HYATT house Dallas/Las Colinas - Irving

Very easy to find. Very inviting and safe neighborhood. The only thing to improve is the lobby. When we first arrived we weren't sure exactly where to go. The good news is that they are planning remodel soon so problem solved. The breakfast buffet is awesome and an added benefit. Heard that they where doing away with. Please hear my plea... Keep the […] buffet. It is a family perk and very good and well worth waking up for. The room was excellant and the cleaning service was awesome! I will be frequenting Dallas often and have found my temporary home here. Have no doubt this is a quality hotel and family friendly. Mehr

For our trip to Grapevine, we decided to stay at this hotel for the convenience of having a double bedroom, sofa bed, living space and kitchen. What's there not to like? The room was clean, the room itself is really nice and the use of space is amazing - the stainless steel appliances and 3 flat screen tvs is icing on the cake. The location is just […] right. It's off the freeway and near several restaurants and a gas station. Las Colinas is a really nice part of town - quiet and pleasant views. It was a short drive to the Christmas Capitol (Grapevine, TX) and we were able to take a quick (<10 minute) drive to the Polar Express Vintage Railroad Ride and the Gaylord Texan Resort for the ICE! Exhibits. To be able to all of this in one afternoon, come back to our clean and comfy room, AND have a full breakfast served the following morning made this one of the best hotel stays and bargains that I've ever had. For the price, the amneties, location, and room layout...this place cannot be beat! We will definitely stay here the next time I head up there! Mehr

Good points: The room was clean upon arrival. It was an apartment-style room complete with kitchen, refrigerator, toaster, and a kitchen sink. If you have one extra person, there is a mattress underneath the sofa bed that could be unfolded. Bad points: The hotel's location is at least a 20 min. drive on the highway to the nearest attractions (clubs/bars […] in downtown or midtown Dallas). It's a pretty far drive to the State Fair from this location. Also, after 11 pm, if you lose your room keys and you don't live within the same building as the hotel lobby, you are out of luck. The door to the lobby was locked after 11 pm, and the hotel staff refused to let me in to talk to them despite I rang the intercom like 5-6 times. Also, the hotel staff only changed the towels and did not make the beds for my 2nd day of stay. Mehr

This hotel is about convenience as it's situated close to a main highway and right across the street from a shopping mall with some eateries. The suite is fairly large and sufficiently equipped to handle long stays. Excellent value for the money.

We slept 6 people super comfortably. We loved having 2 bedrooms AND 2 bathrooms!

Right in the middle of Fort Worth/Grapevine area and Dallas. We went to Dallas one day and Grapevine the other. It was convenient to the freeway so we could go in either direction without difficulty. The breakfast was nice, loved the carrot cake muffins. The walk to the breakfast area is not far. Since the kids were sleeping in we loaded up on breakfast […] and ate in our room. We them simply loaded our dishes into the dishwasher and them to clean while we were out and about. The pool are was great as an after for the kids to unwind before heading back to the room. The only thing was that there weren't any pool towels so we had to go into the lobby and ask for some. Not a big deal. We will definitely be back in the winter to enjoy Dallas again. My family and I were very satified with our stay in the two bedroom suite. Each bedroom had it's own bathroom with the large commom living room with fully stocked kitchen. Location was perfect, we were able to get to just about anywhere we wanted to get to inside of 20-25 minutes. The buffet style breakfast was awesome, don't forget the outdoor pool […] and spa. Also, there were two large grill for your use located next to the pool they both were covered and had lounge chairs, perfect place for a bbq and a dip. Mehr

The room was beautiful and modern. The outside looks a little old but the inside is amazing! My family stayed here for my wedding. I highly recommend it.

Excellent location, good food (breakfast and dinner buffet during the week) and great service. Probably not for those who want to be "pampered" ...but an excellent place to call home away from home for a few days during the week!

This has been my second stay at this establishment. The rooms are always clean, and the service friendly. tey are full suites with living room table, living room, full kitchen, and queen bed. I like the fact that they have a full free breakfast (eggs, sausage, toasts, fruit, cereal, juices, etc..), free wifi, pool is clean, basketball court. Very close […] to the freeways but have to get in a car to get something to eat. There is a Starbucks across the street though. Mehr

We had a Mens Weekend, including Golfing, Cowboys Game, and it was all in a decent distance, no problem! I would like to go back as soon as possible!

We stayed at this hotel before we visited the Texas State Fair. It was great for two couples because of the seperate bedrooms each with their own bath. Very private and nice. Small tv in bedroom but nice size in the living room. Wonderful breakfast, great variety, helpful staff.

I stayed here with my three adult sons - we couldn't believe how perfect it was for the 4 of us, how it was furnished, and the price we got. I travel 60-70 nights a year, and never found a value like this, anywhere.

This hotel should be rated much higher than 2.5 stars. It is wonderful! We have stayed here on 3 seperate occasions and everytime it has been perfect!

Very nice rooms and excellent customer service. We checked in and our air wasn't working. We called the front desk and they got someone on it immediately. If it couldn't be fixed they had another room ready for us. Air conditioning working great within the next 10 minutes. They also have a great breakfast! We enjoyed our stay here. Room was nice, clean and private. It's kind of like little apartments. There are two tv's but no remote for the tv in the bedroom.

This hotel left me more than surprised. I did not know this was more of an apartment than a hotel. It had a minikitchen with all the pots and pans you would need. it was clean and comfortable, the only problem i had was the noise outside the door on the patio. it was a littlenoisy and echoey whenever the neighbor came and went, other than that, no other […] noise. would definitely stayagain and recommend it to anyone else. I had to be at meetings and the children and mama enjoyed the pool and the basketball court. I was really surprized that it was a two bedroom suite because the comments did not state it. We loved it. and we would stay there again.

We enjoyed our two-bedroom suite, the suite was clean and the location wasn't bad either. I only have to things I would change about our suite. I wish the second bedroom had 2 queens instead of just one (like most hotels offer), and the bathtub needed to be "updated" to match the rest of the suite. The kitchen and bathroom counters were granite, but […] the bathtub was a "plastic-like" tub insert which (in my opinion) NEEDED to be updated. Mehr

Very comfortable and quiet. Feels like home away from home, without all of the nagging work "to do's" hanging over your shoulder.

Unexpectedly, I had a two bedroom suite to myself. It was good for me to be alone with my thoughts, as my husband had just recently passed away. It was serene. Just what I needed as I awaited the arrival of our daughter from Spain. It was like home--- the second time around at the Hyatt Summerfield-- Las Colinas.

This hotel was great! The kitchen was very nicely stocked and the rooms were very nice. We went with my parents and kids, and it worked out very nicely. The couch pulled out into a bed that was actually pretty comfortable, my kids slept like rocks! The only thing is that the pool/hot tub is outside, and the first night it was raining. So, we couldn't […] use it. But, other than that, I would recommend this to anyone, and would stay there again! Mehr

We have stayed at this hotel on two seperate occasions and both experiences were outstanding. The spacious rooms are perfect for our family of 5---very comfotable and quiet. The decor is beautiful, breakfast is outstanding, and location is beautiful. You get a lot for the money and this is our hotel of choice anytime we visit the Dallas / Ft. Worth […] / Arlington area. Stayed for one night over the July 4th weekend and absolutely loved it. The rooms are recently renovated and feel like a mini apartment. They are tastefully decorated. Rooms are true suites boasting separate sleeping areas from living. Definitely going back.

The staff was very helpful, the room very spacious and nice, the pool area smallish but clean and nice. There was a barbicus that guests could use. The evening smacks were nice and the breakfast was limited but good.

We were at Dallas Market and it was wonderful to sit and ride less than 15 minutes to a beautiful hotel. The people there were awesome too. Thanks. Missouri

The hotel put me and my three children on the top floor above tw floors of other people. Also, the ac did not work when we first go there and we had to wait until the next day to have it worked on. The phone did not work and they had to fix that. The corded internet my children needed for their game never worked. When I was in the hot tub it quit working […] and they said it would be the next day before it would be fixed. I asked to speak to the manager and they were not in, I left a message for them to call me, but they never did. Other than all of that it was great, The breakfast was good and during the week they had dinner, so that part was good. Mehr

The room was fantastic, there was breakfast and during the week they have social hour where they have food and drinks for two and a half hours. These are great things when you travel with your family and the budget is tight. Now for the problem. I was traveling with two adults and three children, which it clearly showed on my reservation, yet they put […] me on the top floor. We got here and unloaded all of our things for a couple day stay and realized it was not cooling off in the room. I tried to call the office, but the phone did not work. I thought maybe they didn't just turn it on automatically so I called with my cell phone. They informed me that they knew the ac wass out and he wouldn't be able to fix it till the morning, since it was after 11:00 PM and we were tired I decided we would stick it ou as long as he could fix it the next morning. He stated they knew the phone was out, but they fixed it momentarily. The wireless internet worked perfectly but the wired my kids needed for their XBox did not work at all. On the second night the person on duty came to my room to tell me they had complaints that we were too loud walking around at 3:oo AM in the morning the night before and we needed to keep it down tonight. There was only one person awake at 3:00 and I doubt he made that kind of noise, besides if they knew I was traveling with three children why on earth would they put me on the third floor. I paid over $310.00 dollars for a two night stay so that I can be talked to about noise when I shouldn't have been on the third floor to start off with! Mehr

beautiful room, great bed, very clean

Even after reading other reviews and comments, I figured that the suite could not be all that great for the price we got. Check in desk was friendly and helpful later when we needed directions. Breakfast was great, plenty of variety and good food. The room was beautiful. Beds in bedrooms very comfortable and pillows a dream compared to most hotels. […] Towels were big and fluffy. Sofa bed no less or more comfy than sofa beds ever are, kitchen so well stocked I wanted to stay! Even a corkscrew and cheese grater!! lol And Ice maker in frezzer in room was nice touch, cept it could not keep up with us!! lol Pool was nice, other guests I met were friendly and quiet, never heard a sound once we were in our room and we had kids in rooms around us! View was nice, we were at back and looking over waterway. And with 114, 183 right there we were able to get to every where we needed to go while we were there. We will definitely use this hotel next time we go to Dallas. Mehr

I had a short business trip to the Fort Worth area. I got to the hotel after a long flight from Tokyo. The check-in process was smooth. My room was quite large and comfortable but it was a bit too dark -- needs better lighting. The buffet breakfast was very nice -- lots to choose from. The evenng cocktail hour was also very nice -- free beer and wine […] and enough light food to fill me up so that I skipped dinner. There is a small pool and it was nice to sit poolside after a long day of travel and work. Overall it was a nice hotel -- very conveneint for travel to the Fort Worth Area. I was particularly pleased that the business center was free -- I could print out my documents and send faxes for free -- that was great. Mehr
