AC Hotel Firenze by Marriott - Florenz

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und haben alles vorgefunden oder sogar mehr wie Getränke im Kühlschrank gratis usw. - Danke! Aber was wir vermisst haben sind Kleenex (Wegwerftaschentücher) im Bad. Ist nur eine Kleinigkeit aber wenn man sich schminken will ist es praktisch solche zur Hand zu haben. Wir kommen wieder!

Dieses Hotel kann man nur weiterempfehlen. Freundliches Personal, tolle Zimmer und erst noch sauber. Nahe vom Bahnhof, leider etwas weiter weg vom Zentrum (zu Fuss ca. 15min.). Auf jeden Fall eine tolle Adresse die ich jederzeit wieder buchen würde!

...von daher gibt es wesentlich bessere Standorte und der Frühstücksraum ist viel zu klein, man muss Schlange stehen um frühstücken zu können. Sehr ungemütlich! Das ist aber das einzig Negative. Sonst sehr sauber und für Ausflüge in die Umgebung, da ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden und nicht weit zu den Autobahnauffahrten, geeignet. Für einen Urlaub […] oder Businesstermin der in der Innenstadt statt finden soll, gibt es viele Hotels aller Kategorien, die zentraler liegen. Fahrten mit den ÖV fanden wir nicht selbsterklärend, keine Karten oder Schalter vor Ort, schwierig sich zurecht zu finden. Nichts in Englisch alles auf italienisch. Mehr

Nice modern hotel, room a bit on the small side. No movies or tv in English. Room floors are laminate instead of carpet so as a result, it is very noisy when people in other rooms come in late wearing heels. Also, room doors slam especially loud.

This modern hotel was just what we needed to fully relax while traveling throughout Italy and staying at a variety o different hotels and B and B's. Our room was large, comfortable and the bathroom was excellent. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. We had a rental car and the on site parking was perfect and they never even ended up charging us […] for the parking even tho they quoted 17 euros a day. In the bar they had free yummy appetizers that we were able to make a meal out of and the breakfast was the best that we had while traveling. I would highly recommend this hotel. Don't be turned off that it isn't in the city center, it is a very easy walk to and from. Mehr

The hotel was very modern and nice. However, we could not get air conditioning in our room because the hotel already switched over to heat (in October). Unfortunately, even in October, it was VERY warm in our room. The staff was very nice, but they couldn't make the room cooler. (even with the windows open). No free wi-fi. Awesome hotel with very clean rooms and windows that open. Breakfast was very good and great that it was included with the room. Good choices with fresh fruits, breads, cereals, pastries, and scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage. At first finding the hotel was a pain but once you get your bearing and find the street cars a few blocks away travelling around […] was a cinch. Take the T1 street car to the main train station and from there you're blocks away from the sights. Front desk was very helpful and nice. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again. I would suggest searching the hotel on a map service that shows actual pictures of the area to help find the hotel. This hotel was a diamond find. It has great staff, great layout and rooms and a wonderful roof terrace with some comfy chairs to enjoy the city by. It was great to receive free drinks in the room, especially as it was so hot and we seemed to continuously be drinking. This hotel gives us a relief when you are getting a bit tired to keep staying typical old style hotels in Italy. It gives you a nice and clean moderness of accomodation. This hotel is located in the area which has a bit distace from sightseeing spots. However, the tram access is very good.

Lovely modern hotel. Location is a bit away from the centre of Florence but easily accessible by public transport. Rooms were very clean and comfortable and all modern facilities available.

Don't stay here. Staff are unhelpful and snobbish. Location is sketchy and NOT at all close to city center.

Amazing hotel. The hotel is very modern, well-kept and great breakfast. We were traveling on vacation, and though the location isn't in the heart of downtown, it is right next to a bus and tram stop, so it is easy to get around. If you wanted to walk to the Duomo, it is only about 5-10 minutes, which is nothing. Bad things sometimes happen...Pick-pockets stole our wallets on a bus in Florence. Without the help and support of several staff members at the Hotel Firenze, I truly don't know what we would have done. All turned out to be very good.The location was a little off the main areas of interest but that little inconvenience can be tolerated.The staff was good.The taxi service was good.

My daughter and I stayed here for a night and it was a really good experience. Warm, cozy, comfortable and the staff is very obliging. Helped us buy tickets for a dinner an music performance, got us a limo to the airport, and the breakfast was really really good. Great service. I would recommend this to everyone. And, I would go there again!

Nice hotel with really good food and service. They only suggestion I have for the hotel is to clean the closets, they were filled with dust. They have a taxi stand and train station by the hotel and close to a lot.

Everything was awesome. It wasn't that far from the city centre, just a tad confusing to get to at first... We biked around so it was great and in a nice uncluttered spot. No free wifi was a minus but breakfast was great, as well as the free mini bar... Stunning bathroom...Was a nice modern escape from the rest of our typical hotels...

Very clean and modern. Breakfast is good and includes hot dishes like eggs, bacon and sausages.

Me and my wife stayed for 2 nights. Once we got to Florence to the hotel area there was nothing interesting around there but when you go to the centre will find such beautiful city. The location is a little for from the tourist attractions but as the weather was really nice we walk which took about 40 minutes to get to the centre. This hotel is clean and very comfortable. The only drawback is the location. Also, the internet which they charge you for is terrible.

Nice hotel but not conveniently located in relation to the popular places to see in Firenze. It is a long walk (30 min). This is not too bad if you do it once but if you stay 3 or 4 days and you do it every day it becomes a problem. Not convenient bus or tram route. This hotel is wonderfully modern in decor and amenities - quite a change from the average Italian hotel. Large, modern, clean lines, large room. Free mini bar restocked everyday with non-alcoholic beverages. Large free breakfast buffet, unheard of in italy. Reasonably priced for what you're getting. The only downside is that it is about a 15min walk […] to the city centre, which was not a big issue but you won't be able to literally step outside and be around the main sights of florence. In addition, the front desk forgot their wake up call that I had requested, and did apologize twice for it. I would stay here again because it's a modern, american style oasis in a cramped, inefficient country, and becasue the free breakfast is giant and offers the usual italian and american style breakfast food, which is convenient and means you just have to pay for a quick small lunch when you're sightseeing. Situated near to Florence train station, it is within walking distance (without baggage ) but sufficiently out of city area such that it is a quiet residential area. Very new & modern & inexpensive & good value for money.

We recently stayed for two nights at AC Firenze hotel. Overall, very much enjoyed the hotel. Rooms were modern with comfortable beds. The free mini-bar in the room was a nice perk. We arrived early and were able to get our room immediately, which was a bonus. The breakfast spread was quite extensive, with lots of nice pastries, meats, cheases, and even […] some hot dishes. Really the only challenge was the location. It's about a 20 minute walk to the city center, which isn't that long, but doesn't make it convenient to stop back at the hotel to drop of packages, grab a beverage, etc. There were supposed to be some pubic transit options, but the busses didn't run after 8 PM. I wouldn't let this stop me from staying at the hotel, but definitely something to be aware of. Mehr

We enjoyed our evening at the hotel. Very clean and modern hotel. Room was small but well put together. Did not enjoy the neighborhood. Although it was close to amenities. Felt unsafe at night. No free wifi Staff was kind enough to let me watch hockey at 2am and provided free breakfast. Would stay again and recommend. 4 out of 5

If you stay at this hotel, note that you will have to access the train station & Firenze central via a tram. The location is away from most sightseeing locations and near a new construction project that works around the clock. The room decor & design is exceptional, but the additional charge for internet access ($17 euro per 24 hours) should be figured […] into your stay. Breakfast is not included in your room sate and is a poor attempt at a "Big American Breakfast" at 17 euro per plate. Mehr

The stay was good but internet service is a rip off. It is $37.00 for 24 hours.

I spent two weeks in France and Italy, stayed in 5 different hotels. This was by far the best one despite it being the least expensive. Being the best one had little to do with the price, though. Even if it would have been the most expensive, it would still have been my favorite. Very nice hotel, but way out of the way from everything. About 10 Euro from the train station for a taxi. If you don't mind walking then it isn't bad. Great breakfast. Very modern and clean.

I really enjoyed this hotel. Modern and clean, I thought it was a great value. Appreciated the free sodas in the mini-bar. The breakfast was excellent.

I LOVED this hotel! It was nice, and comfortable, and what I expect from a true 4 star hotel. AND as a bonus, a free mini-bar! We aren't drinkers, so we didn't care that there was only sodas, juice and water! A wonderful surprise when you're used to paying for EVERYTHING you touch in a hotel! :) Gorgeous rooms, very very comfortable beds, the only downside […] was I was warm, and the air-conditioning will only kick on at a certain temp, so I was sweating a bit during the night... but overall, a wonderful experience. This hotel is a great bargain. It's modern and clean. The included breakfast is very good. It's a short walk from Florence's main train station. And also close to the city's famous Duomo. The hotel is at the edge of the main tourist areas, at the beginning of a residential neighborhood, but everything is within walking distance. Nice rooms with garage parking. Free mini bar but only about 5 soft drinks in there. Attractions are close enough to walk to if you are willing to walk 1-2 miles, otherwise not quite close enough. The restaurant "I Templari" one street over is a must. Breakfast was good and free.

Nice hotel with modern styling. Similar to an aloft hotel. The front desk staff was very couteous and helpful. Check in took all of 30 seconds as did check out. The room was great. The bed was comfortable with fluffy pillows. Not the pancake pillows we ran into alot accross Italy. The bathroom was very spacious and the hotel offered alot of complimentary […] toiletry items razors etc. The mini bar was complimentary (there wasnt any alchol) but it had juices, waters, and sodas. We found this a nice treat. Breakfast was included and in my opinion very good. Assorted cheeses, sliced meats, jams, spreads, yogurts, cereals,breads, pastries etc. There was alot of variety. The breakfast room was very large and open. The hotel is 15 minutes walking distance to the main train station and Santa Maria Novella. We never walked this because it was quite cold while we were there. However, 1 block from the hotel is a tram stop. From there you only have to ride one stop and you will be at the Santa Maria Novella/Train Station in 2-3 minutes. The fare was 1.30 euro each way if i remember correctly, so we just used the tram. From the station it was a short walk to all the major actractions. The hotel gave us a map of the city and was great at suggesting restaurants. We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff was great and the food was great. The building was in a great location and only steps from everything. The hotel was gorgeous and well taken care of and anytime we needed anything the staff was welcome and willing to help. The roof access was also great, you could see the entire city from there. The hotel, the rooms, lobby - all are modern and sleek. The room size was by far the largest and most comfortable I've stayed in Europe. Breakfast was great. If you like clean and modern, this is the hotel for you. We were traveling with another couple for two weeks and this was our favorite hotel. The staff was great, the rooms clean and the bathroom one of the best I have seen in Europe for a four star hotel. The linens were clean and new and the bed very comfortable for the typical hard European beds. […] The parking was free and under the hotel so it was very safe and convenient. The breakfast was great and the water and soda free in the room! The hotel is located within a 20 minute walk to the city center but we took a taxi for only 10 - 12 euro each way which was very convenient and easy to do. I would definitely stay here again! Mehr
