Crotched Mountain Resort - Francestown

I booked this on line as it was close to the college, where my son and I were going to visit. We had no idea it was a golf resort in the mountains. Wow, it was beautiful. This was so much more than we expexcted for the price. The condo was so roomy, clean and comfortable. The food is very good. We took a walk along the trail in the morning to take in […] the scenery. Very comfortable mountain resort.

Perfect place for a large family to stay if you want to ski Crotched Mountain. The hot tub was great for the kids and the kitchen allowed us to save some money and do a meal in. Would definitely consider staying here again

All around great resort! With all the amenities you need inside to cook any meal, just enough space to lounge about in a home away from home, and more than the luxury you need to feel spoiled with the fireplace and (private) hot tub on the deck (though the deck is shared with the adjacent room, so they'll definitely spot you if you skimp on the bikini)! […] To top it off, the customer service was phenomenal - Cheryl and Jen - at the front desk really made it a magical stay. Some points/tips: -bring own duralog (but they also have some at the front desk) for the fireplace -they have a library of dvds you can check out to watch in the convenience of your room -buy groceries first if you plan on cooking as it's a far drive to a market -check out the common room, where you can play pool, foosball, pingpong, videogames, and enjoy hot chocolate on the house! -restaurant on site (but we didn't check it out, so can't comment) -only <10 minute drive from Crotched Mountain Ski/Snowboard -they even have salt and pepper :) -dishwasher with soap available for a couple washes -washer & dryer with detergent available for one wash (super convenient!) -free internet -free parking Really, this place is quite remarkable! We love the kitchen, the game room, the fireplace, the hot tub. We have stayed twice and our room is comfortable and clean, lovely room.

Relaxing and beatuful many acc

Although located in a VERY rural part of NH this mountain resort was absolutely beautiful. I stayed in a one bedroom unit and I have to say coming from Manhattan I was amazed at the size of this condo. There was a full kitchen with everything needed to cook a big breakfast (including a dishwasher with detergent - minus the groceries of course), living […] area with couch (fold out bed), reclining chair, flat screen TV with DVD player/Comcast cable, and fireplace (you can only burn Duralogs - which luckily I knew in advance from other reviews). Dining area that seats four, full washer dryer (including detergent to do one load and two fabric softener sheets), bedroom with king size bed and TV, patio that connects from bedroom to living room, and a ridiculously huge bathroom. The room was immaculate (this coming from a total clean freak), and the overall experience was fantastic. I have to mention, the original developer got in over his head and built about 10 extra units that sit on the hill abandoned, honestly I couldn't see them from any of my windows and didn't mind them at all... the girl at the front desk Cheryl (who was very sweet) said the current owner Shell Properties hopes to tear them down in the future. One last thing, the restaurant on site was fantastic, the food is very well priced, homemade, and delicious (if you like blue cheese and steak I highly recommend the stuffed filet). I found this hotel on a website after searching for hours for a place to stay for the Keene pumpkin fest. Even though it was a 45 min. drive from Keene when we arrived we knew it was worth the drive!! The room was spotless and had a full kitchen, flat screen tv and fireplace. On the balcony we had our own private hot tub. It was amazing! had we not […] arrived so late we would have loved to try the restaurant on site. This resort has a golf course and a restaurant , separate from the lodging area. The rooms were condos, complete with a full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, and private hot tub on deck. I followed other reviewers recommendation to bring groceries, and very glad I did! There are 2 fireplaces, to use duraflame logs (also something to bring with you) Very […] clean and private. We had a one night stop- over as part of our road trip. Wish it could have been longer. Lovely individual chalet style apartments with kitchen and laundry facilities. Hot-tub, communal, but quiet. My family needed a place outside Manchester,NH to relax for a few days and after searching the internet found Crotched Mountain Resort. It is pretty much the only place to choose in this more remote area of NH but that was OK for us. The area was gorgeous, local towns where small and quaint. A great getaway vacation area with plenty of nature activities. […] We played golf at the resort and had a great time. The town home accomadations were fabulous and totally spotless. Furnishings were in great condition and tasteful. The outdoor hot tubs were a nice touch. We were too early in the season to use the pool, but the facility has a great game room. We rented a two bedroom with full kitchen and felt the price was extremely resaonable.Highly recommend this vacation spot.! Mehr

We had reservations at the restuarant. When we arrived everything was closed due to sale and we were not even notified. Eating establishments are VERY few in that area. We should have been notified of the restauarant/pub closure so that we could have made other plans. I smell a bait and switch.....never again. Sleeping accomodations were very good....above […] average.....if you bring your own food. Mehr

BOOK IT. Great value.

I rented this room as a gift for my son and daughter in laws wedding night. They loved it! It had a beautiful fireplace and hot tub down the back steps right off their back deck. They had a very comfy king bed, the staff was wonderful. They ate at the restaurant and said the food was very good. Great place for a get a way or honeymoon night!

Rooms were beautifully decorated. Fireplace and private hot tub added to the ambiance. Great plance!!!

This is mostly a golf resort and the units have fully equipped kitchens. The setting is very nice, it's quiet, but also quite isolated. There is a restaurant BUT no breakfast service. That was awkward, as we stayed only one night and did not want to shop for groceries. The next breakfast place is 20 min. by car. My family and I were very satisfied with this hotel (so much so that we extended our stay a night). The room was very clean and provided everything you would need. It sort of felt like our own apartment rather than a hotel room. It was very comfortable, clean, and accommodating. The restaurant on site (Malarkey's) was delicious both times we ate there. […] I would try the grilled portabella appetizer and the blueberry mandarin salad..... yummm! We went here for our seventh wedding anniversary and we could not have picked a better place. The room was amazing, the surrounding scenery was beautiful, and the whole atmosphere was pure relaxation. We had originally booked one night, but had such a great time we booked another night (at the same price) ended up with a different room, but it was just […] as great. Actually it had the hot tub right off our deck and had laundry so we left with a whole suitcase of clean laundry! Make sure to ask for a tour of the golf course so you can go zooming around the mountain on the golf cart! Lots of fun. They even offer free lessons to golf newbies which is fun even if you don't like golf. It's worth it to bring some food along and cook in your own kitchen or grill it on the grills provided. The decks offer great scenery while eating, or snuggle up to the in room fireplace. Some rooms even have a fireplace in the bedroom. Our first room was 4A and the other was room 1A which is the one that had 2 fireplaces, laundry, and the hot tub off the deck. The furnishings in both rooms were super comfy. Hurry up and book your room already......you won't be sorry! If you happen to find a silver (titanium) mens wedding band near hole 12, turn it in to the desk, my husband misses it.... Mehr

We stayed at this hotel so we could climb Mt. Monadnock the next day. Although it was father than a mile from the mountain like the description said (it took us a half hour to get to the mountain from the hotel) it was a beautiful and comfortable hotel for the price we paid.

Beautiful location. If you love golf course was wonderful. People very friendly, room was very spacious. Love it can't wait to go back.

Very nice two bedroom, two bath condo with full kitchen. Everything provided for in kitchen except food. Under expansion right now so there isn't much on site but a restaurant that closes at 9pm and a golf course. We loved the solitude and the fact that all of the above came at the same price as a standard motel room, great value for money in our opinion. […] The only drawback is that we were 20 minutes away from any restaurant or store. Luckily the local supermarket stayed open until 11pm most nights. Mehr
