We visit the Canton area on an average of 2 - 3 times per year and have stayed at this specific hotel each time since its opening in 2005/2006. It is convenient to where we need to go and easily accessible to the freeway and airport. Our last visit over the New Year holiday resulted in a multitude of some pretty serious problems. We found out after […] the event that Hilton had updated their electronic door key system on New Years Eve, but FAILED to provide its staff with this information that included the computer pass codes to solve any problem that resulted in the upgrade. We arrived at the hotel at approximatelyb 10:30 p.m. to discover we couldn't access our room. The night manager, using the "emergency entrance card" could not access our room, or any other room at the hotel. It turned out that all guests arriving after 10 pm on New Years Eve was unable to access their room, including those guests with young children. This problem was not resolved until after 3 am. I will also add that this hotel was fully booked. It was indeed fortunate that we were able to stay with a family member that night. On New Years Day evening we returned to our room to find the television did not work. Two rooms were checked by the staff in order to locate a room with a working television that we could be moved to. This resulted in having to pack up our stuff and move rooms following the catastrophy we experienced the night before. We found out later that Hilton had upgraded all of the televisions in the hotel to HD and hired an vendor to perform this work. No one at Hilton inspected the vendor's work, or the working capability of the televisions prior to settling guests in the rooms. On the third night of our stay the heating system woke us up at approximately 4:30 a.m. to what I would describe as sounds similar to a semi truck that just pulled into the room and was reving its engine! Checked in at 2:30 am after flight delay. Personnel were so considerate. White bed linens so fresh. Towels so clean and fresh smelling, not perfume-ish. Quiet. Beds so comfortable. Room immaculate. Would stay again.

I came in late at night and must have looked as tired as I felt. The hotel staff not only recognized that I quickly needed a room and sustenance, but immediately found a phone charger when I mentioned I had forgotten it. I felt well cared for, unexpectedly. The next morning the waitress noticed I wasn't taking the full buffet, just cereal, and reduced […] my bill. And the room itself was lovely. Couldn't have been closer to the airport for a weary business traveler. The rest of my stary was just as good. Mehr

Check in was easy and quick. Our room was very clean. Our only suggestion would be that they change their bed pillows. Not that comfortable, but everything else was great! We are looking forward to going back next year.

A great place to stay!

This hotel is so convenient if you are flying out of Akron/ Canton Airport...it is right across the street.. We got there in the evening and had dinner at the restaurant right in the hotel and everything was great. Also the shuttle took us right to the door of the airport and the driver was very nice and friendly...he also picked us when we got back […] and was there within 5 minutes to get us and take us back to our car. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who needs a nice place to stay. Mehr

Friendly, convenient, comfortable.

Hotel and accommodations are great. The only reason that I gave the hotel a 4 on the location and surrounding neighborhood is because within walking distance there really is no restaurant or entertainment. However, the ease of highway access and great dining and entertainment within 2 to 3 exits is just fine. I would stay in this hotel again.

Hotel beautiful, friendly staff. Free airport shuttle doesn't mean free airport parking. This is misleading on website. There is additional charge for parking.

We were in the area for the Soap Box Derby. It was within convenient driving distance to the track and the campground where other family members were staying. It is very close to the Canton Airport and the Interstate. I was at first concerned that it might be very noisy because of this proximity - but was quite surprised once inside that there was absolutely […] no noise from either. If you are looking for a hotel that is within walking distance to restaurants or shopping, this is not the place for you. But there are areas within one Interstate exit either direction that will fit the bill. This was not a concern for us since we shared meals with family at the nearby campground and spent most of our time there or at the Derby. Mehr

Was promised a no smoking room, but was rudely told by the desk clerk that non smoking rooms were not guaranteed just that I would have a room. The room reeked and so did our clothes after we left. Later saw another customer cancel their room and walk out in anger. Need a little training in customer service!

Front desk staff and restaurant staff extremely polite and friendly Room very clean except for the bathroom counter and sink which were dirty - contained pile of dirt and toothpaste etc. Very disappointing for any hotel and particularly a Hilton garden inn Front desk took actions to have the room cleaned but this should not have been declared fit for […] use on it's prior condition Mehr

The room was clean and comfortable, though I had minor issue with a finnicky AC unit. The staff were very friendly. The in house restaurant was wonderful. Definitely helped provide for a wonderful weekend.

The Hilton has always been a clean and comfortable place to stay. This one included that as well as great service. They greeted you wonderfully, whether they were a manager or a janitor cleaning the pool area. very easy stay and very quiet for being right next to the highway and airport.

I've loved this hotel since our first visit! It has easy access from Rt 77, is centrally located to all of our family and friends, and while somewhat isolated from other businesses, this removes the congestion of traffic making the hotel even more attractive! Only a couple of minutes from Jackson Township, where there is great restaurants and shopping […] of all kinds. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful, ready to assist in any way possible. The pool/hot tube and workout room are very nice and clean. I think one of the best things about this hotel is that the rooms are very quiet. You cannot hear the goings on in the adjacent rooms, or at least we cannot. This is an excellent hotel with an excellent price from hotels.com! We stayed here for our anniversary. It was wonderful, the only thing was the pool was a little cold and the fitness room was closed.

at first i though it would be too far out from akron,however the extra five minute drive was more than worth it. the kitchen and bar were small but had exclllent food ,drinks and hospitality. if i'm ever in the akron area, i will definatly make this my first choice.

The hotel was very clean and the design was pretty. We loved the buffet breakfast in the morning. The staff was great with directions. Over all we had a great stay.

Enjoyed the stay while we were there for a baseball tournament. Very clean, comforable beds and nice staff. Should honestly offer come type of continental breakfast. Will stay there again next year if we return for another tourney.

I read the reviews on this property, and thought they were too good to believe. But they lived up to them all. We checked in and mentioned we were there for a family funeral and would have another person with us for two nights. When we returned, there was a welcome note, expressing sorrow for our loss, with popcorn and candy in a basket! I used the […] breakfast room as an office every morning and the staff was amazing. Hotel is fine, convenient to CAK airport. Unfortunalely, it took almost 39 min for the shuttle to pick up at baggage claim, after I was told it would be 10 minutes.

I got all the way to a meeting quite a distance away from the hotel and left something in my room. The staff checked for me and found it....and the staff helped by giving it to a courier service that I had arranged. They saved my life!

This hotel is located by an airport... which is nice if you are flying... However, there is no life in the area. We traveled over 10 minutes to find a gas station and then woke in the morning to find a $10 a person buffet???? I was not pleased about that. The hotel staff is execellent... very friendly and helpful, to say the least. Very clean too. […] I just felt like I was forced to eat there if I was hungry due to the location... some would not have a choice :( Mehr

good hotel staff - got me to the airport very early in the morning - only complaint is that the hallways and outdoors smelled - apparently they just laid down some very reboust mulch - whew

Hotel staff was very pleasant, helpful, and every one wanted to please the guests. The room price was very reasonable. Room was large and comfortable. No problems with internet connection. Breakfast was good with a big selection. Hotel is conveinent to airport with 24 hour shuttle. Would recommend the hotel to anyone.

I loved it!

We stayed one night with kids while traveling. Hotel stands alone but is one exit from food and shopping. They met every request-- we asked for extra pillows and they brought four! You can walk to the front door of the airport but I never heard a plane. We would stay again.

This was a very clean and comfortable hotel, close to everything that I needed! The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was excellent! My only complaint is that I could hear the highway as though my window were wide open. The staff was able to get me a fan that masked the noise....Great job Hilton!

Very nice hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast buffet,minimal cost. Close to freeway and many Canton area attractions.
