Für New York Standards ein preiswertes Hotel, sehr sauber mit einer angenehmen Zimmergröße (Kingsize). Die nähere Umgebung ist zwar weniger ansehnlich, aber bereits in Walking Distance findet man mehrere Restaurants ( China Town, Little Italy, Soho), die jedem Geschmak etwas bieten. Das Hotel liegt zwischen den Stadtteilen Tribeca und Little Italy und direkt an einer U-Bahn-Station. Little Italy und Soho sind fußläufig in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar. Nachdem wir in den letzten Jahren stets ein Hotel in der 57. Straße bewohnt hatten, das ein ordentliches Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis bot, haben wir in diesem Jahr etwas Neues ausprobiert, um näher in der südlicher gelegenen Region von Manhattan zu sein. Wir wollten Soho, Chinatown, Nolita, Tribeca, Greenwich, Financial District einmal auch fußläufig […] erreichen. Unsere Erwartungen wurden nicht enttäuscht, da zum einen das Hotel einen idealen Ausgangspunkt für das Durchstöbern der vorgenannten Gebiete ermöglicht, zum anderen die Anbindung über die Linien A,C,E (Eingang vor dem Haus) oder 1,2,3 (Eingang in 200-300 m) das Erreichen auch von entfernteren Teilen von Manhattan sehr gut ermöglicht. Das Zimmer mit Bad war gut, sauber, zweckmäßig, modern, die Fotos sind realistisch. Wegen des guten Angebots in der Umgebung für Frühstück und Restaurant haben wir die hauseigenen Einrichtungen nicht genutzt, sie sahen aber ordentlich aus. Für unsere Anforderungen, die ein Hotel als Basis für unsere Stadterkundungen sehen, waren wir mit dem Hotel rundum zufrieden und wir würden es wieder buchen. Wer dagegen im Hotel eine Lobby zum längeren Verweilen, eine Bar oder Bibliothek benötigt, muss sich etwas anderes, allerdings nach unseren Erfahrungen auch zu anderen Preisen suchen. Mehr

Das Hotel liegt in unmittelbarer Naehe von SoHo wo es viele gute Restaurants hat und schöne Galerien. U-Bahn Anschluss gleich vor der Haustüre wo man problemlos Union Square und die Shows erreichen kann.

Sauber, freundlich, tolle Lage, angenehme Zimmer. Wer ausgehend von Tribeca New York erkunden will, ist hier richtig aufgehoben. Einzig etwas Strassenlärm gibt es zu bemängeln, aber der hat uns nicht wirklich gestört. Hatten Tribeca View Zimmer gebucht.

Wir haben 5 Nächste in diesem Hotel verbracht, das sich direkt am West Broadway bzw. China Town befindet. Leider war die U-Bahn Station kurzfristig geschlossen, sodass wir immer auf eine andere umsteigen mussten. Das Hotel selbst war sehr sauber, die Servicekräfte außerordentlich freundlich und auch so war alles in einer sehr schönen Athmosphäre eingerichtet. Einziges […] NO-GO: der Aufzug. Entweder er war so langsam, dass selbst die Treppen die bessere Alternative gewesen wären, oder er hat erst gar nicht funktioniert. Hotel an unschlagbarer Lage! Zimmer mit Tribeca-view gebucht, tolle Aussicht! Zimmer eher klein. Negativ: 1. Kein Zimmersave (nogo in dieser Preisklasse) 2. Total veraltete, laute und höchst ineffiziente Heizung, in der kalten Jahreszeit wird s im Zimmer empfindlich kalt (nogo 2, zumal s in NY nicht immer 30 Grad ist).

Hotel was comfortable. Staff very friendly. Right next to the subway to quickly get to times square

So wonderful to drive just a few blocks past the Holland Tunnell and turn over the car to the valet--even though the $55.00 per night hurt a little. Who wants to drive in NYC? Metro close by. Tribecca has fabulous restaurants . Bed very comfortable. Close walk to beautiful Battery Park and 911 Memorial. I found some cheaper places, but I think this […] was a great value for the money. Good stay. Friendly & helpful staff. BUT...I don't like the rugs in the rooms, corridors etc. It gives an impression of old and unfresh/a feeling of dirty.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, since we were visiting the sites downtown, ie 911 Memorial, Statue of Libertu and Ellis Island the location was convenient. Also the subway was right outside the door of the hotel which was convenient as well.

I liked the hotel once I arrived. The cab driver had a terrible time getting close to the entrance and you may want to alert your travelers to know intersecting streets. I had some issues with last minute cancellations, but it worked out in the end. My grandchildren loved the cookies you put out in the lobby.

A good hotel, overall. Have been staying in a lot of hotels in the world (when on business trips). This one wasquite good. I would recommend it for holidays AND business trips. (Breakfast conveniently ingested in "Tribeca Bagels" - within 200 yrds - great breakfasts). I would rate the hotel as a four star (****) stay.....

Great Service and Location! Close to restaurants, shopping and subway!

This hotel was cheap and satisfactory. The only problem was the internal noise; you could hear EVERYTHING the surrounding rooms were doing, and the hallway noise was non-stop. However, it is very well located, right on top of a subway stop, but easily walkable to the the downtown attractions. Close to canal street and the subway to get to all the sights. Excellent hotel staff and very nice hotel amd room. There's two restaurants and bars attached. The 2nd floor is noise because of the music at the bars downstairs and the subway late at night. Recommend getting a room with a view too. Would highly recommend.

The Hilton Garden Inn in Tribeca is a great hotel in a great location. We loved it, super close to shopping in SoHo and was easy to get to Brooklyn. The Brandy Library is right around the corner and it is an amazing bar with a great atmosphere. This is perfect for girls trip or family stay!

Two families stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for a weekend of memorial tributes for a deceased uncle. The facility was very comfortable -- large beds; many drawers; windows that opened (!); bright bathroom; coffee and tea service (plus chocolate chip cookies) in the lobby; subway stop right outside the door; excellent front desk; mini market off lobby […] open 24/7. I loved it! very happy i decided to stay here the hotel was really nice and in a good location. Staff was very nice. Overall great experience I would stay here again when i go to NYC. Super close to Soho.

Great location, Price. Very clean ,No problems

The location was perfect for us and I would have given it a higher rating except that our smoke detector went off the first night at 11:30 pm, again at 7:30 am the next morning, and a few more times before we decided to remove it altogether. An employee removed it after the first time and was going to leave it out altogether, but we felt it was a life […] safety issue so we asked him to replace the battery and re-install it (assuming that was the problem). The same guy came back to check it again and was stone-faced and unsympathetic, and obviously didn't really change it or fix it. It's a carbon monoxide detector, too, but he didn't bother to check to see if high levels of CO were the problem. Alarms went off on another floor during a carpet cleaning as well. The constant loud beep-beeps were getting ridiculous!! Plus the sheets did not wrap the whole top mattress. Just the first 3 or 4 inches. After all the stories about bed bugs (we didn't find any), that was a little disconcerting, too. The desk person Omar comp'd our ride to the airport as compensation for our trouble, so that was nice. I wish I met such nice staff at each hotel I've ever stayed at. How nice it was to have a fresh cup of coffee or cup of tea available complimentary at the hotel lounge. There is absolutely nothing negative to say about this hotel.

Recently spent a weekend at the Hilton Garden Inn in TriBeCa and was very impressed with the hotel overall. Staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. Room and hotel was very clean. Location was perfect for exploring nearby neighborhoods. Would definitely stay here again.

Mediocre - there are many better hotels than this one in the Tribeca area. Won't be staying again.

This hotel was a geat find. Location was great for walking Soho. Rooms were clean and new. I gave comfort a 4, because my bed was too soft- I think the comfort dial was broken. The other bed was good. Staff also very helpful Definitely a re-book!

This is a great Hotel in the Downtown area. Tribeca has great resturants , shopping and was convenient for my business meeting. The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable.This location does not serve breakfast , but there is an adjacent resturant to the hotel.

Throughout the night the heater would start a very loud banging an clanking noise. While the hotel staff was very attentive to fix unfortunately it took a couple nights to get it right. Mgr provided a complimentary room service coupon. Note I booked two rooms... both rooms had issues with the heaters. One worse than the other. Location... great! Subway […] line right outside the hotel door. Great restaurants in the neighborhood. The restaurant in the hotel was a great sports bar. Staff... fantastic! Very helpful and accommodating. Mehr

i sleep at hotels 3-5 times pr. month, and this is just the BEST service I have ever experienced! extremely helpfull and friendly staff just makes sure that your stay is optimized. That combined wiht the best possible location makes this an easy choise as my preferred hotel in NY - an easy winner taking over from my previous number one 60Thompson

Hotel well located with metro subway literally at doorstep. Great location for its variety of restaurants, within walking distance. Hot coffee and warm cookies at hotel lobby late evenings welcoming gesture especially after hard day of sight-seeing. Cookies were excellent. Hotel front desk staff were very professionally. Housekeeping damaged top of […] shampoo during start of stay, and upon lodging complaint at front desk, immediately offered to replace with new shampoo, plus a surprise complimentary RM50 food voucher, which we used at the AOA Grill outlet at the hotel. We are HHonours members and would definitely continue patronizing the Hilton chain of hotels. Mehr

This not only had a perfect location to downtown, easy train access to uptown and a quiet neighborhood - the service and rooms were superb! The staff dealt with our drunk, just in the nick of time, room service calls and even made a special sandwich for us. The gym facility totally works! Great staff! Loved it.

The hotel is in a great location for those who gravitate around Tribeca, Soho, SoWa, etc. Staff is professional and friendly, but a bit slow in handling issues. Stay away from the rooms that face the north alley - garbage trucks and workers are active around the clock, and it can get noisy. Excellent value for the price, and free internet as well.

Great location; large comfortable rooms, good beds for jet lag.

This is a good place to stay during your visits. It sits right over the 8th subway entrance in Tribeca and therefore only minutes to uptown. Good rooms, albeit a little small, comfortable bed, clean and well managed. Nothing over the top, but very well run.

The Hilton Garden Inn in Tribeca is right next to a subway stop, pretty easy to get a cab, but not within walking distance of many destinations. It's noisy inside the rooms, so we placed the decorative pillows against the door where sound and light came throughat the bottom. One phone didn't work, but the other was functioning. The people at the desk […] were really helpful and cheerful. We were given two free breakfasts after our next-door neighbors harassed us and smoked in the hall outside the room. Long story. We had to be extremely explicit about the address and location of the hotel to get the cabbies to understand that it wasn't the other Hilton near 39th. A great place for breakfast, in walking distance, was Bubby's, at 120 Hudson St. Mehr
