Ein günstiges Hotel in zentraler Lage. Mit der Sauberkeit und dem Service des Hotels/ Zimmer waren wir sehr zufrieden. Die Hotelausstattung war gut. Wir würden das Hotel weiterempfehlen.

Die Mtiarbeiter im Hostel sind sehr nett und die Zimmer sind soweit auch okay. Die Bettwäsche schien sauber, wenn auch abgenutzt. Die Waschräume waren nicht immer geputzt, besonders die Böden in der Dusche waren oft gewöhnungsbedürftig. Alles in Allem kann man aber im Maze übernachten.

Service, Frühstücksbüffet und Lage waren ausgezeichnet. Zimmer etwas abgewohnt aber mit guten Matratzen und traumhaften Blick auf Darling Harbour!

Nettes und sehr hilfsbereites Personal am Empfang. Zimmer etwas klein, aber ausreichend. Frühstück übersichtlich aber für ein paar Tage o.k. Vom Hotel aus alles sehr gut zu Fuß zu erreichen bzw. fahren die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel in der Nähe ab (Bus zum Bondi Beach, Bahn zum Flughafen). Die Gemeinschaftstoiletten und -duschen waren sauber und ausreichend vorhanden. Wer genau liest, was er bucht (Basicfrühstück, Gemeinschaftsbad) wird zufrieden sein.

"Meriton Kent Street - close to Darling Harbour"
My wife and I spent a week in a one bed sky view apartment in March. The accomodation lived up to our expectations. Location is excellent with the central CBD and Darling Harbour only a 10 minute walk. Buses and the monorail are only 2 minutes away. The hotel is alright but i was delayed on check in. It's funny because me and my friends were planning to surprise my for her birthday and prior to that I emailed them and said if it's possible to check in earlier than 2 and they told me to just ring on the day I'm checking to cheek if I can. I rand 11 am on that day and they said to me that that they […] will put special request to clean our room but when I went to check in around 1 pm they said the room is not yet ready. So, I came back around 2pm (it's the time for check in usually), but guess what the room is still not ready!!!!...I was like what kind of service they have?..they still asked me to wait so they can clean it. So at the end we just had our decoration Half done in the room...we also used flowers petals in the room , after we check out they told us that it stained their carpet but by cleaning it the stained came off but guess what they charge us because they have to clean it?..I was like gosh so does that means when people check out in the room they don't usually shampoo the carpet?..they charge us $100 for it even the stain came off!!.. We booked a 1 bed sky view apartment for 5 nights &initially were given a studio. When we checked however we were immediately moved. We have absolutely no complaints. The apartment on floor 46 was clean, well set up, roomy, very comfortable & well serviced. Nice balcony for breakfast with 180* views from Darling Harbour to Botany Bay. Only slight problem […] was its distance from the centre of city & the Quay where we travelled to a few times, but with the $2.50 seniors transport concession & the underground only 2 blocks away, this was nothing major. A good choice from all points of view: central, well-designed and appointed, cheerful and helpful staff, both at Reception and in the hotel in general, impeccably clean and spotless. The only minimal issue is that the street signage is a little obscure.... I will certainly return!

The stay at Merton on Kent was great. Very convenient location and the room was clean, spacious and modern. It would have been better if the room entrance door can make less sound. The door and the neigbouring door makes loud and irritating sound when it opens and closes. Worse, my neighbour was opening and closing the door every other minutes from […] 2 am to 5 am. I was very impressed with the reception, room (which was on the 54th floor), the bed, pillows and apartment in general. I certainly wasn't expecting what I received and I will be telling others of my experience. I will most definitely be staying with Meriton from now on.

We rented a one-bedroom suite for a week. The hotel is very convenient to downtown and transportation, with a large mall including a grocery store just a block away. Staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The bed was comfortable, and there was daily maid service. "Meriton in Kent Street Sydney - convenient, clean"
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Meriton in Kent Street. Close to all amenities and Darling Harbour with Town Hall station , convenience stores and the fabulous Queen Victoria Building nice and close. We will be coming back to this modern and friendly establishment next time we visit Sydney.

Exelent position to what we wanted to do in Sydney. we were early for our room and being able to store our luggage was great so we could fit more of Sydney in to the time we had. Staff were very friendly and courtious.

We loved the hotel, location, cleanliness and services were without fault. The only small complaint is the beds are very uncomfortable and the king size bed (being made from 2 singles) kept coming apart.

"Absolutely lovely"
fantastic location - right on George street, near World Square and China town. Large, well-equipped apartment, great bathtub and a good gym. Lap pool is amazing. Would stay again.

"spacious rooms in cbd"
spacious clean and modern rooms in the "night life" area of the cbd....having a full kitchen is also quite handy.There is an issue with the lifts at peak times,(long waiting times) but that was the only real problem.
