Wer in den USA sein Frühstück etc. gerne selbst zubereitet, findet eine gut ausgestattete Küche vor. Einkaufen kann man auf der Straßenseite gebenüber. Die Zimmer sind sehr großzügig. Wir haben nichts vermisst.

Family of 5 ages 79 to 10 loved staying here. Pool area was beautiful. Lazy river and waterslides fun for the kids. Oasis--onsite restaurant- on the beach/happy hour, excellent food. Rooms were fantastic!

The Outrigger Waipouli resort is in a great location on the Eastern side of the island. It's close to several shops, restaurants, public beaches, sights and other conveniences. The rooms and grounds are beautifully maintained, however, the most disappointing aspect was the lack of service. There is no poolside food/drink service, no room service and […] no cleaning service in the rooms. There isn't any staff to greet you when you arrive and help carry luggage to your rooms. I think the management can definitely improve their service and especially hire more staff to do the work. That would help make this hotel a 5-star residence! The suites are spacious and gorgeous, just as seen on the hotel's Webpage, with amazing views and fully equipped with modern furniture and appliances. The pool is quite large and nice though the beach is short and not really meant for walking or swimming. With a few improvements in their service this resort can become one of the best places to stay on Kauai! Mehr

Fabulous ocean front room, huge...kids loved it. They were disappointed they couldn't have tubes in the pool. Nice location in between Poipu and Princeville so it was easy to go either way for activities. Staff was very accommodating.

This was our 2nd time visiting Kauai within a 6 month time. While last time we stayed in Poipu (Koa Kea), we opted to stay somewhere more centralized. The hotel was perfect for our family of 5! The convenience of having a condo vs a hotel room was nearly flawless with the ocean front view. We stayed in room G304! Everything was very clean, with only […] one 2 tiny complaints! First, the beach is NOT swimable unless you have body armor to protect you from the rocks and coral so having immediate access was a drive away. 2, room service was on every 3rd day so if your looking to have your bed made every day you will have to do it yourself! We would most certainly stay here again. The location was great to be diverse and not just do adventures in one town. Safeway, starbucks, an ABC store and a fabulous bar and grill was right across the street! The staff was wonderful! Mehr

If you are looking for a centrally located place on the island with a condo style room, this is your place! Grocery store across the street. Kitchen is top notch and provides a great way to save some $$$ by at least cooking your own breakfast and lunch (dinner if you are up to it!) Well kept grounds! Great pool and spas!

My wife and I chose Waipouli Beach Resort when looking for a place to stay with our one year old son. Travelling with an infant, we needed a place with a full kitchen and plenty of space. Our two bedroom apartment was perfect. The supplied cutlery and crockery was ample and the appointments in the accommodation were first rate. It really was a home […] away from home. Then there's the grounds themselves. Comfort and spoils abound at Waipouli. The pool, fashioned as a meandering river with waterfalls, waterslides, hot tubs and a kid's beach, is the centre piece to the resort and beyond that is the beach. This resort is everything you want with a short distance to both sides of the island. The pictures on here are true. What you see is what you get. The staff are super helpful and friendly. The resort is very clean and modern. The garden/pool is breathtaking!

Location in Kapaa is central to travel to North or South shore. Staff very friendly, pool is lovely, very easy to get to Safeway or Starbucks across the street. We were originally put in a room with a make-shift king bed (2 twins put together with no head board - room C305) and old cheap laminated small nightstands. Felt like a dorm room! VERY DISSAPPOINTING! Nothing like the pictures. The next room they put us in, everything in the kitchen was filthy... Utensils, cutting board, countertops, backsplash, even […] the ceiling had grease spots - room D301! We paid for a one bdrm partial mtn view. We got full view of Safeway and noisy hwy 56. They are very stingy with towels. The maids only come every 3 days which is not a problem. However, they never took our dirty towels we put in a pile for them and they didn't leave us any new towels. They only made our bed & crib and they took my sons PJs when they did so and left a dead bug on his crib! Never got the PJs back... I WAS VERY VERY UPSET ABOUT THE SERVICE! This was a spectacular place! The rooms were large and the kitchen was nice to have since you can plan on spending over $50 for every meal in Kauai, even for lunch! Having the kitchen helped with some of the restaurant spending, but be careful, groceries are expensive too! The pool area is great however there aren’t enough lounge chairs in the sun. […] It gets a bit chilly in the shade with the constant breeze from the ocean. We just moved our chairs to a spot in the sun and the staff had no issues with that so it worked out well. But… the code to get in is an 11 digit code… really! After about the 3rd day we had it memorized, but I would advise keeping it in your phone or writing it down somewhere before you walk all the way down to the pool and have to go back to your room to get the code. The staff was super friendly and thorough with explaining how the AC works and how often housekeeping would come. The AC turns off when the doors are open and housekeeping comes every 3rd day which was enough for us. We got fresh towels and sheets every 3rd day which is plenty especially when you can exchange your pool towels every day. My only complaint would be the couch as it looked pretty worn and dirty. It needed to be replaced however it was ok for the amount of time we actually spent in the room. It’s not something that I would ding the hotel for. We had a wonderful visit and hope to return to Kauai again soon. Mehr

With two master bedrooms, a full kitchen and great views we could not ask for a more comfortable or cleaner base for our week in Kauai. Our daughter loved the pool and slides - even wanted to swim with the fish in the pond! Cocktails at the pool - even being allowed to bring in - would have been really nice. Kapa'a and the adjacent shopping center have […] many restaurants in addition the the beach-side restaurant (which is in great location but food/drink quality did not even near match the price). The only downside was really poor WiFi - this was one of our selection criteria and fighting a really flaky connection each day was a frustration. Otherwise a fantastic trip. Mehr

We rented a 2 bedroom unit with 2 families for 3 nights. The room with king bed nicely fit the family with a small kid. The kitchen is greatly equipped with all the necessity and much more. The hotel charges extra cleaning fees if stay more than 3 nights. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others.

The Oasis restaurant and bar was great. Fun drinks and creative meals from local sources. The best by far was the pool and why I said best for families. Not a lap pool but a serpentine pool with waterfalls, secluded tables/chairs/sunning spots, 3 hot tubs of varying temperature but the best was there was a pool beach! Not sand a bit larger--1/4"-1/2"--aggregate […] gave a beach feel to one end of the pool that was great for little ones. This place is across the street from a 24 hour Safeway but once you pass through the vast, open-air lobby you are a million miles away. Great stay. Mehr

I had a beautiful condominium with full kitchen, washer/dryer, living room, bedroom and two baths. The grounds are beautiful and the lazy river pool with slides and three sand bottom hot tubs where fabulous. We used the bbq in the pool area for diner to return to our condo to eat. The Oasis is a lovely open air restaurant behind the pool and leading […] to the ocean, wonderful food and service. There is a secret about the air conditioning in the units, ask and they are pretty nice to tell you how to keep your room cool. I had confirmed a 2 bedroom unit. I also confirmed with Expedia that one room have 2 beds in it and that there was a pull out sofa since I have three boys. Our unit did not have the second bedroom with the 2 beds. We were told that the hotel could not have guaranteed that. One of the boys had to sleep on an air matress until they could switch are room […] which wasnt done until the third night. We left that day for the beach and were told our belongings would be moved for us into the new room. We returned at 8:30 pm and our belongings were not in the room. We had to wait in wet bathing suits for about 45 minutes until they got there. The unit was very clean and nicely furnished. The pool is great for young kids. Our kids would have liked the slides to be a little longer (or higher) and to have the "lazy" river to actually flow with a current, but otherwise a really fantastic pool. This condo unit far exceeded our expectations. The room itself was very nice and included an amazing kitchen and bathroom. The pool area was extremely nice, and never overly crowded. The only complaint would be the quality of the mattress on the hide a bed, but they did bring us some foam mattresses to use on top of it after we called and told them […] it was unbearable for the kiddos. The two bedrrom condos are nice and big. Everything is very new, great appliances... Our kids loved the pool area. But they are cleaning the condos only every 3rd day and not very well. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The accommodations here are top-notch. Not a "hotel" feel but an upscale condo feel. The photos of the rooms are accurate. Granite, stainless steel, all-new everything. Very comfortable beds. I highly recommend the Waipouli Outrigger. And the location is very good for all island activities. You are not stuck at the north or south shore.

You only get your room cleaned once a week. I had to purchase toilette paper for my room. The first night there we had no sheets, blankets, or pillows for our son and no one would answer guest services after 9:00 pm. The hotel has a wonderful pool, lazy river, and water slides. Unfortunately, the water slides were not operational during my stay.

Overall a 5 because of the location, view, pool, restaurant (trust me, try the Mai Tai at the Oasis by the Sea (home made orgeat (almond) makes it unique and delicious!). Kids loved the pool! Beach is great (short, but very nice) but the sea floor is a little rocky - not prohibitive, though. The hotel room is quite spaceous and fairly clean. The cleaning staff needs to do a better job. I stayed there for 4 days and was given one small tube of shampoo! One of the two toilets ran out of paper!

Enjoyed the hospitality of the staff. The room was terrific with kitchen and outdoor table and chairs. I only have 2 complaints. The beach is to rocky to swim and the hotel restraunt was separate from the property you couldn't add a drink or meal to your room.

The hotel was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The problem that we had was that we were on the fourth floor and the elevator in our building only worked about half the time we were there. Then on the day we were checking out, we asked the hotel to hold our luggage since we had a late flight. When we came back to get our luggage they had delivered […] it to another room. When we went to get it from the room he delivered it to the elevator was broken and we had to carry our luggage down four flights of stairs. If we had come back a little bit later and the guy at the front desk was gone, we may have never found our luggage. So I guess what I am trying to say about this hotel is that it is nice but you are very much on your own. The front desk has limited hours and minimal service. Mehr

The hotel is better then we were expected. Feeling like at home, the kitchen has equipped the condo is brain new, the furniture is nice, the people ire friendly. Advice to stay to everyone.We were in Kauai in Courtyard Maryott, can't be compaired. This hotel has 4 stars, but we there like in 5.

Everything was wonderful. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The condo was immaculate with a beautiful view of the ocean. Make sure to book a car in advance. Several guests had booked theirs on Craig's list. We were without a car for 3 days but the staff arranged for us to be picked up by a shuttle for the helicpoter ride and the bus was […] conviently located across the street. Make sure to sign up for the Safeway discount card as that saved us a lot of money and we took advantage of the gas grills on the property. The pool was very refreshing. The weather was beautiful. We had 5 minutes of rain the entire 8 days we were there. We went on a whale watching excursion which was AMAZING. We saw at least 20 whales. The luaus are great as well. Can't wait to go back. It was a great hotel for families. The pool and waterslides were a lot of fun and the rooms were large, modern, and comfortable. The washer/dryer was awesome for drying out swimsuits between trips to the pool. Our room faced the pool and ocean and the view could not have been better. We never ate at the onsite restaurant and instead just went next door […] to the Safeway and bought groceries and cooked in the room. The beach in front of the hotel has very course sand and rocks and is not really one that you would want to swim in. One alternative on the southern side of the island, we did tour the Grand Hyatt and it was nicer on a grander scale with multiple pools, snorkeling lagoon, poolside bars and food, service staff and lifeguards, beach side cabanas, and a beautiful beach with perfect sand and waves for bogie boarding. This is a tough one because the room was great. We stayed in an Oceanfront ( not Ocean view) 2 bedroom in Bldg G away from the pool. The gym is great and the pool and spas are very nice BUT there were so many kids under 5 years old it was ridiculous. I really would not have minded the kids BUT their parents deemed it appropriate to let them in the spa, […] even the wee ones with diapers on ( gross). The spa is posted no one under 10 allowed but the parents just ignored the sign and the safety and hygiene issues. Also, most the buildings face the pool so if you do not want to hear the screams from the pool from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. stay away from those rooms. Hope this helps Mehr
