Das Familienzimmer war sehr gut, groß genug für 4 Personen. Das Hallenbad ist zwar klein, aber für die Kinder eine tolle Abwechslung nach einem Kultur Tag. Eltern können in der Sauna und im Dampfbad entspannen. Sehr zentrale Lage, man kann alles zu Fuß machen. Spitzenmäßiges Frühstücksbuffet!! Ist auf jeden Fall den Preis wert.

Schönes, sauberes Hotel, hervorragendes Frühstücksbuffet (!), freundliche Mitarbeiter - ein gelungener Aufenthalt in München. Besonders schön sind die großzügigen Suiten, so dass wir (2 Erw. und 3 Kinder) ausreichend Platz hatten und dennoch zusammen waren. Nicht ganz günstig, ich denke aber, dass ist das Münchner Niveau.

Der Aufenthalt war zufriedenstellend.Die Verkehrsanbindung ist sehr gut,leider kein kostenloser Hotelparkplatz ( 10€ ).Personal sehr nett und freundlich.

Lage ist nahe am Zentrum aber eben im Bahnhofs- Rotlichtviertel. Delux-Zimmer sind ganz normale Standartzimmer, eher klein ohne irgendwelche Besonderheiten.
"Nicht empfehlenswert."
Die Lage des Hotels im Bahnhofsviertel hat uns nicht gefallen. Unser Hotelzimmer war sehr dunkel (zum Innenhof) und direkt neben dem Treppenhaus. Die Treppenhaustür ist bei jeder Betätigung laut zugeschlagen, so dass wir schlaflose Nächte hatten. Auch der Zimmerservice entsprach nicht dem gewohnten Standard. "Selten so guten Service erlebt"
Fantastisches Hotel! Wir (Familie mit 3 Kindern im Teenageralter) fühlten uns rundum gut aufgehoben. Wir hatten ein äusserst günstiges "Business-Paket" gebucht (d.h. Abendessen und Frühstücksbuffet waren im Preis inbegriffen) und haben ein tolles Abendessen (3 Gänge) bekommen; auch das Frühstücksbuffet (nett: neben dem üblichen amerikanischen und europäischen […] Frühstück gab es auch Lokalkolorit durch Brezen, Weisswürste und süssen Senf) war von hoher Qualität und liess kaum Wünsche offen. Alles sauber und sicher, parken konnten wir in der hoteleigenen Parkgarage. Der Service - sowohl an der Rezeption als auch im Restaurant - war super - sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfreich, von der Taxibestellung bis zum unaufgefordert herbeigebrachten Zustelltisch (als wir beim Frühstück zunächst nur einen Vierertisch gefunden hatten). Dass das Hotel in der Bahnhofsgegend liegt, stört keineswegs; wir hatten beim abendlichen Nachhausekommen mit den Kindern (gegen 23 Uhr) nie das Gefühl, die Gegend sei unsicher; Vorteil: sehr zentral, 5 Min zu Fuss zur Fussgängerzone. Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt, wir würden dieses Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen. Mehr
"Würde dieses Hotel erneut buchen!"
Das Hotel, die Zimmer und das Personal waren prima. Haben allerdings nicht im Hotel gefrühstückt, war uns zu teuer! Aber das Hotel ist von lauter Bäckereien, MC Donalds oder Einkaufläden umgeben. "Mieses Frühstück aber gute Betten"
sehr mageres Frühstücksbuffet, das Brot war alt und wenn man nicht gerade Weisswürste mit süssem Senf mag, wird es schwierig. Die Betten waren sehr gut und komfortabel.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden, besonders erwähnenswert sind das Restaurant, das Frühstücksbuffet und das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Wir werden wieder in diesem Hotel absteigen und können es wirklich weiterempfehlen!

"Sehr nett"
Wir waren mit unserer kleinen tochter unterwegs und uns wurde bei der ankunft ein ruhigeres zimmer zum hof angeboten. Hotel liegt sehr zentral vieles gut zu fuß erreichbar. sehr freundlich,sehr nett und sauber. Nette und gute frühstücksmöglichkeit in der nähe. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Es liegt nahe beim Bahnhof wenn man mit dem Zug kommt kann man zu Fuss zum Hotel. Einkaufszohne ca in 8 Minuten erreichbar. Lage ruhig .

A very short walk to the main train station so great for coming in from the airport by S Bahn. Just two stops by SBahn to Marienplatz so really central. Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was clean and comfortable - exactly what you would expect from a Marriott. Breakfasts were great and the evening meal in the restaurant was very […] good too. Only critisism was that we had a room at the front of the hotel and it was very noisy (with the window open) until the early hours of the morning. Even at 4am there was still steady traffic and people finishing up their night out. Answer - close the window and use the air conditioning! Mehr
"Close to the train station but..."
This hotel is less than 2 blocks from the main train station and within walking distance of the Marienplatz, but it's smack dab in the middle of the red light district which happens to be co-located with the ethnic neighborhood of Munich. We love doner kebabs and such so it didn't bother us at all. The hotel is very clean, front desk staff is friendly […] and helpful - but the cheap toiletries in the bathroom was a bit of a downer, but not a deal breaker. I would stay there again! Mehr
"Best Hotel on our Holiday"
We stayed in over 8 Hotels in 3 weeks and this one was by far the best. The king size bed was as good as our bed at home. Breakfast had a very good range of foods that were fresh and well presented. Clean rooms and Bathrooms. 300m From the Main Train station enough places to eat and two supermarkets close by. People on here that whinged about bad […] area are a little miss guided, my Girl friend felt very safe walking around without the rest of us and i had no worries that she wasnt safe. The sex shops and casino's is true but you dont have hookers and drug dealers every 5 meters as some people have stated. Great city Great hotel Mehr

Very convenient to the Hauptbanhof. Very large room (Business Suite). They gave me a complimentary mini-bar (not sure if that's standard). Complimentary breakfast buffet which was actually very good. Great hotel located a 5 minute walk from the main train station. We found all the staff to be be wonderful and nothing was ever a problem. Food at the restaurant was great and the breakfast had a wonderful selection. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again when in Munich.

This hotel offers great service, luxury rooms and a very central location just 5 mins from the central station and a gentle 10 minute stroll to Marienplatz! Staff are welcoming and keen to help. Highly recommended.

We stopped in Munich in transit and visited the Christmas market. The historic center and market were circa 15 minutes walk. Plenty of shopping and restaurants in that direction. "Excellent Accommodation in Perfect Location"
Before leaving Aust had great difficulty getting accom in the heart of Munich for reasonable price; all was quite prohibitive for family budgets. Then it clicked Octoberfest is on. This hotel was perfect. Great location, great service, friendly staff and bargain price for a Marriott hotel but only through Hotels.com. "Great Hotel"
Everything was great here. One small problem is the shower though and the lack of a door. Otherwise, this place is within walking easy distance to everything.

"Nice hotel - Not a Good Neighbourhood"
Hotel is , but a bit expensive, also the restaurant was too expensive for mediocre food. No Bar in hotel. No mini bar in room. Staff okay. I saw good value advertised in other hotels around the area better prices than we paid, for same type hotel. The surrounding neighbourhood is a shock at first with lots of sex shops, small casinos, however it is […] a Turkish area and there are some good Turk cafes which have good food and are cheap. The area didnt appear dangerous just tacky, but is near the main train station. The hotel is 2 blocks from the main train station. Had trouble turning on the lights in the room but that is because you have to stick your key card into a slot when you first get into your room. There is a great pizza place across the street from the hotel called Pipasa.

The hotels had all the amenities needed including a large/delicious buffet breakfast. Room and beds were very comfortable and modern. Stayed in nine different hotels over our two week vacation and this one was definitely the best in many aspects. Great location, near the train station and all the amenities. Had adaptors to loan....wonderful breakfast included...great room wonderfully decorated. Only downfall was lack of Internet access.
Booked 2 rooms with king size beds. The one given to my daughter and her husband was a handicapped accessible room which they did not require. The bathroom had no tub or shower nor counter tops to place toiletries. When we asked for a different room we were told that they were totally booked and could not make any changes. Even though the area in Munich is not the cleanest or beautiful, the location so close to the central train station makes it perfect! Great rooms, perfectly clean, great breakfast, great front desk people, excellent service. parking is terrible...of course it is Germany. So be prepared to have troubles finding a place to park and bring plenty of cash!
It's definitely a good and pleasant hotel . Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Pricewise the hotel is quite on the expensive side and were they to offer just continental breakefast for the same price it would be a perfect choice.

Overall, the room and bed was very clean and comfortable. The location was good, being quite walkable to the center of town, as well. The only thing that stuck out in my mind was that our nice bath sheets that we were given on our first day and that we hung up, not to be taken away and washed, were then taken away to be washed and were replaced with […] tiny, thin towels for the rest of our stay. Very nice room which was clean and comfortable. Location was nice with only a short walk to get to downtown. Bar located in the hotel was a nice place to grab a drink after a long day.

We stayed recently at Courtyard Marriott in Munich during Oktoberfest. Overall I am very happy with our choice of staying here. The location is great (the neighborhood is not the best, but it is anyway in a big city downtown. It is near casino and audlt shops; that did not bother us since we read up online about that prior to booking this hotel) 10 […] minutes walk to Oktoberfest, 15 minutes to Marian Platz and 5 minutes from the main train station. Additionally there are two markets less than 2 stores away for us to stock up on water, drinks and snacks. Room is clean and very quiet (we stayed right next to the elevator, but we cannot hear any noises at all) The bathroom and shower are nice. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. One of them helped us print out the train schedule to Neschwanstein and they let us have late check out (for an hour) without additional charges. Mehr
