Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Das Auto wurde vor der Tuer uebernommen ausgeladen und geparkt. Unser sehr umfangreiches Gepaeck wurde sehr schnell ins Zimmer gebracht. Die WIFI-Zugangsnummer wurde geich beim Einchecken schriftlich uebergeben und der Zugang funktionierte problemlos. Waehrend des ganzen Aufenthalts war das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Weniger […] positiv war die spaete Reinigung des Dimmers. Die Zimmer waren geschmackvoll und geraeumig, aber die Zimmerluft wirkte wenig frisch. Das Fruestueck war im Preis enthalten (+),aber wie fast alle einfachen Hotelfruestuecke unserer Amerikareise zwar durchaus vielseitig, aber nicht von besonderer Qualitaet. Ausserdem ist der Fruestuecksraum relatv klein fuer die Anzahl der Zimmer. Auf die zu bestimmten Zeiten entstehenden Engpaesse wurden wir aber gleich bei der Ankunft hingewiesen. Sehr teuer erscheint uns die Parkgebuehr von 168$ fuer vier Tage. Insgesamt jedoch waren wir mit unserem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden. Mehr

Gute Lage in Downtown Chicago. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, ausgiebiges Frühstücksbuffet, modern eingerichtete und grosse Zimmer. Sehr gutes Preis / Leistungsverhältnis. Wir können dieses Hotel nur weiterempfehlen.

Wir sind vom Hotel total beeindruckt. Die Lage ist optimal, alles liegt nur ein Sprung weit weg. Wer mit der Metro, dem Bus zurechtkommt kann in unmittelbarer Nähe starten, z.B. zum Hanckock etc. All das ist aber auch vom Hotel zu erlaufen. Phantastisch. Very nice rooms, helpful staff, Adequate breakfast, Convenient location.

Good hotel with a great location... ground floor entrance less than impressive, but room was clean and comfortable and the subway and trains are within a block or two. Breakfast is nothing to die for, but more than adequate.

We stayed here on a family vacation and were very pleased with the location, service, and hot breakfast. The location was perfect - within walking distance of most everything we wanted to see in Downtown Chicago. The staff was very helpful and friendly - some more than others but overall very good staff. The hot breakfast every morning was great. Broad […] option each day and it changed daily. Eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, hash browns, omelette, etc. Plus a big selection of fruit, yogurt, pastries, etc each day. Great way to start out each day. My only complaint at all is the room. Overall what you would expect for a downtown hotel room but would have liked a little more sitting area. Beds were okay and the bathroom was actually pretty good. Just would have liked to have had another chair or two in the room. Overall all we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again or recommend to others looking to stay in downtown Chicago. Mehr

The Cleanest room I have ever stayed in -very comfortable bed - great location - staff was helpful - appreciated the breakfast lasting until 10am (many places close up at 9am) - I would absolutely recommend this place

I needed a well appointed reasonabley priced hotel for a business trip. This covered all my requirements, no flash lobby but very friendly and obliging staff, the room was very clean, quite spacious and quiet. The gym although extrremely basic delivered what it needed. If you want razzamataz and a big fancy resturant, room service or an inroom bar service, […] then this is not for you. Mehr

Convenient location and nice facility for a good price - recommend

Staff was very helpful with maps and suggestions of forms of travel to specific destinations. We had to check out and our train didn't leave until late that night and staff more than happily stored our luggage for us and we were also allowed to check-in a bit early too, which we cannot express how helpful that was; what a break!

The location of the Hampton Inn Majestic Chicago is excellent - it is within walking distance (5 minutes) of the Macy's on State Street and the Chicago Theater. It is also not too far away from the Willis Tower (about a 10-15 minute walk). The price we paid to stay at this location was very good. Continental Breakfast is included, which is convenient, […] though the food is pretty basic. I would return to this hotel if I had a choice. Mehr

even though they make you aware of it, keep in mind this is a very old building the hotel is in. The rooms are extremely small, probably the smallest hotel room ive ever stayed in. (not kidding) felt very cramped and not comfortable. the staff was nice, hotel situated in a good location. Elevators are slow. Would not stay here again.

Great hotel. Very comfortable and convenient to downtown. Will definitely stay there again.

Great staff. They were very helpful. We went with an infant and needed to access microwave for sterling, warming up milk etc and the staff did not hesitate to help us out even at 3:00 AM. Parking is expensive but valet parking is super convenient. A very pleasant experience overall.

We stayed here while attending a conference nearby. We had a fabulous stay--the staff was very friendly, helpful, and courteous. The rooms are gorgeous, the beds are comfortable, the complimentary breakfasts are delicious and varied, and it's located in the Theater District near everything! This suite was a good value for downtown Chicago The hotel is clean and well updated vintage old building. The staff is excellent and the location is great with easy access in the loop.

This is a great option for someone wanting to be in the middle of things but wanting a more affordable price. Loved being able to get to the train lines we needed on the same block as the hotel. We wanted to visit Willis Tower and thought we'd be taking the train to it. As it turned out, we could walk a few blocks to it. The room color (brick red) […] was not as "neutral" as I might prefer, but that's hardly a deal-breaker. Service was always courteous and prompt. We'll definitely stay here again. Mehr

Just 50 yards from the Blue Line stop coming in from O'Hare. You are literally "in the Loop" when you stay at the Majestic. All hotel staff, from bellmen at the entrance to main desk to housekeeping are friendly and helpful. Gray Line bus tours depart from the next block and all of the "L" lines of the Loop are accessible within 3 blocks. NPR's "Wait […] Wait, Don't Tell Me" fans will like that it is just around the corner from the Chase Bank Auditorium, where the show tapes on Thursday nights. (You must buy tickets online several weeks in advance) Breakfast is the only negative - leathery waffles, cold cereals but only low fat milk to eat them with - yuck! Hot eggs in a steam table, greasy bacon and dreadful French toast - more like deep fried egg bread. There are also muffins, bagels yogurt and fruit, so one can make a meal there. Mehr

We really enjoyed our stay in the Hampton Inn Majestic Hotel. Very conveniently located. Hotel staff very helpful and welcoming. Room was very clean and comfortable.

Great breakfast at the hotel. Clean room, perfect quality of hotel service. I'll come back :)

Very comfortable - there is even a laptop tray for lazy surfers like me. All the staff were pleasant and helpful, and I like the fact that there is a buffet breakfast included. My only tiny gripe is the paper cups in the room - I like to have my coffee in a proper mug.

Just arrived back from our first time in Chicago and the first time in a Hampton Hotel. We had a fantastic time which was only enhanced by the hotel and staff which were so friendly and extremelly helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast had everything we needed. The seating area was small but it didn't matter to us as we up […] and out early. We would highly recommend this hotel and would definately stay here on our next trip to Chicago. Mehr

Great location! Near train station, Millennium Park and theaters. The staff was so helpful . . . they let us check in early so we could get rid of our suitcases and get on with the fun!

Great location with easy access to CTA lines and walking distance to parks, lakefront, Sears Tower, etc. Lots of stores and restaurants are closed on the weekend so be prepared. Room service provided by The Italian Village which was excellent. The room was comfortable and very well maintained. My only complaint would be with the fact that we had only […] a large TV stand and a desk to store clothes which was a little undersized. Housekeeping and doormen were very pleasant and professional. Some of the desk staff were very good, others.....adequate. Mehr

I think this hotel has like a 3 Star official rating but it has a personal 5 Star rating from me! Great, clean, friendly hotel for much lower price than other hotels. Room is spacious and clean! Hotel employees always helpful! Good location! Free breakfast is high quality and there is always coffee in the lobby! Would definitely go back!

...is very convenient located, between Art Institute, Wacker Dr and Sears tower, all in walking distance. The free breakfast is okay, don't come too late. Staff was very friendly. We liked the hotel.
