Es gibt fast nichts zu kritisieren, nur eins: unser Zimmer roch nach kaltem Nikotinrauch!!!! Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle wären hilfreich gewesen.

We had a great time at the resort, and would book there again. Just a recommendation, for french toast maybe ask if like e-tra crispy or not. Ciao for now

The resort needs some regular maintenance and some thorough cleaning. Things are looking very tired and worn.....bathtub chipped, sink cracked, furniture banged up, paint scaling and cracked and hallways dreary and old looking. We were surprised there is no elevator and luggage must be carried up to the third floor. The hotel is very clean and has a great location. Only complaint was the room had no mini fridge or microwave. I will stay again.

Comfortable mattress - pool and hot tub used a lot - not supervised - could have been cleaner - nice to have designated adult swim time but was not enforced - good fitness area and games rooms - business area but there was a charge to use desktop computer - and WIFI kept going out -restaurant expensive - a coffee shop would have been nice

We liked it so much we stayed an extra day! Breakfast buffet was very good!

We stay here regularly and our whole family enjoys the resort. Definitley worth the money.

The staff made the stay--from front desk to restaurant to maid service, everyone was extremely friendly and pleasant. The resort is dated--needs some paint and new carpets but this was made up for by the service. We had a great time and it was centrally located to the ski hills.

ALL GOOD AND PLEASANT STAY. NICE LOBBY.

We always enjoyed staying at Cranberry because they had the best duvets we ever slept on. However they have chosen to not use them anymore and we are disappointed because it made the bed so comfortable. I hope the management takes notice of this comment .

great hotel stayed in the king room the halls seemed a little dated but verry clean great service all around short drive to the hill and great price thanks to hotels.com

I THINK 4PM CHECK IN, IS LATE, ESPECIALY AFTER A LONG DRIVE TO DESTINATION. HOWEVER AFTER THIS COMMENT, WE WERE ABLE TO CHECK IN A LITTLE EARLIER.

We were charged $20.00 for a movie and we didn't even turn on the tv.. when my daughter called to get it corrected, the front desk was rude to her and told her she would have to talk to management.. but they weren't in.. the charges were billed to my credit card..now I have to fight to get them removed. Service is not their strong suit

The hotel was comfortable enough, but I was surprised and somewhat annoyed by the Bible verses posted in my room.

Nice place for a winter family getaway. There is a pool that is not super deep so good for kids. There is a games room, recreation centre where u can rent snow shoes and a spa if you can get away for some pampering. It is close to restaurants, the ski hills at Blue Mountain and even the movie theatre. The beds were super soft and comfy. We went by the hotel when we got into Collingwood just before noon because we knew it was going to rain. I wanted to see if they could call me when my room/ a room became available. Sure enough it began to rain heavily during the afternoon and we had to leave Blue Mountain. I called and explained that I needed a room asap as there was nothing for us […] to do on New Years Day in Collingwood due to the rain. I was told 4 pm was checkin. I wasn't offered use of the resort... I was just retold that 4pm was checkin. Check out was 11 a.m. and at 2:30 p.m. there still wasn't a room for us. From home my sister was able to get on a live chat with hotel management and explain my situation and we were quickly directed to go to the resort... our room was ready! Once there checkin was quick and our room was clean. The pool was a bit cool for my kids but they enjoyed the hot tub. There is a movie theatre 2 minutes away and we were able to watch a movie. There are several restaurants also within 5 minutes or less from the resort. Most of the staff we ha contact with after we checked in was very helpful and friendly. should send gaurd to patrol the floors during the night, and ban the noise from guest who talk loud outside their rooms. Was woken up 3AM by teenagers outside their rooms. Had a terrible night of sleep!

We stayed one night in a room that felt more like a Motel room. I could hear the people above us walking,talking,showering,coughing etc..... When you walk into the main reception area it looks like a beautiful hotel, but then when you enter the hallways to get to your room it drastically changes. Like a whole other hotel all together. It was off season […] so I find the prices a little high for the quality of the room, also the rooms shown in the pictures look nothing like what we stayed in. I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone else. The staff were friendly and helpful.The area was great, lots of restaurants and shopping. Close enough to the mountains but again, the quality of the room was not worth the price. Mehr

If you don't plan on staying in your Hotel all weekend, it's the perfect place with good rates.

This hotel was very dated, The halls were dark and dingy. The room had a bit of refurbishing but not up to the standard it charges. The bathtub was peeling its surface, there were no shears on the windows so that others could see in at all times.Only a few rooms have refrigerators and no complimentary breakfast was included which for the price, should […] have been.The furniture was badly damaged. The back door to the parking lot was supposed to be locked and was not.Lots of potential but needs facelift badly. Mehr

This was not peak time that we stayed at the hotel, so we can only judge for this. Affordable and all the ammenties we needed where met.

For our purpose of biking the rail trail the cranberry inn was very well located.

Room was fine ,check in wasplesent,wedding was excellent, wedding dinner was fine,service was good. Saterday morning buffet breakfast was awful. food was cold, ran out of hot? food, ran out of bread & rolls ,ran out of coffee,no service to replenish. Where not prepared, charged $15.00 outrageous.

I can't say enough how bad the food is at the Cranberry Resort. Was here for a wedding. The dinner was AWFUL, one of the worst I have ever had. The breakfast buffet was understaffed - there was no coffee, no plates, no bread, no eggs and no potatoes. Had to ask for these items and the wait was anywhere from 15mins to too long to wait. Why would they ask for a damage deposit of 100.00 from a middle age couple? totally bizarre. They gave us a double bed when king confirmed, pool closed on a sunny day, pool when open not heated and dirty. Overpriced and worn down features, not worth the rate they charge. Front desk staff unorganized and not service oriented.

We had our 1st ever Family Reunion in a large tent on the property. The service and food was excellent! The only complaint that I had is that as a single female I had to wait an hour or more longer than the others did (all couples) even though I was the 1st to book a room and the 2nd to arrive. Buttons on remote worn, yes they were, I could only view channels with a combination of 4,5, and 9 in them. Fridge in room? Just my cooler. Dated hallways with dim lights? Who cares! But the hallway was super hot. Dark hairs in the bathroom? No way, very clean bathroom. There was a lot of moisture in the air, but the staff were friendly. We stayed in the main building in a basic room with two double beds. Rooms were a bit outdated and could use some repairs including better ventilation, and the corridors were rather dark, though rooms were kept generally clean. We specifically requested to have a fridge in our room but never received one as we were later told that requests are never […] guaranteed, upon arrival, however to their credit, they did offer us breakfast vouchers for one morning during our stay. Also, they advertise wireless capability in rooms but we had difficulty getting and staying on line and a technician was supposed to address our concerns but no one was sent to our room. Surrounding areas were worth visiting and if I were to book again, I would ask to stay in the waterfront lodging instead as they seemed much nicer. Mehr

Although I thoroughy enjoyed my three night stay @ Cranberry the resort has the potential of offering guests closer to a four star experience. The front lobby is very impressive with its marble accents but the standard rooms don't match this extravagance and are in dire need of a facelift. I also felt that the size of the Courtyard Bistro was way too […] small for the breakfast crowd and they may want to think about building an outdoor patio for the overflow. After reading some of the reviews I was a little apprehensive about staying there but I was pleasantly surprised to find that our room had been renovated and the bathroom upgraded. The halls were clean and the reception second to none. The hotel is centrally located for getting to Wasaga Beach and The Bruce Peninsular. I would definitely stay there […] again. Mehr

Was very impressed with this hotel! Have stayed many times in the past and was afraid that the quality of the hotel would have diminished, however this was not the case. Cranberry has taken pride in there property and have not only sustained the quality but also improved the look and feel of the resort. Would stay there again anytime! Thank you.
