is clean. It all makes for a pleasant stay. I was comfortable. Made for an uneventful business trip.

Had to come to this hotel for a work thing for my husband so we didnt bring the kids but when we go back next year I will be bringing the kids. The pool looked really fun and the entire hotel is so cute and set up for a family

Got 2 rooms... for new years. Booked 2 rooms with upgrade, Microwave & sofa, etc. Arrived had only King regular rooms. Asked for upgrade and they did upgrade ONE room as requested With free drinks at bar. Went to Illinois casino, etc. Good time. Noisy for New Years, what can U expect. would stay again... For the most part, we were satisfied with our stay at Stoney Creek. The staff was friendly & helpful, and we had a comfortable stay. We were disappointed that our room looked out on a construction site. Once the construction is finished, however, it will be quite a nice view. We were disappointed with the breakfast selections. The hotel is overpriced for what you get. The rooms try too hard to be "lodge" like. They are clean rooms, but very noisy, we could hear everyone that came down the hall, we even heard hair dryers in the morning.

The staff was very friendly and the room was wonderful. We stayed here after our wedding and was very satisfied. Breakfast was awesome!!

We were visiting Moline for a gymnastics/ice skating/pop singer extravaganza being held at the I Wireless Center. The hotel was very conveniently located only a couple of short blocks away. It looks like Moline is in the middle of renovating this part of town with up scale stores, museums, and restaurants. Thus, before the concert we had a fantastic […] meal at Johnny's Italian Steakhouse and we had a fun time browsing in some of the shops. The hotel itself is very nice. We had a fairly large room with two very comfortable and clean queen beds. On the other hand, the bathroom was slightly smaller than some I have been in, but was certainly still enough room to be functional. The hotel was also nice and quiet at night. We left before they served their continental breakfast in the morning, so I can't comment on that. Also, the hotel sported a neat Western decor. I would not want it in my own house, but it was fun to be in that atmosphere for the night. Mehr

Great room, good food in the morning.

I went to the quad cities from Chicago to ride the River bike path. I arrived around noon and was going to ride and then check in, but since my room was ready, they let me check in! What a concept! The staff was helpful and courteous. The breakfast was really sufficient, although a huge lacrosse tournament was in town staying there, so it was kind of […] a mad-house. But, they kept the breakfast bar well stocked. All in all, I was very impressed with this brand new (still some construction near entrance) hotel. Mehr

I was very happy with all the extras at the hotel we even had friends from the quad cities come to have a drink with us outside on the screened in porch. I will be booking yhis hotel for the Bix 2012. Thank you

Cigarette butts littered the entrance area. The hotel had no views, construction all around the hotel. Our view was the roof of the adjoining small indoor/outdoor pool. Towels at the pool and exercise areas were not replaced in a timely manner. Our first 2 nights of a 3 night stay were without power due to lightening. This may be an act of Mother Nature, […] but no generator?!?!?! We were offered a dim glow stick. No power meant to A/C during the midwest heatwave - 95 degrees and 215% humidity!! No offers from the hotel for guest inconvience. When asked we were told it would be on an individual basis. Never going back to this hotel. Mehr

Great location, hotel staff very friendly - elevator very slow! found it was quicker to walk up to the 4th floor than wait for the elevator.

Had a great stay. My daughter loved the indoor/outdoor pool. Pool ran out of towels early Saturday night and had to request more. They were really quick to bring more. Definitely will go back if I had the chance.

It's cute with the back-country theme. Rooms were clean and staff was nice.

So convenient that you can walk to the I Wireless Center and forget the traffic jams.

The Stoney Creek Inn is a great place to stay and I have stayed there numerous times. It's located in downtown Moline, just a few blocks from the I-Wireless Center. It is very well maintained and the rooms are very clean and really cute with a Northwoods theme. Don't know why it only has a 2 star rating.

We have stayed at this hotel for the past 3 years we attend concerts at the I wireless which is steps away..very convenient!!! The hotel is beautiful inside and very clean!! Staff is great!!

Got to give it a good rating. Maybe caught a loud crowd staying same night. Rooms aren't very soundproof. Still, would stay again.

Very nice hotel. Plan to return in the future with family and grandchildren Pool area was nice.Has a laundry room,very nice gym area.Very clean and staff was very pleasant..

I was in town to see my daughter. She had some friends over to spend the night as well. We had a blast in the pool! It was clean and the staff was very patient with the girls (11), and helped them when needed. I will be back to stay in this hotel. I fly into Moline several times a year, and this will be my choice!

The staff and the hotel were great. The only disappointment was there wasn't a fridge or microwave in our room. We were visiting family for a week and it would have been nice to be able to store food that we had bought.

Hotel was nice but the people staying there were not! There was a kids' dance competition group (called DDP) staying there at the same time we were. We were in Moline for a girl's youth group event so we are accustomed to being around teenagers. We teach our kids manners and how to act in public. It seems the kids in the room above us needed to practice […] their routines all night! The ceiling above us was shaking. Literally shaking. ALL NIGHT. You could hear the coffeemaker shake. I think it settled down around 4 am. The parents were drinking and cursing while their kids ran around like little monsters. They blocked hallways and even stood in front of our room door! We had to push our way through to get into our own room. It wasn't a handful of people either - they took up at least 1/3 of the hotel. It was ridiculous. I had to drive over 2 hours to get home with a couple scattered hours of sleep! We called the front desk to complain around midnight but nothing was done about it. At check out, we were given an upgrade if we came back sometime in the next 3 months. Like I'm going to be in Moline anytime in the next 3 months! Otherwise, the hotel ambience was very nice and the staff was somewhat helpful. The location was very close to where we were going. But note that there is very little near the hotel, the roads really need to be maintained, and the neighborhood was a little trashy (otherwise I would have taken a pillow and blanket down to the car to sleep!). But for the money I paid, I was expecting to at least be able to sleep. Mehr

we had a great experience at Stoney Creek. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the room and hotel was clean and pleasant. the atmosphere was rustic. We had a great stay!

I enjoyed the hotel. We got there in the middle of a blizzard and I think they could of plowed the sidewalks a little better but it wasn't too bad, especially with as much snow as there was. Breakfast was good and had a lot of variety.

My husband and I picked this hotel because it was within walking distance of the Avenged Sevenfold concert we were attending. We knew the "Blizzard of 2011" was approaching, so we chose to leave at 9:30am on Feb 1st, to beat it out. We arrived before 11am and without expecting our room to be open, we were very happy that they said "no problem, your […] room is ready." Every employee we came across at the front desk, the breakfast room, the bar/restaurant was very nice...and and very helpful. I didn't plan on going to the pool or hot tub, but after we extended our stay an extra night, because of the blizzard I decided to give it a whirl. It was a very nice facility. Our stay was great...and we'd recommend it to anyone. Mehr

My wife & I were very happy with the hotel! Everything was as advertised, the staff was great and the rooms were very clean. We stayed there to attend the Jason Aldean concert at the iWireless Center, which was a short walk from the hotel, so it all worked out perfectly!

Location was good, staff super-friendly. The place was clean and well maintained. After a while, the whole North Woods thing was getting to be a bit much.

Nice hotel with pleasing lobby decor. A see-through fireplace separates the check-in area from a sitting area furnished with large leather furniture. Comfortable area to read the available newspapers and sip coffee from the breakfast area (we were able to get coffee and creamer late in the evening). Our room was in good shape but I gave the condition […] a "4" because the toilet would run occasionally. I gave the comfort of the room a "4" because the pillows were too flat and uncomfortable for my liking. I was wishing I would have brought my own pillow. The bathroom was small but clean. Our room had a nice large counter area in addition to the large desk. Breakfast had a nice selection, but no hot items available. Overall, we were very satisfied. Mehr
